I was lucky enough to win Dark to Light in a giveaway the author was holding, and I ended up enjoying it very much! Some of the poems were about issues and experiences I could relate to, and others really made me think. I rate this a 3.5 and not 4 or 5 stars only because the rhyme and rhythm of the poetry were too similar throughout the book--distractingly so. I'm not saying all the poetry was the same, or even that it would be a bad thing if they were. One line ends with "so", the next with "go", after that is "star" and then "car"(only an example). It may be common for most poets to write in a constant style, so I'd like to make it clear it is only my personal preference that poems are more diverse. The poems that abandoned the routine are my favourite in the book. Despite my criticism, I'd like to thank David Rudolph for giving me the opportunity to read his wonderful poetry.

POETRY IN MOTION & LIFE AS ART... 🎭🎨🎭

Life is indeed a journey and this collection of poems explores each of the elements that make up the filaments, that become the thread, that once woven together, becomes the tapestry that captures the story of our lives. Out of the darkness, we can embrace the light, we can also discover that we need never walk alone, not ever again... FIVE STARS, Six if I could. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
