Wow! What a spectacular end to an all consuming series! I loved the way the author weaved Caden and Greyson's tale. The series title really is appropriate because it had me on edge the whole way through. I had no idea what was happening at first. Then when things started to click in place, I still didn't know what was going to happen or how far the author was going to take these two. I don't think I've ever read a book so fast because I just needed to know how it all ended. This is one of those series that you just need to dive into. Trying to explain anything will take away from finding out on your own. It's dark, edgy, and a totally mind trip but it's trip you will want to take! ARC provided by author.

The Edge is not easy to write about, because I don’t want to spoil anything. I’ll let you read the blurbs and just tell you how it made me feel, which is off-balance. I felt completely, addictively and exhilaratingly off-balance during the entire series, because I had no idea where the story would go next. It was like I was teetering on the edge of something, but I wasn’t sure what, and I was never certain whether CD Reiss was about to push me over the ledge, so to speak. I had to trust her, and she didn’t fail me, and I can assure that you can trust her, too.
While The Edge is a suspenseful, psychological mind-bender, it’s an epic love story at its core with a thoroughly satisfying ending. It has a complex, labyrinth-like plot that will drive you to read it again and again in order to attempt to explore every cleverly crafted nuance. It’s tautly written, erotic, thought-provoking, intense and downright brilliant.

It's the conclusion to The Edge series and I've got to admit, I'm pretty sad about it. But I'm also thrilled. I love nothing more than to see characters fight hard for their happy ending. Caden and Greyson fought hard. One of the things I'll miss most about them is their connection. I've never seen the appeal of having your very existence hinge on someone else, but these two have shown me how beautiful it can be.

While there was tons of sex, sex, and more sex, this story still packed an emotional punch. My heart was aching for these two and what they were going through. The twists and turns that Greyson's mind travelled drove me nuts, her demeanor was off-putting, and the way she treated Caden upset me, but all of that spoke to how impressive I found the author's depiction of her predicament. I'm not sure how realistic it all was, but I know that it was poignant and compelling. This is on top of the intimacy between the characters. Their intimacy was almost tangible, that left the fictional air thick with wanting, which layered palpable tension throughout the read.
"You're everything, Greyson. My life with you is all I have. But the only way to protect you is to let you go." - Caden
Throughout this series, Caden and Greyson have been through hell and back. Thanks to experimentation, their sanity was put through the test. When things couldn't have looked more bleak, they both revealed how strong their bond was, how far they were willing to go to protect the other, and just much they really loved each other. How lucky were they to find someone who was truly their soulmate?
This was Caden. If I trusted anyone with my soul, it had to be him. I trusted him more than myself with my well-being. - Greyson
This couple still can't keep their hands off each other and I'm always down for that. However, when a simple touch could mean truly connecting with the one he loves and finding answers to past pain, Caden is willing to use his fabulous hands (and other appendages) to his advantage.
The tables have turned and Caden now fully realizes exactly what he put Greyson through. He's got his hands full, in a war zone, but he's more than capable.
Caden and Greyson endured pain and confusion and heartache and distress and seeming betrayal and yet they were able to push through. They not only pushed through, they freaking conquered. While I'm sad to see them go, I'm satisfied with their journey and where they ended up.

Greyson Frazier thought she saved her husband Caden St. John from a certain fate when she made a move that could risk her career. What she didn’t consider was how it could affect her as a person. Forced to face her demons, she must decide to let Caden in or gamble losing herself.
At the end of last book, I wondered which direction this one is going to go. What happened last time was interesting, however I felt it was repetitive here. It was something that I already experienced so it felt slow and detached.
However, I’m glad the pace picked up towards the end of the book. The revelation of Greyson’s past added layers to her character and made the story more engaging.
Over The Edge is the conclusion of The Edge series. It’s recommended to readers looking for a sexy romance with element of suspense.
Note: I have a soft spot for that one character. I wanted to know more about his issue/situation.

