Handsome. Sweet. And incredibly talented behind a camera.
He’s the fourth Casanova Bachelor on my parade of hot and wealthy suitors and I’m going to spend all of my time with him on a tropical island in the South Pacific.
Any girl would be lucky to be in my shoes. Or rather, my sandals.
The guilt I feel at not being able to truly appreciate my surroundings or my luck for being with such a good man for the month of April is crippling. And try as I might, I can’t stop thinking about one thing:
The rugged cowboy boot wearing hunk that follows me in my dreams and my waking hours.
Wyatt brewer is still heavy on my heart.
But day by day Miles is breaking down my halls and leading me toward healing. His gentle touch is exactly what I need in the aftermath of heartbreak, fire, and smoke, and there is no better place to open myself up again than in this tropical paradise.
But things are never that easy.
Miles needs me when he suffers a devastating loss and I need to keep myself together for him. He deserves at least that.
My heart has already been torn in all directions.
What’s one more tear?
Note to the Reader: This is a completed 14 book sexy romantic comedy series. You'll be following the journey of Piper, one funny, down-to-earth young woman, and her willingness to give up everything to save her family. The books are standalone in nature, but do have references to the books before as Piper will spend a month with each member of the 2019 Casanova Club. Enjoy. I did.
Ali Parker is a full-time contemporary and new adult romance writer with more than a hundred and twenty books behind her. She loves coffee, watching a great movie, and hanging out with her hubs. By hanging out, she means making out. The man is hot. Hello. She’s a creative at heart and loves coming up with more ideas than any one person should be allowed to access. She lives in Tennessee with her hubs, teenage son, two grown daughters, and two love-of-her-life grandbabies! Telling a good story that revives hope, reminds us of love, and gives a vacation from life is all she’s up to.
This is getting so hard on Piper! I’m definitely rooting for her to find love and happiness! I absolutely loved Miles! He’s so kind and understanding. Miles and Piper were so fun! I loved seeing how they got know each other. I loved how both of them were there for one another when they both needed it. This one was definitely hard to say goodbye to Miles. I’m going to miss them together. I’m also looking for forward to the little reunion. Can’t wait to see how Piper would feel about it. ☺️
This series just keeps getting better and better. Piper left the man she fell in love with to go on to the next bachelor. Her heart is broken but she carries on. Miles is sweet and senses that Piper is already in love with one of the previous Casanova members. The way he is there for her when she breaks down was so sweet. Wyatt stole my heart, but Miles is a very close second. The way he treats Piper is so sweet and loving. Miles goes through such a heartbreak with his dad and Piper stands by his side the whole time. I loved this book and I can't wait for May's bachelor.
Creating events that one or more of the bachelors can attend really brings another element to the story - I just don’t see how it would fit in. After reading the description, I’m a bit disappointed that something tragic happens in this story as it did in Wyatt’s. The first two men, Joshua and Easton, didn’t have anything major happen to them and therefore was able to spend all their time with Piper but at the same time it made them both less memorable - Piper didn’t feel that extra connection, in comparison to the one she felt with Wyatt after everything happened.
Please note: even though every single man is a BILLIONAIRE, only Miles has offered (or thought about offering) to help her family restaurant.
We get a glimpse of a dream that Miles has about Piper which is so telling in comparison to the dreams that Piper usually has about the men.
When Miles said that it would be a busy week and that she would have to spend some time alone - it was more than disappointing: (1) when the other men said they were busy, she jumped at the chance to do the stuff with them and when i say “them” I mean Wyatt and (2) isn’t the point of having a month with each man is to ACTUALLY spend time with them?
Out of the guys so far, it seems that Miles doesn’t offer any substance to the relationship, meaning whenever Piper explained about her family situation with the other 3 guys, they offered advice, similar feelings, etc. But halfway into the book and Miles doesn’t offer much.
The entire day of Piper falling in love with Wyatt bothers me. I did enjoy her time with him but I didn’t see a change in situation compared to the other 2 previous men, so what was it so special about Wyatt? Just because he got hurt? I hope this Wyatt thing doesn’t go on further than this story because it’s going to get annoying and just ruin the rest of the series.
JUST WHEN Piper finally decides to give it a go with Miles, his father dies... Miles couldn’t catch a break during their time together and it really is heartbreaking.
This is the first book so far that (1) I’m getting sick of Piper saying something along the lines of “you’ve changed me or I’ll never be the same after meeting you” because this is the fourth time and it seems a bit repetitive and played out and (2) I don’t feel so invested in the relationship - maybe it’s because Piper was never really invested or interested in loving Miles so emotionally as a reader you pull/hold back too, but it’s sucks not feeling the need to root for Miles even though he’s a wonderful guy as any of the others.
UGHHHH Miles got me at the end with the 400 something pictures he took of Piper, such a romantic but so humble and quiet about it! (Also, nice touch of actually giving them to her to really show who he is.)
It was an interesting idea to have Miles end the book with an entire chapter dedicated to his POV but it shows how attached he wound up getting to Piper and gives the reader an expanded mind of him.
