Cute, cheesy and short read. Virgin heroine, experienced hero. Adorable epilogue. Very steamy! The writing is well done and the characters are likable.

"Stripped Bare" is the story of Karis and Eli.
A sweet insta love story between a hired renovator and his new baker client. She has been recently dumped, and is looking for some repairs in her shop. The hero enters her life, growls and pushes her away, comes back and rescues her, makes sweet loveee and they have their HEA.

What a great start to a new series. If you like short and insta everything stories you cannot go wrong with these two authors.
Eli is the best kind of big brother so when his sister calls him asking for him to help her friend fix the mess made of her bakery there is no way that he will say no. But once he sees Karis all thoughts of work are banished and all he can think is he wants a taste of her cupcakes. He knows that he will do anything to make this woman’s dreams come true.
Karis hasn’t had the best luck recently after her so called boyfriend agreed to help her fix up her bakery takes off with most of her savings and a lot of work needs to be done to save her dream. When her best friend get her brother to help it seems as if she can finally have her dream and once she sees Eli she knows she wants him to live the dream with her but would he be interested in a curvy girl like her or will he be like all the rest and leave her disappointed.
Sugary sweet story with a steamy interludes. Safe read that can be read in one sitting. Can’t wait for more in the Hammers and Veils series. 3.5 * read for me.

Stripped bare is book one of the hammers and veils series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Eli meets Karis Quinn, his sister’s best friend when his sister calls in a favour. When Eli’s sister asks him to help repair/renovate her best friends bakery, he isn’t happy. That all changes when he meets Karis Quinn. From the moment he see’s her, she becomes his. Having been burnt recently by love, Karis is wary of trusting Eli but she does feel a connection to her best friends older brother.
The chemistry between Eli and Karis is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Eli loves his little sister and he would do just about anything for her. So when she asks him to help her friend, Karis, fix up her bakery he is obliged to do the job. When Eli walks into the bakery, he sees the job is a lot more than he signed up for. But when he lays eyes on Karis, all thoughts about the work go out the window. He would do anything to help this pretty girl.

I picked this book up at night before I went to bed. I thought I would read just a couple of chapters since I was exhausted and had a big day the next day. When I saw that it would only take me 45 minutes to read, I decided to just go for it. I think even if the book was 2 hours to read, I may have stayed up to read it.
This is a fast paced novel that goes from strangers to naked very quickly. If you're looking for a quick romance that will leave you hot and bothered, pick up this book right away.

This was a quick read and I really enjoyed it! Super sexy and insanely sweet. We got insta love and an OTT romance thrown together in a cupcake shop. I loved these two together and can’t wait to read the rest of the short stories in this series!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book through BookSprout. Wow what a steamy, deliciously sexy and fun, quick read. I loved Eli and Karis they were sweet together and the chemistry was off the charts smoldering hot! Eli doing is baby sister a huge favor by helping out one of her friends in need and when these two meet the feelings are crazy fast. He’s going to do his best to keep his hands to himself and get the work done on her bakery so she can open, but the pull to each other is undeniable, but Eli can’t mix business with pleasure even though all he can think about is Karis and all the things he wants to do to her, but the little cupcake has a teeny weeny little secret and when he’s enlightened with that piece of information, he doesn’t handle himself in the best way. There is no way these two will be able to stop what’s happening between them, but when Karis’s ex shows up everything is about to change for both of them. No spoilers here, this is a quick read you don’t want to miss out on, and I can’t wait to see what these two amazing authors have in store for us next. Loved their story and I highly recommend this book.

Sweet read. Karis has a bakery she is trying to get renovated, but falls on hard times when her ex-boyfriend steals her money and doesn’t finish the job. Eli is there to fix and complete the renovation for his sister. As soon as these two see each other, they are smitten. He tries to resist her when he finds out she’s a virgin...yeah, that last about a hot second.
This was a safe read. No ow drama, a little incident with her ex, but Eli was there to protect her. A virgin baker, with her handy man. These two were sweet. I have to say that I loved their use of salty...multiple times, cracked me up and I loved it. Baby batter, epilogues...plural and an hea.

Eli is a carpenter/partner in a carpenter business. He usually behind the scene job. But one of the partners is on his honeymoon so it's up to his to help out on the jobs.

This is my first foray with these authors and I'm excited with the result. This novella has the right kind of smut with an insta-lust, a gruff alpha male who knows how to use his most powerful tools and a baker girl who wants to be loved the right way.
Karis and Eli hit it off in the middle of a construction site chaos and the smell of cupcakes. Love the names of their businesses, so perfectly in tune and funny.
Amidst icing sugar and pink decorations, the big construction boss nails his job and something else with the redhaired owner of the bakery. I especially liked his first impression of her and how adorably attracted they act to each other. They are a bit unsure at the start, but then all the passion explodes and the happily ever after never ends.
I think I’m going to keep reading this series.

This is the first book in a new series from this talented duo. Karis is the owner of a bakery, and when she is let down by an ex, Eli’s sister convinced him to step in and help renovate the bakery. There is an instant attraction between these two. This is a well written story which is humorous, fun, steamy and an all round entertaining read. I recommend for all readers.

I am drawn to handyman storylines especially if there is a double entendre in the novel titles. They often provide humour material (not always deliberately) that I can use at work. Home Depot, Hardware & Tools department, shared mostly with peers. Sadly, handyman fantasies have lessened since my employment there.

Short story with heat. I would have liked more background on the characters and more to the story in general. Eli is talked into doing a construction job by his sister for her friend. When he arrives, the work that had been done was much worse than he imagined. However, out steps the bakery owner, Karis, who is beautiful and sexy. Her previous boyfriend had taken her money, done a horrible job, and skipped out on her. What happens when the sparks fly between Karis and Eli? What happens when her ex shows back up and demands more money? Will Eli get more than he bargained for?