Faced with her need, maybe I had the strength. I wouldn’t abandon her. Maybe I was the one unfolding.

In the final book of the series and without interruption in the timeline, Caden and Greyson face more conflict that tests their relationship as well as their own limits. Using the knowledge they have from Caden’s ordeal, they try to apply it to Greyson’s circumstances, but due to her condition, more layers of complexity are revealed. Showing the lengths they will fight for each other, their love knows no bounds.
“This wasn’t working. My fears had no boundaries. Fears with shape and weight were the demons of a sound mind.”
From the beginning, Caden and Greyson didn’t have it easy as a married couple but they believed in a greater connection. As the plot unfolds with Greyson’s trauma, the direction takes a turn yielding deeply hidden secrets. While Caden and Greyson share an intense sexual connection, it spurs on change that propels them forward.
“Fuck all the lines. Draw me a million fucking lines, and I’ll cross all of them to get to you.”
In starting this finale, I had certain hopes of twists rounding out the journey of Caden and Greyson. While these characters are incredibly strong and yet flawed, the pacing started to feel bit rushed toward the end which lessened the impact. However, the intimacy Caden and Greyson share is consistently magnetic and palpable. In true CD Reiss fashion, these two characters present a multitude of dimension and battle to overcome challenges. The limits pushed added to the breathability of the overall plot.
Over the Edge is a unique and edgy exploration of romance that examines love, commitment and emotional health.

Explosive ride from start to finish!!
To say this story is totally unlike anything I’ve ever read before would be an understatement. I’m not sure how to even describe it as so much happens, and it seems to touch on so many elements, themes, and subjects. Wonderfully written with plenty of action and passion, amazing characters/personalities, along with true, real life players makes this a huge winner in my eyes. I get totally caught in the whirlwind that is Greyson and Caden’s life, and ride the roller coaster of emotions. This couple couldn't seem to catch a break. It was so touching seeing how they truly loved each other. And their chemistry was off-the-charts HOT. Over the Edge was a perfect finale to this incredible, addicting series, and I loved it. Simply brilliant!

This last book in the series opened up and went full throttle. It pushed boundaries and took extreme liberties. So much that I found I couldn’t really appreciate this last book. It was the journey that Caden and Greyson took in the book that really didn’t do it for me. Too extreme and too rushed.
I loved the intense and passionate relationship that Caden and Greyson exhibited throughout the first three book. Not to say that book four didn’t have the intensity, it just used a trigger that felt extreme for the sake of being extreme. I really had a hard time believing. It’s really hard to discuss the area I had an incident with for doing so would spoil the plot of the entire series. So I will leave it at that.
Also, this book felt rushed to me because it was the last book and everything needed resolution. It just felt too easy that this one book was able to resolve all that was going on in this book. Besides Greyson, there was also Ronin who had an incident. It was felt too much in my mind.
So while I did love Caden and Greyson, this last book I didn’t quite love. It saddens me to say so but it is what it is.
Would I recommend this series, yes of course. Even though this last book wasn’t all that I wanted, the author’s extraordinary writing is definitely worth reading. There are many many reviews who love this last book and thought it was perfect. So maybe it’s just a case of me.

Intense.... Dramatic.... 'Over the Edge,' is the highly anticipated conclusion to THE EDGE 4-part novella series. It kept me guessing about what was happening and what the finale outcome would be, until the very end.
Caden and Greyson are the protagonists that take centre stage throughout. I became highly engaged with the series, invested in them as a couple and interested in their individual histories.
Part 4 is the fallout from the dramatic **WHY DID SHE DO THAT??** event from part 3. The consequences are far reaching and, in the end, pivotal to the conclusion of the story that perhaps ultimately felt very slightly rushed towards the end and constructed to allow all the story pieces to fall into place. However, maybe this had to be the case to maintain the pacey, highly dramatic style of the narrative. The conclusion has certainly provided lots and lots of book chat with my fellow bookies.
Loaded with sexual scenes where the chemistry of the protagonists is palpable, I felt their passion, their love, their trust and their loyalty leaving no doubt that the main characters and their relationship is crafted perfectly with development and engaging personalities. A high-octane story that will keep readers guessing until the end.

