5 Star Review of The Russian Reborn (Rise of the Dominants #3) by Red Phoenix

In this series Red Phoenix has taken us back to where it all began for Sir Thane Davis, Anton Durov (Rystar), Brad Anderson and Samantha Clark. From previous books we knew that they met in college and became friends, however this series delves deeply into that the beginning of their friendships.

This is Master Anton Durov (Rystar)’s story, and oh what an amazing story it was. I have always had a soft spot for Rystar and if anything Ms.Phoenix has managed to entice me to fall even more under this hot Russian’s spell.

From the first to the last chapter I was captivated by the story Ms. Phoenix wove and I was hard pressed to put this one down.

This story not only explores the friendships with Sir Thane Davis and Brad Anderson but also the fiery relationship he had with his submissive Samantha Clark, who is also a Domme.

Can a Dom and a Domme really work? Sure there is intense passion but will it be enough? Will their hearts remain in tact or will they be shattered?

This was not only a sizzling book but an emotional roller coaster of a read as friendships are explored and relationships tested. I laughed, I cried, I sighed; I loved this book so much and could easily have read more about this hot and amazing sadist and what made him the way he is.

"The only kind of pain I want you to expirence is the kind that makes you fly."

The Russian Reborn was one of the most heart breakingly powerful reads I have read in 2019! It was beautiful as much as it was heartbreaking. I could not stop myself from devouring every last word of this story. Every page was it's own emotional roller coaster ride. Each taking you higher and higher with its feels. One moment I would be laughing, only to find myself fighting back tears the next. Red Phoenix has a unique way of capturing raw, and powerfully intense emotions with her stories. Ever since the Bries series I have had so many unanswered questions. The Russian Reborn answered those questions and then some. Despite thinking I was ready for answers, I can now say I truly was not. I was rendered speechless so many times. I never imagined how devastating things really was. So buckle up ladies, and keep your kleenex and vodka on the ready. You're going to need it. Rytsar has always been my favorite characters and this book only made me love him more. I can NOT wait to see what my favorite Dom's have in store for me next!

"Tonight, I will introduce you to pain in incriminates." I kiss one bare shoulder, then move to the other. "I will hurt you, but you will like it."

Rytsar is truly one of the most powerful alphas I have read. I don't think I can love a character more than I do him. He dominates your heart, while completely consuming your soul. Everything about him demands your attention. I loved that he never gave anything less than 100% with everything his character faces. I completely and utterly admire Rytsar's strength. Even at his weakest moments he never quit fighting. My heart shattered for him so many times throughout this book. Haunted by the demons of his past, tradegy never lingered far from his character. I can NOT imagine facing only half of what his character has. Yet no matter what life threw his way, Rytsar always came out on top.

"All the tragedy you've survived makes you truly unique. You are a man who will do great things, Anton. I fully believe that."

*5 STARS*
Well earned for this emotionally explosive ending to the Rise of the Doninants series. If you have not started this series, I truly can NOT recommend it enough. Each story is as intense and passionate as the Doninants who fill the pages.

I had the pleasure of reading an ARC of this book, but I also purchased it as a pre-order, as I have all of Red Phoenix's books since I discovered her a couple of years ago.

This book is the conclusion of the story of the three Dominants that we met in previous books. This series of books explores their lives in college and how, as young men (teenagers really) they were able to harness their dominant sides. The first two books, about Master Anderson and Master Davis (a/k/a Sir in previous books), took us through the beginnings of their dominant play, and this book about Rytsar Durov was no different.

The books highlights a brief time in Rytsar's life when he was in college. But don't let that fool you into thinking he wasn't in his most formative years. It was here that he experienced a brutal incident which solidifies his friendship with the two other Doms and delivers to the reader a reason for his actions in previous books. The scene itself, which could have been too horrid to read, was written masterfully and without a lot of overt violence. Overall, I felt it was the best writing in the book, and possibly in the series.

Another huge improvement in Red's writing has been the dialogue. She only gets better the more she writes, which leaves me wanting to see where the next book will lead.

Overall, the book is a fantastic conclusion to the three book series, Rise of the Dominants. If you have enjoyed other Red Phoenix books in the series, I wouldn't hesitate to pick this one up. And if you haven't read any of her writing, this three-book series wouldn't be a bad place to start, although you might be better off starting at the beginning with the three-book set that starts off the series at the Submissive Training Center and becomes much more if you continue to read through the books. This is world-building in a great way. You don't want to miss this series.

