Benjamin Vogt was just sixteen when he released his debut novel. Now twenty-one, this author has a trilogy under his belt.
Born in Idaho, Vogt's love for storytelling started at the ripe age of twelve. Originally just a hobby, writing quickly grew into much more, and years later he would find himself jotting down a fast-paced dystopian that would soon be known as Revolt

Good job, Benjamin Vogt! So why only three stars? The genre and violence just aren't my cup of tea. I think you have an intriguing plot. I liked some of the characters (though I didn't have time to LOVE any of them in particular.) I appreciated that the language was kept clean and I think you are well on your way to author fame and fortune. By all means, keep writing! It is so cool what you have accomplished so far and yes, I will read future books too. P.S. I loved your acknowlegements at the end.
The premier novel by Benjamin Vogt, REVOLT is a must read dystopian. I am not just saying that. He takes fast paced to a whole new level. I will admit that there is a smidgen of violence, probably at the Dashner Maze Runner level. This book was written and published by Ben before he hit the mature age of 17. Impressive for the quality that this book is. This poor kid got thrust into a world of violence that he was not interested in. Seriously exciting read.