There is something about the way C.D. Reiss writes which causes me to take more risks under her guidance then any other author. There are certain elements which I know will always be there...A very strong relationship between the main characters, chemistry which will be so intense it could combust at any moment, eroticism of all types and complexity through out.
The other constant is the level of writing and research of the subjects she has chosen. C.D. does nothing half way and this series proves it.
Over the Edge starts exactly where we were left in the last book. Greyson made a split second decision, one motivated by her undying love for her husband Caden. She knew she needed to act fast, protect him the only way it would guarantee his safety.
There was no real choice in the matter because when you love someone truly, this is the decision that will be made time and time again. Couples do not have to be in a war zone to make these types of choices... they occur daily in everyday life...But in this particular situation, Greyson and Caden are in an environment which heightens everything...and the ramifications will be extreme.
This series cannot be read out of order or willy-nilly. It is something which needs commitment just like the type of commitment this married couple had for each other. It certainly had Ms. Reiss' and she was fully immersed in being true to herself and the project.
This series touches on many things. Many are dark, many spotlighting the military, private companies which provide services with deployed units, the aftermath of serving and what these men and women have sacrificed. It also includes other war time heroes; the families of these soldiers. The spouses, male and female, all serve with those over seas. There experiences are equally important to all of us and should be acknowledged for their sacrifices.
C.D. Reiss focused forward by writing with the same abandon she had done in the past with the Songs of Submission series. It takes talent and guts to bring these types of stories to life the way she does. Because of her skills and passion to "getting it right" we are there for her every time.

I am continually astounded by the remarkable and glorious writing of C. D. Reiss. The “Edge” series is a rich, sexy, entertaining and thought-provoking tour de force in my honest and most humble opinion. It is at the same time both sophisticated literature and dirty-dark popular romance. As you read this work, you can lose yourself in the searing sexuality and/or you can glimpse the author’s true brilliance…maybe a little of her lovely soul...filled with the promise that love does indeed matter and not only can… but ultimately will…conquer all.
What I ultimately received from reading this series were not only hours of entertainment pleasure but days of thinking about war, sacrifice, trauma, mental health, the nature of romantic love…the power of connection through sexual intimacy…the pain/pleasure dynamic. Tucked into the pages of this series in the narrative of the story told to us through the POVs of Caden and Greyson…between the lines even…are the author’s profound ideas beautifully expressed through the plot points as our characters weather the harrowing battlefields and the human misery of the war in Iraq, the agenda of a military contractor whose business is making money from war, a confused, zealot-like, rogue, psychological operations officer/contractor civilian, and the need to relive their own past personal traumas.

The language is rhythmic and musical; at times the use of repeated words create a feeling of motion. I never once felt lost in a complex telling of the story. All the expressed introspection of the characters felt revelatory and exciting to read. I never felt an urge to skim. I wanted and read every word on the page.
I need to edit myself at this point. There are so many ideas this book sparked in my mind I really could go on and on. I will leave you with the most cherished idea I discovered in reading this final book. It is about the one certainty in all the questions, dilemmas, uncertainties and trauma life can bring so beautifully expressed through Caden’s words offering reassurances to Greyson…