A 5 Star Must Read!!!!!
Rytsar has had a lot of loss in his young life! very profound loss! I felt like I was with him during this story as we see him through some very dark times. At times i ugly cried , I yelled and sometimes I would just sit in silence and hug my pillow. To watch and know that Rytsar would be challenged in this way was hard at times but the triumph of these three comrades was so amazing! This was by far the biggest book hangover I have ever had! My respect and better understanding of Rytsar comes from this very emotional and sexy storytelling of Red Phoenix! If you have not yet picked up a book from this author you will need to get busy as you will have a whole lot reading to catch up on! Forget binge tv and start the Rise of the Dominants Series or Brie series as this is where it all began! Love to you RED!!!

In this trilogy we go back to where it all began for Sir Thane Davis, Master Anton Durov (Rystar), Brad Anderson and Samantha Clark. If you’ve read the prior books in the Brie series we knew that they met in college and became friends, however this series lets us see how their friendship developed.

This is Master Anton Durov (Rystar)’s story, and we see a whole new side of the strong Russian when he is in a terribly dark place. We see how the guys come together to support him when he needs it the most and we see how strong their loyalty for each other truly is. It was truly magical to see how his early years shaped him.

Hero (Rystar) 5 | Writing Style 5 | Steam 3 | Romance 1 | Angst-Suspense 4 | Darkness 2 | Humor 3 | Secondary Characters 5 | Drama-Conflict 4 | Mystery 4 | Twists 4 | Action 3 | Pacing Steady | His POV | MF | Suspense | Twists and Turns | Sadist | Overall 4.5 Stars

The Rise of the Dominants trilogy was a great back story for Sir, Master Anderson, and my favorite Rytsar. I read Brie’s Submission first and was hesitant to read this trilogy thinking it would not be necessary. Boy was I wrong!

This is book #3 in the series. They can be read as stand-alone s, however, it is nice to have a background of the characters and how they are interacting with each other.

In this book we have Rystar. Swoon! 😊! Rystar has just completed his sophomore year of college. He goes out drinking one night only to collapse near his dorm building on campus. Samantha helps him to his room. Instead of being the true friend and helping him things take a dark turn.

Rystar takes a dark turn in his life. He goes down a very depressed path. He is drinking and passing out all the time. Samantha tries to contact him but Rystar refuses to meet with her.

Thane sees how much Rystar is struggling. Thane and Rystar begins spending more time together, I think so Thane can make sure he is ok.

Rystar, Thane and Anderson go to an auction at a Trainer center. The bug catches Rystar who suggests that Thane be considered for a future teaching position.

Rystar heads back to Russia for awhile to see his family. He is such a momma's boy. She spoils him the moment he knocks on the family estate.

Rystar has tragedy hits while he is in Russia. He isn't sure where to turn. Thane shows to help him back to into the light.

I did receive a FREE ARC Copy of this book. I am leaving a honest review.

Holy WOW!! This book delivered all the emotions, (and then some), that I knew it would. This book, "The Russian Reborn" is Rytsar's story and I will admit that I had to put it down a few times to process my feelings of what I'd just read. I knew his story would be beyond emotional and Red Phoenix delivered this brilliantly.

In the beginning of the story we enjoy the good times at college with the young Dom's and of course Rytsar has his Russian buddies that he often drinks with and boasts that he drinks them all under the table. He's always the last Russian standing, lol. If you've followed this series from the very beginning you know we learned that Samantha did something to Rytsar to make him hate her. This is the story where we learn the terrible truth of what happened and understand the depth of hatred he has towards her. She is dead to him, but he knows that he would rather still have her alive than truly dead. Thane steps up when he realizes just how much Anton is suffering and finally gets thru to him that he will rise above this incident and become better than he was. All I can say is thank goodness for Thane's influence because Anton was in a very dark place.

Rytsar heads back to Russia and we learn some more of the horrors he endured as a child by his father's hand. We read through the loss of his beloved mother and betrayal of his brothers. Revenge is a bitter pill to swallow but this was completely justified and beautifully written by our beloved author Red Phoenix. Back in America once again Thane has a surprise for his friends. They are going to witness a auction at the submissive training center. That was so much fun reading about their first interactions with Marquis Gray and Mr Gallant. I loved that part so much and Rytsar is just not to sure what to think about the mysterious Marquis. That part had several 'laugh out loud' moments.

