Forsaking My Father's Religion Paperback

In 'Forsaking My Father's Religion' Mohamad Faridi, a devote Muslim from the Middle East, describes his dramatic life story of growing up under Sharia law in a strict Shi'ite family. At the moment of birth Mohamad was dedicated to Islam by the reciting of the Qur'an in his ear. He struggled on a constant basis to do what Islam asked of him to please Allah. After years of committing to the Muslim faith, his goal ultimately became to be a martyr in Jihad to defend Islam. But God had a different plan. He encountered the Messiah at the age of 23 in Tehran, Iran, committed the unforgivable sin, Shirk, and became an apostate. Due to persecution he fled Iran for his life. Find out more details about this story in 'Forsaking My Father's Religion'.

Very short but very sweet

The journey out of Islam is extremely dangerous because the founder of the religion included death for apostasy as one of its laws. The West has been fed a totally false view of Islam by modern appears. It is nit and never has been a religion of peace. At its core us jihad, the war against non muslims especially Christians and Jews. Their faith and scriptures are were and are a threat to Islam as it is so clearly a distorted derivative from them. Read more about Islam. The struggles to defend Cgristendom from 700 to 1492 was only narrowly successful and is now in danger again.

A succint testimony

Coming into the relationship with GOD, THE FATHER by forsaking his father's religion is documented crisply in this book.

Its stunning to note how GOD works in mysterious ways to bring the person into HIS LIGHT. The greater joy of accepting Jesus as his LORD and personal Savior could be felt in Mohammad Faridi's words.

A good starter book to share with any of our Islamic brothers.

JESUS is King.

Being a former muslim believing for my children, dad, and some relatives to be saved, this book encouraged me to not give up, but keep praying and believing that they’d be touched by YESHUA soon. Short & concise.

A very short (40 minute) read that will provide insight into the Iranian and Turkish worlds, and the church and Christian freedoms and limitations inside those countries. Well worth the 40 minutes !