I am continually astounded by the remarkable and glorious writing of C. D. Reiss. The “Edge” series is a rich, sexy, entertaining and thought-provoking tour de force in my honest and most humble opinion. It is at the same time both sophisticated literature and dirty-dark popular romance. As you read this work, you can lose yourself in the searing sexuality and/or you can glimpse the author’s true brilliance…maybe a little of her lovely soul...filled with the promise that love does indeed matter and not only can… but ultimately will…conquer all.
What I ultimately received from reading this series were not only hours of entertainment pleasure but days of thinking about war, sacrifice, trauma, mental health, the nature of romantic love…the power of connection through sexual intimacy…the pain/pleasure dynamic. Tucked into the pages of this series in the narrative of the story told to us through the POVs of Caden and Greyson…between the lines even…are the author’s profound ideas beautifully expressed through the plot points as our characters weather the harrowing battlefields and the human misery of the war in Iraq, the agenda of a military contractor whose business is making money from war, a confused, zealot-like, rogue, psychological operations officer/contractor civilian, and the need to relive their own past personal traumas.

I think my favorite book in the series was book 0.5, the prequel. The most "normal" book of the series. This finale ended in a HEA. But it seemed unreal. In some ways, it would have been more poignant if the 2 main characters died. They were f***ed up! Made me tired reading about their drama and trauma and honestly, do you have to drag out one memory for a whole entire book? Because the previous 2 books already laid the foundation of the Bicam drug and its effects, besides Grey's memory, there was nothing new. Just monotonous back and forth interspersed with sex.
It got old.
The ending felt fake.

This final installment of The Edge series was one hell of a ride. I buckled up and was ready cause with how the previous book ended I knew Over The Edge would come at me with 100mph and I was right. Greyson and Caden’s love is forever and they will do anything for one another. Greyson proved and showed that in the previous three books and culminated with the ending of Broken Edge. She took a drug that was intended for Caden and now all bets were off.
How would Greyson react to something that wasn’t meant for her and would she remain the woman Caden knows and loves? Over The Edge continues right where Broken Edge ended. With Greyson taking the BiCam shot. This time around it’s Caden’s turn to stand by his love and do whatever it’s in his power to bring his woman back cause he slowly sees different sides to this woman that isn’t Greyson. Or are they?
There were so many thrilling scenes in Over The Edge and especially the reason for why Greyson is the way she is sexually. I was biting my nails cause the way CD Reiss unveiled Greyson’s past hidden trauma was done meticulously and flawlessly. I had no idea where the story was going, all I knew was Caden and Greyson’s love was strong and could survive anything.

So the last book in the series fell a bit flat for me. But overall, this series was excellent. I've avoided this author for some time, knowing that her books were unsafe, but I'm glad I got to be reacquainted with Ms Reiss's writing. She's an excellent writer and her character development is always on point. And even better, this series was safe from cheating and OW/OM drama, so yay!!!! The hero and heroine were outstanding MC's. The author actually had them communicate with each other instead of being angsty teenagers. -- Overall this series gets 5 stars.
As I was saying, the last book fell a bit flat. I loved reading about the hero's split personality but grew tired of the concept when the same thing happens to the heroine and then the villain. It was too much of a good thing. Props to the author for writing an original plot!

What an ending to a exquisite and masterful series. I was enthralled and devoured these book in mere days. A truly complex and intense read.
I was literally hanging on the 𝙀𝘿𝙂𝙀 with every word. C.D. Reiss is quite the storyteller. I was drawn in and couldn't let go until I finished my journey with Caden and Greyson.
Wow, what a couple. They had an all consuming love. They loved each other through the good and the bad. They struggled. They hurt. They ached. They trusted. They overcame. They were one unit. One team. Their love surpassed everything. They were perfect.
This series will stay with me for awhile. Wow! Just WOW!

This review is by far the most difficult I've had to write. This entire series is far above my reader scale, so I hope I don't fall short in my attempt to analyse it.
The story is so large and so loaded, it has its own trajectory. Like a meteor hurtling towards the earth, the inevitable annihilation approaching, i could feel the crisis building up, climax almost writhin reach and yet I didn't know how it would end, the continuous mystery kept the danger alive and pulsating. it's heavily pregnant with fatigue and stress that the military personnel go through on a daily basis, the root cause of PTSD. This up, close and personal view is scary and dreadful and substantiates the immediate need to end the fruitless wars all over the world. The aftermath in losses and damages are just not worth it.