There is so much more that I'd love to write about in my review but I'd rather that you read these books yourself, if you haven't already. They are worth every penny and so much more. I've said it before (in other reviews) that Red Phoenix has the magic that just draws you into the story with her characters. You become so invested in their happiness and sorrows that you feel like you are walking alongside them as you read their story. Thank you, Red, for another fantastic journey with our beloved Dom's.

The Russian Reborn : The Rise of The Dominants Book 3

Red Phoenix brings us back to where it all began in the first two books we we learn about Thane Davis, Brad Anderson and Samantha Clark. Now we get to learn how Anton Durov (Rystar) became the man he is today. The beginning of the story we finally discover the truth behind what happened that fateful night between Samantha and Rystar that nearly broke him. Thane comes to his rescue and helps him deal with the aftermath. When life becomes to much again Thane reminds Rystar that:
“We determine our truth. No one else—not the world, not our circumstances, and definitely not those around us. We are in control.”

Their bond continues to grow stronger and Rystar is so used to people failing him he asks Thane for a loyalty bond a blood bond.

“Thane Davis, I promise you my fidelity, protection, and comradeship.” He returns my gaze, stating, “I am honored to call you my brother. I promise you, Anton Durov, my fidelity, protection, and comradeship.”
“Tonight, you and I unite together with blood. This bond speaks to my undying loyalty to you and cannot be broken.”

Rystar has a set back involving Samantha and leaves school and heads back to Russia to visit his Mamulya. While there discovers the truth behind what happened to Tatianna the girl who he loved as a youngster and then his beloved Mamulya is murdered.
Drinking and fighting not caring if he lives or dies again he is on a downward spiral. Thane comes to the rescue once again and discovers just how bad the situation has become when Rystar tells him "I’m tired and broken. I have nothing left.” “Just let me go.”
I love how they are there to support each other though the good and bad. I have always loved Rystar and his story just makes me love him that much more.

What an incredible story!

This is the 3rd book in the Rise of the Dominants series and it was an absolutely fantastic read from beginning to end. I couldn't put it down and I stayed up all night reading without any regrets for the lack of sleep.

Masterfully written - pun intended - we finally gain insight into the trials and tribulations of Anton 'Rystar' Durov with this book. So many of the questions that we have been wondering about throughout the Brie's Submission series and within the previous books of the Rise of the Dominants are finally answered. Seeing as it's written in the first person, it allows us the unique insight of being inside Rytsar's head in order to understand his motives behind many of his actions including those that happen in the Brie's series much later in his life. We get to see his struggles to overcome his own personal pain while attempting to provide pleasurable pain for others in what he does best as a Dominant with his cat-o-nines. If you loved Her Russian Knight, which of course was told from his POV as well, this book touches on many of the issues from his past that shape who he became. While not required to have read that book, it will definitely enhance your experience with The Russian Reborn. As usual, there are a few cameos from previous books including Samantha, our favourite Domme, which only intensifies the story as we finally get to see how things pieced themselves together for some of our most-loved characters.

I honestly can't recommend this book more because I truly loved it and I know it's become one of the many books written by Red Phoenix that I will read multiple times. Be sure to pick up your copy ASAP

When I first started reading erotic romance, I never truly imagined that a part of me could ever be attracted to a sadist. I mean, what were the odds? Apparently, the way Red Phoenix writes a story the odds were sky high! Holy moly does this Russian dominant have me wrapped around his strong talented fingers! (Can Kindles overheat...asking for a friend. ;))

This series just keeps getting better and better. In this book, we explore the depths of what makes our favorite Russian playboy who he is. We see the good, the bad, and the broken in him. It is an an emotional journey that explores family, friendships, and shall we say...dirty fun. YUM! We see what makes our beloved sadist the pain loving man he has mastered. The agonizing incident between he and Domme Samantha Clarke is unveiled and made me want so desperately to hold, caress and just plain hug the heck out of Rytsar!! Yes, I know he probably wouldn't have liked that and I would've been taken in hand and marked for his enjoyment. What can I say? He's Rytsar and I love him just the way he is!