Eli would do anything for his baby sister, so he agrees to help her friend, Karis, who needs help fixing up her bakery after her ex-boyfriend steals her money and doesn't finish the remodeling job. Once Eli walks into the bakery, he realizes the job is much more than he signed up for and won't be paid for a lot of the work he will have to do, but one look at Karis has Eli willing to do anything to help. Eli and Karis are attracted to each other from the moment they see each other. The chemistry is scorching hot and burns like a wild fire, but Karis being a virgin has Eli running in the other direction. What happens when Karis' ex shows up? Will Karis forgive Eli for how he reacted to her being a virgin? Karis and Eli are great together with an amazing chemistry that burns HOT! I loved Stripped Bare by CM Seabrook and Frankie Love. Stripped Bare is a great story about instant attraction, great chemistry, and a strong connection. Stripped Bare is a super sweet, sexy read. I would definitely recommend getting Stripped Bare by CM Seabrook and Frankie Love.

Eli gets talked into finishing off a job in a bakery by his sister as he walks in he knows it’s not finishing it off it’s ripping it down and starting again. Karis has dreamt of owning her own bakery she thought her dream had come true but her now ex boyfriend started the job and then took off with her money. When Eli first meets Karis he knows he needs her and not just now but for keeps so when things get hot and steamy in the kitchen and they both eager to have sex until Karis admits she is a virgin and Eli backs off saying first time should be special he has upset Karis. She can’t believe what happened and can’t sleep so is early making cupcakes when her ex boyfriend walks in grabbing hold of her and demanding the rest of his money luckily Eli turns up and gets rid of her ex he has left bruises on her arms he is her protector. Eli wants to make up for how he treated her they go on a date then back to his where she doesn’t leave for a few days. Eli finishes off the shop but also has other plans which are marrying Karis and starting a life together

This book is Handyman to Husband! This was a cute and sweet story. This is about Karis and Eli. The story starts with Eli being lured into his future without him knowing as his sister has pulled on his giving heart strings to help out her friend Karis. She lets him know that the Karis ex took advantage of her and took full payment for the job and left. He was being nice to do the work for way less that she had already paid out, but when he walked in the door and observed everything needing to be done, he swore under his breath until he took one look at Karis and that made up for any lost money. It was super cute especially as she still has her v-card and now she is having second thoughts on holding this card too dear to her heart. Eli is a superhero here, I love what he does to protect the woman he instantly fell in love with. This was a cute story and I love how it ended especially what happened in the church…. Will there be a continuation with the other Nailed It Construction crew, Colton, Porter and Mason????

This story is cute and sexy - an insta-love but very short about 50 pages. This story is about Eli and Karis. They were immediately attracted and had smokin hot chemistry. Eli is helping his baby sister’s friend helping her with her bakery shop so she can open so he is doing the honourable thing and trying to keep his hands to himself but he can’t stop obsessing about Kari. The story is sweet and well written. My issue is the length and price. In Canada, this book is $4.00 and you get about 50 pages. Personally, I like both authors but I don’t believe a good story can be told in 50 pages. For me, it’s a few chapters, a glimpse but is not properly titled. There is no information to let the reader know they are getting a tiny story for a regular book price. It’s not even a novella in my mind. So, for that reason, I would give 3.5 but I like these authors so I’m giving the story a 4 star rate but I do take issue with the price and lack of pages. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book.

Cupcakes, curves and alpha-males. This was a rather tasty, fast paced short story telling the tale of insta-love in all its glory.
What was only supposed to be him finishing off an uncompleted job as a favour for his sister turns into a major workload for Eli but he finds himself enamoured with the cute, curvy bakery owner which makes the work ahead more worthwhile than he initially thought it would be, feelings between the pair take root at rapid speed with life changing circumstances neither of them saw coming.
If you’ve got a sweet tooth this read will be the perfect escapism for you.

Cupcakes, curves and alpha-males. This was a rather tasty, fast paced short story telling the tale of insta-love in all its glory.
What was only supposed to be him finishing off an uncompleted job as a favour for his sister turns into a major workload for Eli but he finds himself enamoured with the cute, curvy bakery owner which makes the work ahead more worthwhile than he initially thought it would be, feelings between the pair take root at rapid speed with life changing circumstances neither of them saw coming.
If you’ve got a sweet tooth this read will be the perfect escapism for you.

Settle yourself down and know that you're going to end up enjoying this fun and , sometimes, filthy latest story from C.M. Seabrook and Frankie Love. Now this is the first in the new series, Hammers and Veils Book , by them that I'm looking forward to reading very much. Better make sure that your fan /ac is in fully working order as Eli and Karis are about to meet. He's been talked into helping a friend of his sister whose ex boyfriend took all her money without finishing the renovations necessary for her new bakery. But once Eli has met this gorgeous feisty young woman he's going to make her his and will do anything to help. Great characters that practically 'melt' my kindle as I was reading. A fun and fast, easy read that has a HEA and leaves me wanting the rest of the series here asap! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Well, Eli and Karis went from just meeting to HEA really quickly - really quickly! Her friend - his sister - set them up after Karis' dirtbag boyfriend took off with her renovation money for her dream bakery, having done virtually none of the work (and what was done was no where up to code). Enter Eli, who's going to do the work as a favor to his sister. He quickly realizes that the job goes way beyond what his sister described, but the chemistry with Karis makes him want to stay and finish it anyway. He was excited about "getting some" one afternoon, until he realizes that it is her first time. The good guy in him took over, and he worked really hard to make it special for her. It seems like this relationship moved really fast, but it was a good story that I enjoyed a lot.