Take my eyes, my ears, I’d still be me. But my sanity?”
“Who am I?”
Brain is merely 2% of total body weight,but the most complex and still uncharted and understudied organ of the human body. I can almost visualise christine with a magnifying glass, studying her subject matters' brains with a forceps in hand, looking in folds and crevices, pulling out threads of thoughts from their minds. She certainly has the ability to analyze and scrutinise shreds of emotions lying hidden in the nooks and crannies of the personality which could easily be overlooked by a simpler author, yet Christine's professional eyes catch them.
She was out of her mind. Free of sound judgment. Listening to voices that wanted her to act without thinking.
The difference between us was that for the moment, I was sane.
Are you? Are we? Are any of us?
Greyson has volunteered to be in clear and present danger at the end of book 3, the repercussions can be felt in this book. Threat is looming large like a sandstorm in this final chapter of the series. The sentiments are running amok, Greyson is edgy and shifty. Caden is feeling helpless and incapable. His lack of knowledge puts him on a back foot of competence, so confidence is his only tool to fight against this invisible enemy threatening to explode in Greyson's body and ultimately destroying their marriage.
My ignorance without confidence would break me.
Confidence without knowledge of my ignorance would break her.
Caden's love for her is unparalleled and indisputable. That's a given, but that also brings more responsibility and onus on him to protect her, not let go of her hand as she could be lost forever in the military experimental paperwork. I loved Caden and his dogged loyalty and sum total love that had him following Grayson over the edge of sanity, metaphorically and physically.

Caden holds her hand all the way into the darkness to pull her back into the light. I wish I could be Greyson for this book, even at the cost of losing my mind
“Who is it then? Because this is the real me. The other one is a shadow of me. Maybe a subset of things I haven’t done. Or have done. Or the bits I don’t like… or traits I don’t use… the waste all bundled up and shoved into the light. But she’s not me.”
Which brings me to the real malady. What if we could identify, seperate and seclude all the bad characteristics of our personalities and since we can't throw them out like garbage, we isolate them in a subdivision of our psyche. That part becomes an entity on it's own and what we have now is another personality living inside the same body.
Respite. A reprieve. A suspended sentence. And the name of mental discomfort. The name of its opposite.
It's one of the most toughest topic to even understand fully, Christine goes a step further and puts into a simpler context for us to decipher. I had to read hundreds of lines & passages twice, then pm her to feel & fully understand the intense impact of them
Her nuances are like pin pricks. They are physically just few mm in mass, but you can see the immense emotion and the sentiments hiding behind them. When Grayson talks about respite she says, "she's lying, Damon was unreliable, she's unreliable. she's manipulating you."

Ahhhhhhh! That's the first thread, which Caden grabs and starts pulling. I swear i was shitting bricks as I raced towards the end, I didn't know how she will tie up the story, how does everyone get out of this fog !!!!. And then there's the heartstopping BOMBSHELL !!

she did not......oh yes SHE DID😱😰! I couldn't believe what I was reading !!!
I'm dumbfounded! She makes me feel things that I didn't know I could feel she makes me see things I didn't know I could see and that's the ability of a genius author. Having said that, she also is pretty cruel when she toys with us, and her characters.
But what a fitting finale, a masterpiece comes to a deserving ending.
Of the characters, Caden is typically Reiss Alpha. He's take charge, strong, analytical, besotted man.
Greyson is strong, supportive, sacrificing and submitting. Her world is shielded by the blue sky, which resides in Caden's eyes. I mean how blindingly romantic is that!
But I have to mention here the unsung hero of the story. Older brother Jake. He's in the background but his sibling support and loyalty keeps him in the foreground always.
“I’ve been taking sniper courses. They make us think of them as targets. Not people. Like if we tell a part of ourselves that it’s really a person, it poisons the part that does the shooting. But I don’t know. I don’t know if I can do it. After this, I don’t know if I can lie to myself.”
Hats off, salute to him! He is a one man salvage and rescue team though things don't go as planned for Grayson, but that's a whole another story.
Everything was clear. And real. Clicking into place— Forgiveness matched with responsibility. Sorrow with hope.
Contentment with worry.
Death with love.
Acceptance with elation.
Caden with Greyson.
And for the record- you DIDN'T push the credulity too far in this or anything!💐