Red Phoenix is a phenomenal writer, and weaves a story that wraps itself around your heart for all of the characters of the Brie's Submission series. I encourage you to start with that series if you've missed it. Then, jump into this one with both feet to really see what makes Rytsar, Brie, Sir Thane, Tono, Samantha Clarke, and Master Anderson the wonderful characters that feel like family to readers. There are plenty of laughs, swoon-worthy moments, kinky escapades, camaraderie, and soul shattering loves. You'll love it! No one writes a BDSM series better. I guarantee it!

The Russian Reborn (Rise of the Dominants #3) by Red Phoenix
I received this book from the author.

This was another great look at the dominates when they were college kids way before Brie entered the lives of the men. I was glad but shocked when we finally got to see the “night” between Samantha and Rytsar played out. Being a fan of the series, we have heard bits and pieces but to SEE what happened and FEEL Rytsar’s shock and shame was hard to take. Seeing our strong Russian so broken and in such a dark place, made my heart hurt for him. I will admit, I feel bad and do understand Samantha’s needs to please him is what caused this entire scene in the first place.

I LOVED seeing Thane, Brad, and Rytsar being fun loving college guys struggling with their family and their lives. But seeing those bonds form that will last a lifetime is amazing as well. Seeing the loyalty these men have for one another…..priceless…..I was cheering a bit when Tono popped into the story too!! Who doesn’t love him????

There is so much in this story that any fan will be devouring the book to learn about our broken and strong Russian who steals everyone’s heart. Now if he could only have an HEA in the future, I will be a happy reader!!

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

I have been waiting for this book. Rytsar is my favorite of all the Doms and we finally get his story. We are able to see what all has happened in Rytsar’s life that makes him the man he is today.

Rytsar had a hard life growing up that he had to overcome. As a collage student in the US he finds 2 friends who become a life line for him. They are always there for each other to help them through what ever is going on in their life. We are finally told the entire story of what happened between him and Samantha that life changing event day. All I can say is this absolutely broke me to see how She destroyed him. I loved seeing Rytsars mom she has a heart of gold here again seeing what happens to her sends Rytsar over the edge. The only one that could possibly help him is his blood brother, Thane.

I like seeing Thane, Brad and Rytsar together the bond they share is amazing. They are all alpha but have totally different ways of projecting this. Rytsar’s story made my heart blead everything that he had to endure. I enjoyed seeing him wield his cat o’ nines. I enjoyed getting glimpses into the younger years of the Dom’s but most of all it was a way to see how they came into the BDSM lifestyle and how they became the men they are today. Thank you Red Phoenix for sharing their story with us.

Love it!!! This is book #3 The Russian Reborn by Red Phoenix. Yay!!! Finally awaited story of Rytsar Durov. Book #2 left off with the a cliffhanger that left me on the edge of my sear and my mind working over time. This story has torn at my heartstrings from beginning to end. I couldn't put it down. Rytsar's story tells of love, loss, anger, heartbreak, and a brotherhood/blood bond that can not be broken. What happen to him should never have happen even when he was a young boy and the cruelty from his father, made him into the man he is today. One that has a heart and just wanted more love. The relationship between him and his mother brought a smile to my face but than it all turned to tears. (Pulls out tissue). Than the bond between him and Thane is so strong. Thane knew he needed him and saved his life. What they share is so strong. Now I can truly understand how he is able to share Brie with him. It's like they are one. Even the funny times with Master Anderson was what was needed. Great job Red Phoenix. Awesome read but be prepared for the rollercoaster of emotions. Now I'm drawn into his character and his life. I need him to find that love that he deserves.

I started the Brie's submission series in backwards order by listening to these Jason Clarke prequels first before even starting the others and I'm actually glad I did - because from here on out Jason's voice will always be Rystar's in my head. His Russian-English accent is so powerful and full of both pain and passion, you can't help but want that voice as the character's forever.

The story is the dark details of how the Russian friend of Sir's came to America after tragedy in his homeland, becomes friends with both Sir, Master Anderson, and Samantha. At this point you see his strength, but then you are pulled in further to his vulnerability when two more situations threaten to break him. Rytsar becomes a character that you ache with, feel pain with, and every time his passion is allowed to unleash - you feel his dominating love.

In all honesty, I had to stop and start this book twice because of the dark, triggering storyline - but it was totally worth every moment of listening to the pain & the overcoming life that both Red's text and Jason's voice give to this character. We can overcome so much as individuals when we have just one or two people we let inside our circle to help us through.

