This is a roller coaster ride. It goes up and then down, goes up again then goes down. I thought I'll be reading something unexpected but it turns out it's what I'm expecting to happen.
Anyway the story is good. The writing is still great. TH story is a great series to follow. It's just that I'm just annoyed with the characters bitchiness. (Read the book if you want to know what I'm talking 😄).
I'm settling for a 4stars rating for a great story that is hinting something but never arrive in the target ending. I have ideas but I'll reserve it for the next installment.

Booth!
I loved this story! Booth and Jade are definitely a pair! Both are super stubborn! They both irritated me for it too. I wanted to smack both upside the head. And woah Noah and Landon! Ahh I can’t wait for that book!!! Glad it’s going to be next! Definitely recommend this book and series!

This is the ninth book in this series. They should be read in order. Booth is a guardian. He has watched those around him find their mate. He has helped train some of the females of the pride. Someone new has come to the pride, Jade O’Connor. Jade has come to the Shaw pride because of rumors she has heard that she the Shaw Pride is allowing female guardians. They aren’t. The females do help guard the pride but they are guardians. Neither Booth or Jade want t a mate but that doesn’t mean that they haven’t been given one. Both of them will struggle with wanting to touch the other. Booth would never touch Jade and force the mating on her. Jade must decide if wanting to be a guardian is more important that her feeling for Booth. I loved this book so much. Booth is forced to confront how he feels about his mate possibly being a guardian. Jade must face what she wants and what she is given. She is different than any of the other females in the Shaw pride. She is on par with the guardians. She really shakes up the pride. I can’t get enough of this series. Theresa is making a fantastic world. I can’t recommend this series enough. Congrats of another fantastic book Theresa.

Another 5 STAR read by Theresa Hissong! Definitely recommend!!!
I LOVE all of the books in this Rise of the Pride Series and Booth's book is no exception. I immediately fell in love with Jade and her strength, independence, determination and willingness to do whatever it takes to get what she wants. Like all of the mated women in the Shaw Pride, Jade is a warrior and certainly knows how to protect and defend herself, as well as others. As much as I love Jade, Liberty is still my favorite female....I think 😉 They're both feisty, strong and aren't afraid to speak their minds and I LOVE that! Booth is stubborn, like most of the males in the Shaw Pride, but he's also a loyal and caring man and how can you not love a man like that.....We all flaws. In the real world and yes, even in the wonderful fiction world of shifters that Theresa has created for our enjoyment! I don't want to give away any spoilers so I'll end my review by saying, how much I loved and enjoyed reading this book and I can't wait for the next book in this fantastic series that I have fallen in love with since the very first book, Talon.

Oh I hope you are ready for some amazing characters in this book. Booth who is a guardian for the pride has met his challenge. Booth is a very protective of the females of the pride but he respects the ones that want to help protect and learn to fight. Jade shows up to the Shaw Pride to ask to participate in the guardianship fights. Wait What!! OH YEAH, we got a tough female coming to shake things up. Not just with the pride but with Booth too. Jade is one of my favorite characters cause of her take not crap from anyone. However, she has some secrets that come out towards the end. It's a W. T. F. moment when all that comes out. Booth struggles with his feelings which makes him more real. I wonder what fate has in store for these two. I will say that I was totally worried about getting that HEA but we did.

Sucker for Supernatural Novels!
I’m a sucker for supernatural novels, and I absolutely love the Rise of the Pride series especially since the setting is in the South. Booth’s story didn’t disappoint. Booth and the other Pride members take care of their females and treat them with respect and includes them in decision making process for the group. Jade comes into the narrative from an abusive pride. She quickly understands the Shaw Pride is different. She’s tough as nails and smart which are two traits I look for in a book series; strong women characters. The chemistry between Booth and Jade is swoon worthy. If you’re looking for a shifter series, check out Theresa Hissong’s series.

This is Book 9 in the Rise of the Pride series. I swear these books just keep getting better and better! What a great book. Jade has left her old pride and come to the Shaw pride because of a rumor that the Shaw pride accepted female fighters. There she meets Booth. OMG!!! This is my favorite book in the series so far. Jade is awesome. She’s has so much inner strength that she sets out to make her dream come true. And Booth. I want Booth. There, I admitted it. He’s going to be my next book boyfriend. He’s stubborn and hard headed but pushes through his beliefs to do what Jade wants. This was so good. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good paranormal romance.