It is definitely one of those reads that you devour in one sitting. Since I practically inhaled this book, I will just say Reiss will take you on one sinful erotic journey but at the same time an emotional one. All I can say is go read this book and series as Reiss showcases how far one goes to fight for their happily ever after.

The finale. So awaited with great patience.
Actually that's a lie I haven't been patiently waiting, quite the opposite. I'm not a patient person especially when having to wait for something I wanted as badly as this.
I devoured this book the second I got the notification it had downloaded. And what a thrill it was.
We start right where we left off, just after Greyson took Caden's shot.
I won't say what happens just that you'll love where this book takes the story. For the first time we know exactly what Caden went through. We also see Greyson and Caden switch positions. With Greyson experiencing "the split" and Caden helpless to do anything for her.
Of course CD Reiss weaves the story perfectly keeping us hooked from the beginning to the end. I literally couldn't put it down.

Oohhhhhh emmmmm geeeeeee!
This book. These characters. THIS SERIES is one of the best I've read this year. It was one hell of a messy ride, but worth every single, crazy bump in the road! YES, YES, YES!
We begin Over the Edge where Broken Edge left off, with our jaws hanging open and wondering what in the hell was going to be in store for Greyson and Caden. CD Reiss delivers on so many levels words can't do their story justice. They continue to be intense, honest and real in their relationship. Nothing has come easy for Greyson and Caden, so why should this final installment be any different, right?!?! IT'S NOT. I wouldn't expect anything different given the journey CD Reiss has taken us on with this unconventional couple.
The love these two share bleeds, bleeds off the pages until the very end. They continue to show us how nothing, NOTHING else matters but their love for one another. We begin Over the Edge where Broken Edge left off, with our jaws hanging open and wondering what in the hell was going to be in store for Greyson and Caden. CD Reiss delivers on so many levels words can't do their story justice. They continue to be intense, honest and real in their relationship. Nothing has come easy for Greyson and Caden, so why should this final installment be any different, right?!?! IT'S NOT. I wouldn't expect anything different given the journey CD Reiss has taken us on with this unconventional couple.
The love these two share bleeds, bleeds off the pages until the very end. They continue to show us how nothing, NOTHING else matters but their love for one another. Six-stars-to-the-final conclusion-of-the-Edge-Series!
As promised, I wasn't going to leave anything but only AFTER the series have finally come to a complete end. I'm feeling torn between satisfaction for the conclusion while at the same time , saddened for the ending of this dark, beloved series. It is, without a doubt, that I have been invested with Grayson and Caden since the prelude of the Edge installment and I couldn't break away from the trance they've lured me in, even if I wanted to.

"I do," I said. "Before you, I was sure of everything. I had it all worked out. Now, because of you, I don't know anything. I'm lost in my own life, and I love you for it."
I'm so in love with this neanderthal, alpha, sexy military surgeon Caden. He's intense, strong and capable beyond means. He might have it all figured it out but only after meeting Grayson, he couldn't imagine a life without her in his life. He needed her. Only Grayson. He had his own skeletons in his closet and was close to losing it but with her being his only anchor, he surfaced from his fucked up past and slowly faced his own version of demons.
"You're the one indisputable thing in my life. The only thing I live for. It's you, baby. You're gravity. You're the sky. You're the air. You're the first breath in the morning and my dreams at night. I'm sure of you because you're mine."
I have always admired the sturdy and collected Grayson since I started the book. There was something deep and intense with her but she starts her persona as subtle and subdue yet we see an active side from her throughout the series that continues to surprise me- as the fanatic reader as well as Caden, her husband.
It's so mind-blowing how Over the Edge started its story line, focusing on Grayson when we were practically glued to Caden mostly the duration of the installment series.
"She was mine. At every stage of her life. Before she even knew she had a soul mate. Before she even desired one. Every facet of her personality and every spark of every neuron in her brain belonged to me. Mine."