And I fell in absolute LOVE with this Russian's Rise.

"I begged God for death and He sent Thane to rescue me."

Powerful. Emotional. Expressive.
We gain true insight in Anton 'Rystar' Durov's life in The Russian Reborn. All our questions that we have been harboring throughout Brie's submission series and within the last 2 books of the Rise of the Dominants are finally answered. There are touchy subjects, but I for one am so happy that we are inside his head for once and know what his thoughts are.

His brotherly bond with Thane is emotional and heart-warming. Their connection will touch your soul and brand it as they do at the beach; making you one of the pack.

After reading Rise of the Dominants, I have the urge now to venture back to the beginning and read Brie's Submission as now knowing where all 3 Dominants began, maybe it will be a different outlook. I only hope that Red will write a book on Mistress Samantha now. Now that is one head-space I would LOVE to adventure into!

Rytsar has to be my favourite but he is also the scariest. (for me anyway!!)

What a wonderful read. To learn why he is the way he is as an older man. Of course we have had snippets it his life but his adds to his scary persona.

How much emotion in one book can you read!!?? So much has happened to him up to this point. How much can one person take? The abuse of his father, the loss of the love of his life, his mothers murder, his brothers betrayal.....to top it off, the abuse he suffered at Samanthas hands. that was the last straw.......no wonder he just wanted to give up.

Thankfully Thane Davis was there to help and they both helped each other. You actually forget that these are still young men just trying to find their way under difficult and emotional circumstances.

True friendship is the feel throughout these three books, Thane being the glue. The journeys they all take make for a great read.

I can't wait for the next.

So.... I wasn’t Rytsars biggest fan when I started this book. He always seemed like a bully to me. But in this book, we find out about His past and the things He has lived through, and survived! From being His fathers whipping boy, to losing Tatianna and His mother... He’s suffered tremendous loss.

I’ve never felt much love for Samantha, and after reading what she did and said on the night that is always referenced in the Brie series, I can’t stomach the woman! I was heartbroken for Rytsar, and wanted to smack Samantha!

This book gave me a greater appreciation for Rytsar, and for His relationship to Thane. He needed someone in His corner.

The brie series is a must read for me, and knowing the background on the Doms has been good information to have to further my fascination for more of them!!

@redphoenix you are amazing!

Looking back on young Rystar's journey of what made him the man and dominate he is today sent me on a roller coaster of emotions. You know when an author has done their job well when they are able to do this and Red Phoenix has done just that.  Starting with the joy of seeing him make new American friends which he could cut loose and joke around with brought smiles to belly rolling laughter.  The betrayal from someone he trusted and the loss of loved ones that made him not want to live brought such sadness that I cried real tears.  Seeing friendship bound to brotherhood and loyalty that will sustain him for a lifetime. To finally Justice being served.  Oh and don't forget those very hot scenes.  Rystar rises from the ashes to be reborn.   Don't miss this incredible experience. I can't wait to see what is next for Rystar as he continues his journey.

This is the third book in the Rise of the Dominants series with some of the characters from the Brie's Submission series tied in beautifully. It is the back story of Russian dominant Rytsar Durov and how he became the man he is, his relationship with Thane and Anderson, the heartbreak he suffered at the hands of Samantha when she hurt him like no human should have to suffer and about the loss of two people he loved. Red really makes us feel the emotion Rytsar is feeling and how and why he bonded with Thane. Red helps us to understand Rystar's loving relationship with his mother. This story made me laugh and cry for this amazing character. I loved the joyful ending but hated to see this beautifully written book end. Red writes with such love and compassion. I love and highly recommend all of Red's work.

Red Phoenix this book is amazing! Like your other books you put your heart and soul into this. The questions I’ve been wondering have been answered. Rytsar Durov is very interesting character! He is passionate, very loyal and I’m honored to read your work. I’m glad you wrote about his background. It makes us appreciate him even more. His bound with Thane and Brad is amazing. They are not blood brothers but they are more brothers than his actual blood brothers. I loved this book. His past is what shaped him into the man he has become. Love and Loss strengths his bond. He has to overcome this tragedy to be strong. Thane is by his side to help him achieve this. Amazing read! You will love it!!

