Jack Addison vs. Asexual Vampires

“Are you planning to sleep with every creature you encounter?

The popular monster hunter Jack Addison is on his way to Transylvania to participate in a vampire festival and meet up with the coven elders. But no matter how thrilled he is to see the elusive creatures of the night in the flesh, he is far more excited about traveling alongside his frenemy/crush Roux. When the pretty chat invited him on the trip, Jack had hoped that perhaps the skittish creature would finally yield to his charm, but Roux is even more irritable than usual.

There are plenty of vampires to go around at the festival, and Jack had never been close enough to an undead creature to consider his curiosity satisfied. But when Roux’s behavior changes from annoying to alarming, it will be up to Jack to help his friend, no matter how many pairs of glinting canines beckon him closer.

“What is up with you? Did someone give you fleas or something?”

Jack and Roux are going on a work trip to Transylvania. They have JUSTICE business at the largest vampire festival in the world.

It’s so cute when Roux falls asleep on Jack during the train ride.

Jack first meets Vasyl on the train, where several humans are bullying him. Later, Jack runs into Vasyl again when he’s out on the town. But they have different interests...

The witty banter between Jack and Roux has always been a strength of these stories. But in this installment, it’s exceptional. So damn funny.

When Roux goes into heat, the feelings start to come out. The guys definitely need to talk more, but Roux thaws out pretty thoroughly.

And…after what should be a turning point in their relationship, they have to go on a job in Siberia…

Cheeky monster hunter Jack Addison is back once again, this time travelling to Transylvania to attend a vampire festival with his long-time frenemy and (almost as) long-time crush, Roux Chat-Bonnes.

This is the chapter of this fantastically outlandish and sexually adventurous serial where Jack and Roux finally give in to their mutual attraction and get their freak on! For that alone, this was probably my favourite instalment to date — it was very much worth the wait! 😉

If by this point of the series you have not fallen madly head-over-heels in love with the dastardly rogue Jack Addison, then you are truly a lost cause. For those of us following closely in the dashing venator’s footsteps, I was a bit concerned at the ‘Asexual Vampires’ alluded to in the title. When has our hero ever let slip an opportunity to expand on his interspecies skills!? (Especially as we learn here that Jack is compiling a ‘how to’ guide based on all of his myriad [and not always successful, even if hugely entertaining] adventures in diplomacy and dalliance.) Fear not, Constant Reader. This is merely a plot device for the writers to focus attention on a certain chat …

MM Erotica
Asexual Vampire Love
Part 6 of a serial
3 Stars ⭐️

Jack and Roux are off to help a horde of vampires and of course Jack is excited to try out a new species. However, his vampire extracurriculars don’t go as planned and when he returns to the hotel room him and Roux are sharing, he gets the surprise of his life.

Finally!! I’ve been waiting for fuck boy Jack Addison to finally have his way with his chat crush 😻 butttttt I would have loved more vampire time as it was like “hi, bye”. I will say the asexual vampire thing was new and seeing the before and after was really something. The sex between Roux & Jack was a bit creepy if I’m honest because it was so cat forward. I love cats and used to work in a cat shelter so all the heat and horny meows in this book were a bit cringe 😬 but by this point I really expect nothing less. If I’m not slightly uncomfortable by now I’d say something might really be wrong with me especially after the spider. 🤣

Something is up with Roux Chat-Bonnes but will he let Jack in or continue to push his adversary/friend away? I don't know what I can say that I haven't already touched on with the other entries in Jack Addison vs. A Whole World of Hot Trouble, but I'll try.

Asexual Vampires is definitely worthy of the "out there" sub-genre we've come to expect from Jack Addison but it really is so much more. The growing friendship between Jack and Roux is finally moving forward but whether Jack continues to put his foot in it to set it back is something you'll have to read for yourself.

Again the blend of erotica, humor, horror, fantasy, and friendship is spot on. This serial isn't for everyone but I highly recommend giving it a try because I fell in love with Jack, Roux, and the bed of growing creatures quickly even though its not my goto brand of "out there". And if you think Jack Addison is all about the bedding of the creature world then think again because with each new entry you see a new facet of his personality emerging and that his heart has more than just sex in mind, don't get me wrong, sex is still a driving force in Jack's world but we start to see its not the only factor.

One last note: if you are wondering if this is a series/serial you need to read in order then I definitely say yes! Sure each entry has Jack seeking a new creature but as I hinted at above, Jack is maturing and to fully appreciate that side of him as well as his adversarial bromance with Roux, A Whole World of Hot Trouble should be experienced in the order written.

This one was a bit disappointing for me. Guess Jack and asexual doesn't go together. So forget about the vampire case and the sex we get ... let's just say I recognized that I don't have any furry bone and seeing how high maintainance Roux's insecurity is becoming it's certainly not the highlight it should have been. Somehow a quite retarding piece of the series.

This is a strange series. I knew you needed to read this in order, but I wasn’t going to start off with the spider book, so WHY NOT to asexual vampires? Sadly, there’s very little interaction with vampires in general, and leaves you wondering if all vampires are asexual.

This story focuses in on, and who I’m assuming are the main pairing of the series, Jack himself and a chat called Roux. It seems like Jack has feelings for Roux and I do like them.

It’ll be interesting to see how they get together when it appears that Jack is making a bit of a name for himself by having sex with all creatures and hopes to put all his sexual encounters in a memoir one day.

This series is very weird but it’s interesting. I may go back and read the other books in this series to see what all I’m missing (even if I don’t ever pick up the spider one).

It's not even funny how invested I'm in this series. Oh my, it gives me everything I need and more. In this new book Roux and Jack go to Transylvania and at last we get the night we deserve. To be honest I devoured that chapter because we've been waiting for it for so long!!! And because I don't trust Ms. Merikan and I didn't want nothing to mess the moment. And then the ending... I really loved it, cause it kept with the tone of their whole relationship and we get something to look forward to in the next book

At this point and time, I am seriously rooting(?) for Roux and Jack. The book is so good and the progress Jack makes with the chat is oh so divine!
I was pretty ready to meet the asexual vampires but then I read the book and figured out it's all about our beloved chat.
Amazing.

Quick facts: m/m, no cheating, HEA, lots of monster/creature+human smut

This a whole-series review. 4.5 stars, rounded up because it truly was a pleasant experience to read all around. It's a fairly light read. You won't be getting into a deepdive fantasy world here.

Put simply, this series is great. It starts out with heavy erotica, not much on romance. While the hot-as-fuck sex (Jack sucks off a centaur eventually lol) continues throughout the story, the romance between Jack and Roux is a slow build and becomes more prominent as the series goes on. It ends up being a very sweet romance story with surprisingly significant character development.

This series is better than a lot of novels I read. The worldbuilding isn't over the top, but it doesn't feel inadequate at all. Jack is a great character, as is Roux. And Chad... probably the MVP right there.

The sex is exactly as advertised... a lot of monster/creature sex. It's some of the hottest I've read in this genre, frankly.

A few of the middle parts dragged a small bit, but nothing extreme. There are some lingering questions at the end, but not highly important. It mainly has to do with side characters.

If you like monster/creature erotica mixed in with a slow burn romance, this is your series.

I had high hopes for this one but was disappointed. There is almost zero interaction with the vampires. And Roux and Jack finally come together sexually but it fell short too. I hope the next one will be better.

An excellent novella!

I love this serial! The writers are humorous, and Jack's escapades are still entertaining even at book 6. Plus, how can you resist Chad!? I definitely recommend this book and authors. Thank you!