So the moment I was dreading has finally arrived. The review for the final installment of CD Reiss’ mind (and panty) melting series, The Edge. Dreading it mostly because the moment I post this review, this journey will be finally and irrevocably over, and I am just not ready to let this couple and their world go. Spending time in it has changed me – as a reader and a woman. I’ll never think about relationships quite the same way again. And that's the way of CD Reiss - she changes your perspective in her own beautiful, raw, lyrical style.
The first three books have been driven by Greyson, the psychiatrist. Patiently guiding us through a slow, almost painful dissembling of a broken Caden while single handedly holding their marriage together as she finds a new side of herself. And their story unfolds much the same way a psychiatrist would deal with a patient, steadily and deliberately, the pacing and structure acting as an anchor for all of the emotional turmoil battering the St. John – Frazier marriage. Through that journey, Greyson manages to save him, and their love, creating a stronger, whole Caden thanks to the sheer force of her love and devotion. And at the end of Broken Edge she went to the brink to protect him. Her action was so impulsive it stretched the boundaries of devotion like a rubber band.
Now it’s Caden’s turn to step up to the plate. Can he save Greyson before her devotion snaps from the strain, breaking them both?
Just like the beast of a trauma surgeon that he was born to be, he does it – his way. He’s so perfectly wrought. The balance of his cool, surgical detachment and the deep well of emotion he’s finally allowed to reemerge rings so true. Still waters truly run deep and you get that sense on every page. His declarations of love are so soul wrenchingly matter of fact, they settle in your blood and bones. The feeling is so primal.
Over the Edge is “go time” and all Caden. Yes, we get Greyson’s story of buried pain and loss, but it’s like that moment when the monitors go haywire and the patient starts crashing. The time for patience and reflection is over. It’s time to cut. Find the bleeder and fix it. Ms. Reiss’ subtle brilliance shines through once again, using compartmentalized, spare plotting and an almost frenetic pace to recreate the “zone” a trauma surgeon steps into when he’s the only thing tethering his patient to their life and loved ones.
This series didn’t just live up to its promise, it exploded all of my expectations. It's a stunning, operatic story that should be on every romance reader's shelf. I’ve spent the last four months asking what did I just read? Now I’m screaming “I NEED MORE”.

What an epic ending of this amazing series!! is dark, intriguing and the main characters definitely bring this story alive..
We finally get to see what happens with Caden and Greyson, after the last book we were left with a few unanswered questions but Over the Edge definitely, tells everything we've been wondering.
I really was speechless with how everything turned out.. so many things that I didn't expect. Greyson's change was one of them and it was brilliant because in a way, it gives the story a balance between the two characters.. in this book we get to see how Greyson reacts to this changes and why she decided to do that, to go to the dark side or the shadow side.. for her it was more important to save what she loved the most and she wasn't ready for anyone to mess around with her mans mind..
"I Can't take this. I Can't take another minute. I Can't live in my own head anymore. I don't know who I am or what I think. I'm at my limit. I Can't take it. I'll do anything to make it stop"
Greyson was fearless, bold and strong when it came to Caden.. for her nothing was more important than her Husband. Caden was first, their love was first, and that's what made their love so good..
"This was Caden. If I trusted anyone with my soul, it has to be him. I trusted him more than myself with my well-being."
In Over the Edge, we get to see other sides of the main Characters. Greyson is now experiencing what she fought before.. she is fighting her own demons but also fighting to save her marriage, her love, her life.. She was the one helping before, now is her turn to seek help, she has to dig deeper to find a solution to save herself... Greyson was more "vulnerable" in this book especially when she was lurking on the other side, on the dark shadows .. she kept that vulnerability open for Caden to find her.. even though her shadow was trying so hard to keep her and him in the dark with her silence and aggressiveness..
"She was mine to protect. Mine to heal and love. No one should hurt her. Ever. Note me. Not her. No one should ever breach her wishes with their own"
Caden character is also not the exception, we get to see another side of him.. He is finally out of the shadows and this time is his turn to help and guide Greyson, she put herself in the line of fire and now Caden is ready to save her from her own self. In Over the Edge, Caden feels stronger, but at the same time more vulnerable watching the love of his life going through something he knew very well and still can't understand.. `He is now helping Greyson, trying to come out of the shadows and finally be with him..