Oh my dear Lord I loved this book. I was anxious to read this final book in this trilogy because I wanted to know more about what made Rytsar the man he was. You will need to keep tissues close by as there are some really emotional scenes in here, and I love how much his feelings and pain come out. Seeing his relationship with his mother was another awesome part of the story. Also, I have re-affirmed my dislike of Ms. Clarke. What she did was truly unforgivable and I just wanted to throat punch her. I cried so hard during that part of the story... I could truly feel Rytsar's pain having been through a similar experience. I loved seeing the development of these three men and feel even closer to them after this trilogy.

This is the conclusion of Master Davis, Anderson, and Rystar's story in their journey of becoming mem and dominants. This book focuses on Rystar when he was in college. In this story we learn of a brutal accident that bonds these three Doms as close friends.

I have always adored Ryatar, even though sometimes he is a little tough to take. I'm glad I learned more about him and what shaped him into the man he is now. I think Red did an amazing job telling his story and the accident scene blew me away. Violent yet the way it was detailed and written I did not cringe. Red always has a way with words and her characters will worm their way into your hearts and take a piece of you with them. I highly recommend this one!

This is the third book in the "Rise of the Dominants" series. What an emotional book it was for me. I've read the previous books of Red Phoenix so knew who Rytsar was and had a vague impression of his loyalty to friends and colleagues and his penchant as a sadist in the BDSM world but here I got to meet the personal side of him. Bless his heart, what he's had to go through in his young life was just amazing to me. As a matter of fact, it brought tears to my eyes several times. Getting to know him made me feel even closer to his character and I loved it. Not only that, we get to see the personal growth and tight bond that forms between Rytsar, Thane and Brad. It was a truly humbling experience.
I was given an ARC of this book from the author and this is my voluntary review.

Wow! I’ve been intrigued by Durov’s story since I listened to Sir’s Rise. The Sadist has always been a favorite when I read/listened to the Brie’s Submission series. But I am so in love with him now.

Rystar has such conflict in his life, and the BDSM dungeon is his place of solace, where he has full control. There were some shocking things about him, and at a couple of points in this story I was in tears. This beautifully broken man had me in the palm of his hand. His origin story had so many layers to it. Thane and Brad are in this one, as well. I love their friendship; it’s so strong and solid.

Jason Clarke does a wonderful narration of the Russian Sadist. He’s one of my favorite narrators because he has such a wide range.

Red Phoenix hit it out the park with this one! Since the beginning of the Brie series and the introduction to Anton Durov "Rytsar" I had fallen in love! Being able to read about his younger life and the things that made him who he is, is such a treat. I will admit this book had me crying and laughing and it was the perfect mix of emotions! The camaraderie between Sir, Master Anderson and Rytsar is amazing. We should all wish for friendships like theirs. I highly recommend reading this series and of course the Brie series as well. I am sitting here writing this with the biggest smile on my face. Well done Red, well done!

I so loved this book. I have read all books by Red Phoenix. Her work is phenomenal. Rystar is my utmost favorite character ever since we met him in the beginning of Brie Submission series. Of course Brie and Sir are my first favorites. I enjoyed getting to know the young Rystar. Seeing the true friendship of the three dominants and how it all began is truly special and still is strong. Rystar’s story was a roller coaster of emotions. I hope to see Rystar get his happy ending one of these days in upcoming books. He’s by far my favorite dominant of all besides Sir Thane Davis. I can’t wait for Red’s next book. All her books are must reads.

What can I say about this book is wow this book is so good .... Rystar Durov story is so emotional you will learn everything he went through through the murder of the love of his life, to the gruesome murder of his mother, You will also find out what happened between him and Samantha who I hate more now that I know what she did to him .... I love that Thane has always been the brother he needs and loves as his own brothers are evil just like his father was.... I love that Rystar got his revenge against his father who deserved everything that Rystar did to him..... this book will make you cry so have a box of tissues with you......

The long awaited tale of Rystar's early years is finally here and it does not disappoint. Rystar has long been a favorite among Red Phoenix fans (I count myself among them] and his backstory is utterly mesmerizing. The unbreakable bond between Thane and Rystar is fully explained and explored. These two men who have endured unimaginable pain and heartache in their lives are truly brothers. There are several deeply emotional, tear inducing scenes that are heartbreaking. The truth is finally revealed about what really happened between Rystar and Samantha. It is quite shocking and explains so much about his attitude towards her.

Red Phoenix, I applaud you. You nailed this one!
