Architecture Sketches
While at school at Clemson University, the artist kept a running inventory of Architecture Sketches in sketchbooks. Now, twenty years later, these amazing visual representations of a new theory of Architecture have finally been released to the public.
Steven Yessick drew these drawings while he was with his girlfriend Doris, pronounced Dor-eece. She was a French woman, a widow, whose dead husband had been a top financier at the World Bank.
These Architecture Sketches define a loose approach to a new architectural language. This book is an attempt to carry a design process from the past onward into the future. These drawings convey a meaning of form which is timeless and eternal.
The goal of this book is to provide designers with a new understanding of how powerful the design process can be when using pen and paper alone. Any designer is welcome to use any idea from this book to contribute to their own design methodologies.