Note: I read it on a different format so I wasn't able to highlight but here are a few quotes that I appreciated:
His constant desire to make sure I was okay and to check in with me made my heart swell. He was one of the good ones. Straight to his core. Part of wished I'd met him sooner. Another part was glad I hadn't because if He'd been one of the first, it would have been impossible to move through the remaining months.
I bit the inside of my cheek as the knot below my belly began to uncoil slowly, like someone was ever so slowly pulling one end loose.
He engulfed my body with his. There was nothing but Miles and sand and how good it all felt. I signed beneath him, ran my hands up the inside of his shirt, and gazed into his eyes. I could have loved him. I knew it. He knew it. There was still time. A lot could happen in two weeks.
And maybe I only felt that way because I was starting to feel like there was something there between us. Something real and passionate and deep and warm. Something that, had we had just a bit more time, might have been able to fully bloom.
Okay... I’ll just say it. Miles got screwed this month. First off, anyone having to follow Wyatt was going to have a LOT to measure up to. But then having to deal with all the...personal stuff... (trying not to give too much away) right as he was finally starting to connect with Piper? It feels unfair. I’m angry for him and want him to get another month out of the Casanova Club.
But I guess that’s a sign he was a great character. I really liked him - and I didn’t want to like anyone after Wyatt last month...
And does anyone else think that at the end of the year, she should get the guy AND the other guys all surprise her by bailing out the restaurant? It can’t be just me who is hoping for that outcome.
Anyway, I’m really loving this series and can’t see what’s in store for us next month.
Another brilliant story. I so fell in love with Miles. This storyline was so sad but so lovely. Each of these Billionaires are so unique in their own way. I truly am falling in love with each of them. At first I didn't think Piper would hit it off with Miles being as she was so sad when she first arrived but we already know what a strong character she is. It was just so sad that they missed out on some time together in the beginning and then when tragedy struck Miles it just didn't seem fair that the rest if their time together was almost taken up with Mile's sorrow and getting the arrangements sorted for his Dad. I will say that tissues will be needed on this one.
Oh man you had me crying through half of this one. They way that Piper and Miles got close and then all the sudden a life altering event changes everything was not how I saw them getting close. But this book in this series I think was my favorite. But I know with the next 8 books you have for us they will all get more and more harder for us to figure out who or what Piper will do. Ali has become one of my favorite authors and with this series I think it will simple skyrocket her to amazing thinhs. Please gives us another group after this one is done. I think Janine will need her book. I give it 5+ stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy
Loving this series. This is Miles and Piper's month and what a month it is. Miles is the professional photographer and he gets to travel the world to beautiful places the normal person will never see beyond his pictures. When Piper joins him they are off to a beautiful secluded island that is until tragedy strikes.
I love this series and this one pulled at the heartstrings. I shed a tear or two and my heart broke for both Piper and Miles. I received an early copy to read and review and give my honest opinion. I loved this book and look forward to the next one in the series to see where Piper goes next. I highly recommend this series but it is one you must start at the beginning to follow properly.
This series is going to break my heart into little bitty pieces. Each one of the Casanova bachelors has something special about him for Piper, and us readers, to fall in love with. Miles is a sweetheart. A creative free spirit who’s living his dream as a Nat Geo photojournalist. The emotions are running high when a family tragedy strikes, and Piper helps Miles through it. Here I am at the end of another book in the series, and I’ve lost yet another piece of my heart to one of Piper’s Casanova bachelors. I’m loving these books to death, but they just might kill me before it’s all over. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Miles and Piper will have you in an emotional twist at the end of their story. To begin with Piper is still trying to get a hold of herself after being with Wyatt. Now she is flown to Cook Island to be with Miles their time is interrupted by a problem in Miles family. Piper and Miles had some hurdles to climb in this story and only time will tell if they connected on an emotional level to determine if he will be her one and only. I voluntarily agreed to receive an Arc of this book for an honest review.
Casanova 5: Miles. Oh this book is great! It had me in tears. I don't know how Piper is going to choose at the end of this journey because I thought I was sure who she should choose. Now I am holding my breath to read the rest of the months to see how well she fits with the other men. The men's characters are wonderful. They seem like fantasies and not real men. But I love it! *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***
This was such a good tearjerker! I loved how Piper is starting to realize that while she may be pining for one of her past men, she still has to give the current guy a shot. And Miles is a shot of perfection. It was nice to have a guy that had to leave her alone from time to time to go to work because it felt like the most realistic relationship. Piper doesn’t like the life of shopping or expensive things. She just wants to be with a down to earth guy.
Piper and Miles story was amazing. I loved every minute of it, and there is an event in the storyline I did not see coming. Tears were shed. This series is amazing and all of the characters are very well written. I fall for everyone of them. Piper has a tough choice ahead.
I loved Miles and Piper!! Piper was able to be there for him in his time of need!! He wants her to have what is best for her even if it not him!! I would recommend this book and this series to anyone!!