Booth has been a Guardian with the Pride for going on close to ten years. When he’s called into the Alpha’s office he is surprised to hear that they should be expecting a new arrival in the form of a female who wants Guardianship with the Shaw Pride. When Jade arrives, Booth’s Panther 🐆 is close to the surface and when he’s asked to train with her, they both can’t deny they might be mates....but neither is willing to touch the other due to their future goals😢
This was another fantastic story with some good old fashioned surprises I didn’t see coming💕 Looking forward to Noah and his HEA next😍

The best yet
We're now on book 9 and this is the best one yet. Booth is a stubborn s.o.b and needs a Mate who's as tough and stubborn as himself. Enter Jade, she comes from a different pride thinking that Talon allows females to become Guardians however she soon learns that's just a lie. When she and Booth meet sparks fly all over but they still refuse to touch each other. Jade decides to try a different pack to see if they will allow her to fight at the Solstice however she soon ends up in trouble. Will Booth be able to rescue her? Will they finally touch and mate? Find out in this epic battle of wills it's not to be missed

I loved this story!! I have read the entire series and have been waiting for this one! (And Noah's story) I think this series just gets better and better. Booth and Jade are quite a pair. Both trying to NOT find their mate and both knowing they are it for each other. Jade is a kick ass female and so passionate about her dreams to be the first female Guardian. Talon has some tough decisions to make for the pride and in the end stands by his principals. But is ever so slightly swayed by his mate Liberty's female perspective. A compromise and an HEA awaits!

Excellent!
Strong & fierce female character meets a strong & fierce male character & they both fight for something.
Jade is fighting for a place as a Guardian in any Pride as well as fighting the mating pull of 1 of the males in the Pride.
Booth is fighting the mating pull that he feels for Jade because he knows that she has to find her way.
& Talon, the Alpha is trying to prevent the strong females in his Pride from fighting in the Summer Solstice with the males go want to become Guardians.
Now you’ll have to read the book in order to find out who wins.

Everyone needs to grow, change, and evolve.
To not do so leads to being stagnant or to be trampled in the face of Life and society moving forward. Lucky for the Shaw pride they have an alpha that realizes this. With a warrior female and a male with a bit of a temper you have a story that involves growth, love , and some great sexy time.
I love the direction the pride is heading.
I cannot wait for the next one. I keep saying each one is my favorite. Booth is no exception.

But Talon has to stick to ancient laws or risk his mated Guardians going feral if their mates are injured while fighting during the ritual of the Summer Solstice yo find the next Guardians. Love the story even when Booth and Jade frustrated me to no end.

Loved this one
I love Booth he sounds like such a growly sexy panther. Not sure how I feel about Jade and the CHIP on her shoulder. The whole not touching thing went a bit far this time. I feel like the endings in every book thus far has been rushed. One of my favorite things about each book is watching the women come into their own. I recommend the series in order.

The Pride is rising up!
Jude reminds me of how I am sometimes! If I was a shifter, I'd like to be in the Shaw Pride!

Absolutely, Fantastic
Loved the story and it is so full of exciting twists and mystery that you will be on the edge of your seat and your knuckles will be white from holding on to the book so tightly. Absolutely loved it. Exciting and so good that I hated to see it end.

This is book 9 in the series and I have loved every one! Teresa Hissong does it again! Jade has such a strong personality I want to be her when I grow up lol she is the perfect mate for Booth. I love how Teresa brings in old characters and ties everything together.

Plopping this was awesome.
I love the way Theresa writes, the emotion seems so real you could touch them.
I loved reading this series, and can't wait for the next book.

Amazing
I was so glad to read this I loved that there was a strong woman who wanted to stand up and fight beside the men. It leaves the door open for the future the alphas daughter....

Booth the stubborn guardian
I found this book funny, but serious also. The stubbornness of these two panthers was funny, intriguing and scary. Such a great book. Am sad I have to wait for number 10 about Noah and his mate.

I thought Winter was a stubborn ass for taking so long to touch his mate bur damn Booth far surpassed him, and lets not forget Jade. Baddass female with the stubbornness equal to her mate. I loved their story.

I really enjoyed this book. Jade is one though panther. I loved how she stood up for herself. She held her own. Booth knew she was his mate but it they both fought it. They were perfect for each other!

This made me gulp a few times. Jade and Booth had a similar story as the others in that they were fighting the mate call, but different. Jade was tough. I was rooting for her all the way. I am definitely reading book 10. 🔥🔥🔥🔥/5
