Summary: Ash has been on his own ever since his childhood friend Johnny chose his wolf over his witch side leaving the coven forever. Never quite fitting in, Ash left to join the army where he found brothers in the dangerous war zone areas of the world until his brothers died leaving him alone once again. Ash found some comfort in helping other vets while trying to find his place back in the coven.
Now Johnny and Kell have a safe place in the coven while Kell starts the work of mastering magic and his powers as a WindWard. At first glance, the fight between The Children of the Moon, the covens and the packs, appear to be resolving, but that is not exactly what is happening.
Ash is asked to monitor the new windward, but he never expected to regain Johnny at the same time. Things begin to unravel when The Vigil, the humans determined to kill all paranormal beings, make another attempt on Kell’s life. Ash and Kell run for their lives as Johnny stays behind to keep the Vigil busy. Things are not what they seem leaving the three to on the run for their lives. Kell feels the same pull towards Ash as he feels towards Johnny making him wonder where his feelings could take them.
This was a wild and fast paced story with surprises around every turn and a love story for all times. I will be wait for the next book in the Windward series.
The WindWard series continues with Book 2 and this time we hear Ash’s story. Ash was Johnny’s best friend during his childhood and teens. At the Choosing, Johnny had picked his wolf side and when it came time for Ash, he chose the witch side of him. Shortly after Ash’s choosing, Johnny left the pack to find his own way. Johnny’s leaving not only tore at Johnny’s heart but also Ash’s.
Everything for the three men changed when the Coven called Ash to come back to help protect and help the WindWard. Shortly after Ash arrived, he had to help Kell with his out-of-control magic and Johnny had formed a barrier over him and Kell as protection from the storm Kell created accidently. When Kell saw Ash it was an instant attraction towards Johnny’s once best friend. It left Kell with mixed and confused emotions. Johnny saw the expressions between the two, but said nothing.
Ash fixed an herb tea for Kell’s anxiety; it relaxed him and he lay on the couch falling in and out of sleep. This gave time for Johnny to bring Ash up-to date with what had happened so far. When morning came the three sat down and Johnny explained to Kell his plan. He wanted Ash to take Kell away to protect him with his magic that Johnny would not be able to do. Johnny would stay behind to deal with the Coven. Not what Kell wanted. He wanted his mate with him, plus it was dangerous enough with the Vigil after them, but just as dangerous with his growing attraction to Ash and Ash with him.
Chao continues for Kell and Johnny and now Ash too. Kell and Ash are on the run, Johnny stayed behind. There’s thrilling action in the book that kept me riveted. A blooming relationship happened between Ash and Kell and Johnny’s the one to bring them all together. The sex is hot with the three of them, but they had little time to enjoy much cuddling after. Johnny received a phone call from Alyssa that had them, once again, on the run from the three groups: witches, Vigil, and the Pack, but now it was known worldwide about Kell being a WindWard.
They are fugitives’ now and needed to find the Ancient one that might be able to help Kell get control over his magic. The three learn of wondrous news that sets us up for the next book.
As I said before, the book is exciting and driven; it kept me wanting more. I’m anxious to read how the three will come out of the impossible situation they are in. Noah Harris has never let me down with a great series and I look forward to Book 3. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This next book brings in Ash, the childhood friend who Johnny hasn't seen since the Choosing, leaving both heart broken. Ash is an army vet and also a clairvoyant witch volunteering in a VA hospital. His coven inform him of the Ward Keller he is to help and of the truce and is stunned at the news Johnny is with him. Kellers powers are growing by the day but is afraid he could become consumed by them, the power Ash wields might be the answer to tempering them. A betrayal from within the ranks sends the 3 running after an explosive Vigil attack, Ash takes off with Kell to protect him whilst Johnny stays behind to draw attention off the escaping pair. The pair are attacked and escape again later on and Kell heart breakingly realises how the Vigil tracked them, Ash and Kell now have to rely on each other and their strange bond increases, luckily all 3 manage to rendezvous together and bolt to a safe house. Troubles just seems to follow them. Bonds ignite between all 3 resulting in a hot hair pulling menage only to learn of more betrayals and a bounty on all 3 and a big, long thought lost surprise for Ash. Again they have to run. They desperately need to get to the Ancient who is another Ward, she imparts some history, information and wisdom and after another showdown puts them on their next path with a big surprise thrown in. In love and united the trio braces for what will come next. Lots and lots of action and on the edge of your seat drama along with lots of love and emotions. This book kicked up the pace even more from the first, Lord knows what will happen next. I received a free advanced copy of this book and was not required to leave a review.
I am in love with this series! I read the first on a whim and was quickly drawn into it. I was so excited to read the second one shortly after and see where the story went next. In this book, we actually get to meet Johnny’s childhood friend Ash and they get to reconnect. It was such a tender moment. Unfortunately trouble is still brewing around Kell and they are attacked by Vigil and forced to flee. Ash and Kell retreat to a hotel nearby while Johnny stays behind to distract the attackers. From there, it’s an all out race for survival as Vigil continues to pursue Ash and Kell and Johnny finds a place to hide out. While tension between Ash and Kell grows, they must find a way to escape Vigil and reunite with Johnny. Eventually we learn the Children also want them dead and time starts running out to find the Ancient who can help Kell harness his powers and get everyone off their backs.
I loved the dynamic between the three characters. Kell and Johnny were as in love as ever and still so adorable. Ash became a new dynamic as he and Kell were quickly attracted to each other and there was always unresolved feelings between Ash and Johnny. I was so excited to see the three of them grow as a thruple. I only hope there’s more Johnny and Ash interaction in the next book as they both mostly focused on Kell in this one. As two alphas, I’d love to see how it all played out in the bedroom.