Unfortunately this final installment of the compelling Edge series missed the brilliant mark for me. I have been captivated and completely invested in these characters and the psychological plot surrounding them from the beginning. In Over the Edge I felt just as invested in these two characters because of the established feelings from the previous books. The two of them together are a case study in sex, romance, and complex feelings that I really love and thoroughly enjoyed being an intimate part of. The intense need to know how their story ends coupled with the potency and resilience of their story had me hooked just the same as always. And once again, Reiss proves her writing clout with her unique style of storytelling. The plot however fell short here for me. It felt rushed and turned the whole arc of the series completely on its head. And where we had 3 prior books to really feel the ongoing plot with what happened in book four we had no time to adjust. The flip, no pun intended, here felt much more fast-paced and less developed. It was almost like a race to the very abrupt finish. Being so invested in the characters and a sucker for a good epilogue kept me engaged enough to enjoy the book I was just incapable of basking in it like the preceding books. The series as a whole provides an intriguing and psychologically interesting story and themes that I definitely recommend to readers. C.D. Reiss always provides concise, engaging writing with characters who crawl under your skin and stay there permanently.

WOW, just WOW! What a spectacular end to an all consuming series. I loved the way this author weaved Caden and Greyson's remarkable tale. The series title really is appropriate because all four books had me on edge the whole way through.
I had no idea what was happening in that first book, but the intensity of the story held me in a death grip. Through all four books, the magnitude and fierceness of the story kept me breathless with anticipation. Even when things started to click into place, I still didn't know what was going to happen or how far the author was going to take these two characters. I haven't read a book or a series with so much want in a long time, but I just needed to know how it all ended. This is one of those series that you just need to dive into. Trying to explain anything will take away from finding out on your own. It's dark, edgy, and a total mind trip, but it's a trip you will want to take!
The Edge is not easy to write about. I felt completely, addictively and exhilaratingly off-balance during the entire series. It was like I was teetering on the edge of something, but I wasn’t sure what, and I was never certain whether the author was about to push me over the ledge. I had to trust her, and she didn’t fail me. I can assure that you can trust her too.
While The Edge is a suspenseful, psychological mind-bender, it’s an epic love story at its core, with a thoroughly satisfying ending. It has a complex, labyrinth-like plot, with cleverly crafted nuances. It’s tautly written, erotic, thought-provoking, intense and downright brilliant.

I thought I was prepared for this conclusion, but I wasn’t. I thought it was going to go down a certain way, but it didn’t. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it about half way in because there’s a lot that happens, all I kept thinking was whoa, what now? Seriously, what the french toast is going on now?! But I just kept reading and trusting that it was going to be all okay and once everything unfolded, my mind was blown! I said it before and I’ll say it again, this would make a fantastic movie. This whole series is absolutely amazing. It’s different, twisty as hell and totally not predictable. And that right there is some stellar storytelling I tell you!
