روایت ویکتور هوگو از کودتای ۱۸۵۱ فرانسه.

حوصله سر بر بود، چون اساسا برای ما افراد عادی غیرفرانسوی، ۵۰ صفحه اطلاعات مفید درباره کودتای ۱۸۵۱ بخونیم کافی هست، اما این کتاب بیشتر از ۵۰۰ صفحه داشت و همه وقایع رو با جزئیات کامل شرح داده بود.