I was thoroughly riveted by this excellent MM shifter romance, it is the second book in the series “Windward Triad”. The plot is well-written & full of intrigue with unusual & unexpected events. The unique characters face trials & tribulations while trying to find acceptance in an unforgiving world. The secondary characters play a good supporting role. There is: a young male omega learning to control his power (Keller Thorne aka Kell), a alpha who decided to keep his wolf & banish from the coven (John Francis Oakes), his best friend & a alpha male witch who had his wolf side burnt out (Ashley Whitlock aka Ash), an organization prepared to kill anyone not human (The Vigil), a rather strange & unusual friend (Alyssa), werewolves, witches, wizards, hedge mages, covens, magic, blood, magic, mystery, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, danger, enemies, threats, traitors, betrayal, memories, resentment, shame, loneliness, reunion, attractions, abilities, choices, physical conflict, battles, carnage, powers, anger, verbal banter, hope, unexpected revelation, acceptance, shifting, a female ancient, stories, explanations, happiness, contentment, love & some steam. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this MM shifter romance and would recommend it to people who enjoy reading this genre. I sincerely doubt that you would be disappointed in this book.
This is the second book in the refreshingly original WindWard series from Noah Harris and it doesn’t disappoint. Note...Book one should be read first. The ongoing story of witches, wolves, and Wards starts with Johnny’s childhood friend Ash arriving in the middle of a WindWard storm. He's there to help Johnny and Kell search for an Ancient to ensure Kell masters his powers as the WindWard. But The Children of the Moon have other ideas and turn against them. Already trying to stay out of the clutches of the Vigil, Ash and Johnny have to split up, Kell goes on the run with Ash. The best bit for me was what Kell does for Ash to unlock his mind. This is a triad story so be prepared for the threesome that slowly develops! All three characters are great and obviously belong together but I think the triad angle could have been more sensitively handled and there are a couple of moments in the book that didn’t sit right with me. That doesn’t detract from an awesome follow-up story with plenty of page-turning action, some heat, and romance. I’m eagerly awaiting to see what happens to Kell, Johnny, and Ash in book three. I read an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
Here in Book #2 the reader meets Ashley, Johnny's boyhood friend, and the one who chose the life of a witch; unlike Johnny who had his witch side burned out of him and left him to choose the life of a wolf. Now that same Coven sends Ash back into Johnny's life to help Johnny guide then WindWard Kell in learning to handle his nature's very powerful ability. Kell experiments with his power but the Wind becomes too strong and the only thing Johnny can do to protect them is to call on his dormant witch power to throw up a shield of protection around them. This is where Ash enters the picture. He has been sent by the Coven to corral Kell's power and to instruct Kell on harnessing his WindWard. Though Johnny and Kell are now mates both of their attraction to Ash is very strong. While recovers Johnny talks Ash into taking Kell away to a safe haven. Thus we have the weaving together of these three in Book 2 of this series. It would be prudent to read The Wizard Wolf first to great a better understanding of the flow of The Wizard Wolf and to better prepare oneself for what's coming in Book #3. The surprise cliff hanger ending of Book #2 will only wet the reader's appetite for Book #3. For my honest and voluntary review I received an ARC from the author.
🐺 ... And two shall become three to unite and conquer ...💨😯 March 18, 2019 🐺3.5-4.0 🌟stars Like the first book in this MM paranormal romance series, this book has its ⬆highs and ⬇lows. The beginning was promising, bringing in a traumatized veteran who has deep connections to Johnny (one of the heroes of Wolf Wizard, the first book in the series). The last half of this story was much better than the first half so I am glad I persevered. The early chapters with Kell exploring his powers and Witch Ash's initial inclusion in Kell and Johnny's circle of trust saw my interest fade as these scenes seem to go on too long; I think briefer would have been better. Once some of the mystical philosophizing about their powers and the Children of the Moon and introspection turns into action and exploration of the new trio's emotional connection my interest picked up again. There's frantic escape, battling, betrayal, bouts of luvvin' with danger and possible death just around the corner, altruistic offers of brave self sacrifice for love and a happy few twists at the end.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Okay I'm not gonna lie I'm not feeling this book like the first one but know that I see the title of this series triad mean three . I don't know if it was the way that the third mate was introduced O mean they this author went on and on about the best friend I was expecting a conflict of interest on the Alphas end . I seemed that the Alpha had been in love with the best friend I was not expecting what happened too happen . I know that in shifter books when they find their mates things tend to happy very quickly but I just wasn't feeling this mating . I was fine with just the first Alpha and his omega but then the other Alpha was introduced and it was instant lust to me it just didn't work I think it this author had just stuck with the first Alpha and his omega and deepened their relationship it would have been just fine . This book just lost me I don't even know if I want to finish this series .
I will admit I had a hard time when I first started the book, it was full of information, like packed full. But the information is needed throughout the book, so pay attention. The three main characters are so different. Ash is a witch, who had his wolf side burned out when he chose that path in life. He best friend Johnny chose his wolf and was banished from the coven. Little did the know that a special ward named Keller would bring them together in more was then one. The book follows them as their love and frienship grows as the are hunted. First by humans and then by the coven and the wolves. Their path leads them to the one with the answers and a promise of somehing they could not imagine. a future.

