Lenora's Germs

Rate this book
This is a story about how dangerously far a bully can go with enough help. Lenora Barnes knows how to get through the day–don’t look up, avoid empty halls, walk fast and when you get to class, pretend you understand. Lenora knows that just because someone acts nice it doesn’t mean they are, that not getting caught doesn’t mean you didn’t do it and just because someone nods their head, it doesn’t mean they understand. There are lots of things Lenora doesn't know too, like how to deal with the quirky girl and cute guy who seem to want to be her friend and won't take no for an answer. Can she trust them? Can she trust anyone? Lenora’s Germs is suited for readers up to 15 years old.

Deborah Dubé

A graduate from McGill University in Education, Deborah worked as an elementary school teacher for 13 years before leaving the classroom to focus on family and writing.

As a professional in the Canadian education system and witnessing first hand the troubling social issues faced by some children and teens, Lenors's Germs was a story that she felt, had to be written.

Deborah enjoys living in the woods with her husband of 28 years, along with her two cats - Gulliver, who is a highly spirited Maine Coon and Scout, her rescued princess. Her German Shepherd, Barney, is always keeping a watchful eye over the family.

Writing is Deborah's passion. Her second novel is in the works.