Johnny is surprised when his childhood friend Ash arrives to help protect Kell. Ash is surprised when he is ordered home by the Coven after years away in two tours of duty in the military but more of a surprise is the mention of his childhood friend Johnny in the mission he is given to protect WindWard Kell. Shortly after he arrives at the cottage they are staying in it is attacked and Johnny send Ash off with Kell to protect him while he stays to delay the Vigil from following. As Kell spends more time with Ash he feels the same pull of attraction he first felt with Johnny and is confused by those feelings.A paranormal MMM romance to relax and enjoy.

Love this serie, Keller and Johnnys journey take a new turn when Johnnys old friend Ashley shows up. Keller and Ashley splits up with Johnney to protect Keller. After they split up Ashley and Keller has to run away from the emeny, during their time alone both fights their mutual attraction that only grows. When they meet up with Johnny again, he sense this attraction and since Johnny aswell has feelings for both meen he does something about it. So now 2 becomes 3 and they have to run again, this time to find som ainchent to help Keller with his training, during this time Keller realise that both men is his mates. This is a quite exiting story, with lot of action and slow burn. Theres Wards, witches, werewolfs and the one hunting them .
5 stars is my verdict. This author’s stories are wound in such intricacies that you can’t help reading them and this is exactly why I simply can’t wait for the third installment. We revisit Keller and Johnny and their continuing saga where they meet up with Johnny’s childhood friend Ash, who we heard of in the Wizard Wolf. The Vigil continues to be a constant threat and while they do get their just deserts they are like Hydra from Greek mythology. While there are heated sex scenes in the book, the unfolding drama is so intriguing I just want to get back to the story to see what happens next. All in all, a brilliant piece of writing.

I loved this story. The world of this series is unique and intriguing. I love the trio of main characters - Ash, Johnny, and Kell. The book was full of action, adventure, friendship, fated mates, repressed feelings, betrayal, magic, and more. The build-up of sexual tension between Ash and Kell was almost torturous, and I couldn't wait to see which couple (Kell and Johnny or Kell and Ash) ended up together, and when the decision was finally made (no spoilers!), it was erotic and steamy. There were some surprising twists that powered the story and caused some heart-ache, but the book ends on an HFN. Although this book can be enjoyed as a standalone, I am eagerly anticipating the third book.

This installment of the series is great! The first book did not wow me. This one seriously upped the game.
We meet Johnny's childhood friend, Ash, a vet, a warlock and a used to be werewolf. The majority of the book centers around Ash and Kell's budding relationship while they are on the run. It took courage for them to discuss what was happening and acknowledge things. I liked Johnny's tongue in cheek approach and his steadfastness. Because seriously, how many alpha wolves would allow another alpha near his mate?
This second book in the series builds off of the first and has a lot of intrigue and hot as anything sex. Whoa! The smexy scenes are off the chain!
Ohh! so so good😍 this is the 2nd instalment following Keller and Johnny and the repercussion from all that went down in book 1. All except we now have the introduction of ash, Johnny best friend from childhood and an added magical element to the mix and that there deep feelings of friendship and shared history deepen and they form a triad. This book had it all from suspense, intrigue, an endearing love story with plenty of reading at the edge of your seat action and all the magical fantasy aspects we get from this author. It was well written with detail world building that as soon as I started reading I had to finish it. I love the imagination and the deep connection between the character's. And once again a beautiful book cover, 5 stonking stars
Noah Harris' The Witch Wolf is the second book in The WindWard Triad series. It is a hot MMM shifter romance.
Ash, Keller and Johnny... oh I like these characters. The chemistry between them and how they interact with one another. Through this well told story, I have a picture of them in my head and I love it. The story is extremely interesting and never once lost my attention... I really am loving this series of witches, wizards and shifters. And who doesn't love three sexy men falling in love?!?
I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review Johnny and Keller are back but they are not alone this time. Ash joins them at the coven's hide away. Johnny and Ash caught up on old times as well as what they have faced so far in the journey to helping Keller control more of his windward powers. When attacked Ash and Keller separate from Johnny to divide the vigil from finding Keller. Along the way Keller starts having feeling for Ash what he does for Johnny. Can the two fight the passion between them? What will Johnny do once he finds out? With the rising passion between the three, they still have to figure out away to get out of the vigil clutching hand. Betrayal from all around turns Keller world on it axle. Can two become three only to lose one in the end? This series just keeps get better and more amazing. Can't wait for more.
This shifter storyline is magical, I couldn’t put it down! Kell is my favorite character from any of your shifter books. He had a very rough childhood but still was kindhearted. Johnny and Ash were childhood friends and lost touch. They unexpectedly ran into each other as Kell and Johnny started something they couldn’t control. I loved the combination of this trio’s chemistry. They all had magic abilities that brought them together in the best way. There were so many great twists to this book, you have to put it on your to read list! I highly recommend this book. Great job as always John💖.
Book 2 and WOW!! I continued to absolutely enjoy every moment I was absorbed in Johnny and Kell’s journey. As this fierce storyline continues the reader is drawn back into a world filled with magic, witches and wolf shifters and of course the crazy lunatics trying to kill everyone. Sooo much drama, suspense and action - 😱 don't miss the exciting news. This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy
this is the second of this series and is a MMM romance with plenty of Supernatual action and suspense. Tons of emotion, angst, and plenty of steam as well. Ash, Johnny and Kell are on the run from the Vigil and trying to keep ahead of all of the Children as well as fighting to figure out what this 3 way bond is they feel growing between them. I received an arc of this story that i happily reviewed
The Witch Wolf by Noah Harris is a wonderful story that I have read. This is book number two in this wonderful series that I fell in love with , cause this story has werewolves, a witch and a human in it all. If you want to read about werewolves a witch and a human then I highly recommend this story to you to read.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The witch wolf was a great read with magic, angst, danger, and hot, hot m/m action. Kell wants peace between the pack and the coven, and just when they think things are starting to settle down and that they are safe, things blow up in their faces and now they have another person to help them, Ash. Ash helps try and keep Kell safe, but he is falling for Kell in the process. Will he run from his feelings, Kell and Johnny, or will he stay and fight together with them?
This book is hot, hot, hot. You will be on the edge of your seat waiting to see what is going to happen. I cannot wait to see if there will be more in this world. You will laugh at the misunderstanding and cry at the heartbreak these characters feel.

The second book, and you need to have read the first to understand what is happening. Kell and Johnny are learning all they can when Ash joins them. It's a difficult transition from two to three, in magic, personality, and relationships. Kell is still trying to learn basic control of his powers and the danger from the Vigil is increasing. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
This fantastic book is one hell of a fascinating, powerful, grab-you-by-the-feels, emotionally charged, action packed, adrenaline soaked, danger filled, keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat, nail biting, filled with more twists and turns than a roller, and where nothing and no one is what they appear to be thriller. It had me hooked from beginning to end, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
When I started reading this story, I could not put it down. I read the book in one day. This author is an awesome writer. I can not wait to read more of their books. Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.

A great sequel to the first book! The second book expands on the characters from the first book and introduces a few new characters as well. Good character development and some very interesting and dramatic conflicts add depth to this second book. Ends on a positive note with a promise for the future.