For Piper this will not get any easier, she keeps falling for all this guys, they all fall for her too, will she keep her mind int he money at the end. I can’t wait to find out.
I love this series. Each month is so different from the next as is each guy. We sit here in our readers chair wondering is Piper going to make it to the end of the year or what will she do.. So many choices or is there?
Miles is a great addition to the Cassanova club men although this book in the series is one of the sadder ones. How she will end up choosing in the end will be very difficult. Great read!
I have been reading this series and am hooked. I am now on to book six! I started with the first four books for 99 cents but the only downside is that I now will HAVE to buy the rest to find out how it ends!
I enjoy a romance which includes real life situations. They didn’t get enough time together to figure out things but life went deep. Is it truly possible to fall in love with 4 men or is it more lust and caring? Who knows! Great story.
Miles is a photographer and is sent all over the world photographing nature, culture and wildlife. His life is exotic and solitary. Taking the time to spend with Piper seems alien to him, but it is something he’s determined to do. He takes Piper away with him on his assignment to the Cook Islands.
This book was a heart breaker. Still overwhelmed with her feelings for Wyatt, Miles shouldn’t have stood a chance. But he was patient, kind and a true gentleman. On top of that he was gorgeous and they were in tropical paradise. This author writes about travel and conveys a sense of place that strikes to the heart. Giving a sense of where Piper and Miles are helps understand why they become closer.
Piper really gets put through the mill in this book and I got a lump in my throat several times. The author really captured sorrow so well it made my eyes sting. I really hope that Piper gets a break in the next book. Her poor heart surely can’t take much more.
I can’t convey how much I adore this series. This book picks up after Piper leaves Wyatt and returns home before starting her month with Miles. Sounds strange but I love how at first Piper couldn’t open up to the experience with Miles due to missing Wyatt. It showed that she’s human, and that completely immersing herself in the process has taken its toll as she has got attached to the bachelors and finds it harder to say goodbye. Miles is an absolute sweetheart (can I keep him????!) and supports her as she pines for Wyatt despite it “costing” him days perusing Piper. Of course Piper recognises that Miles is amazing in doing this and she starts to open up to him, and eventually wishes she has more time with him. Together they are so sweet yet hot, cue the swooning.
My only criticism is that no one in her family has noticed or commented how she is studying abroad but stops by each month for a quick visit. It’s just a minor point and doesn’t at all detract from how fantastic the series is.
Counting down the days until the next book.

Such A Powerful Range Of Emotions In This Romantic Series! Simply Wonderful!! This is the latest book in The Casanova Club Series written by the fabulous best selling author, Ali Parker. This is book 5 of the series and features Miles as the bachelor of the month. After reading Wyatt, book 4, I wondered how Ali could best that book and she has! We meet Piper, our heroine, who is dating 12 different billionaire bachelors for one month for a year, at the end of which she will either choose one that she has fallen in love with OR receive $1 million! If you've read the other books in the series then you will know why she is doing this [she is no gold digger!] but after meeting Wyatt in the last book she is struggling with her feelings for him and so the start of her month with Miles doesn't go quite as he had hoped. Miles is a fantastic person who is gorgeous, handsome, and so gentle as well as being super s@xy. And so their month together starts at a slower pace then previously as he realises her heart is in turmoil. But he is someone that she just can't stop being attracted to and things start heating up between them when dreadfully sad news reaches them and their month together is altered. This is when other facets of Piper's character come into play and we see how she is so compassionate, loving, practical, great at organising and how loyal she is to those she cares about. Throughout the story it is peppered with her feelings for Wyatt but she cares deeply for Miles too and wishes that they had more time together to discover what lies between them. And I do wish that too as I feel there is a 'what if' moment. However, Memorial Day will be soon so they may see each other before the twelve months have passed! As I said I loved Wyatt and didn't know how it could be beaten but this is so so close! Just amazing story and I look forward very impatiently for more please!!!! I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most definitely recommended!!!
Book five in the Cassanova Club begins the month of April, which means another new billionaire for Piper James, National Geographic photographer Miles Stewart. This time Piper arrives in Washington only to be ushered back onto a plane, destination Rarotonga, a tropical paradise in the South Pacific. At first, Piper is still missing Wyatt, and Miles seems to realize that she might already have fallen for one of the other men and missed his chance, but a romantic date night changes things when Piper finally gives in to the feelings developing for Miles. Things are slowly building between the pair when a devastating loss pulls them from their paradise and back to the real world, and though their time together is cut short, Piper must put aside whatever she feels to be there for Miles. When Piper finally gets back to her apartment in New York, she begins to feel the weight of the last few months and finds herself wondering how much more her heart can take. Will she be able to survive the rest of the year? Or will her heart be torn apart forever? I can’t wait to read all about May, and Piper’s next adventure. Joshua is still my choice, with Wyatt and Miles being second and third.
Another great addition to the Casanova Club and Piper's story. This month it's Miles turn who is a photographer for a well known magazine. For the beginning of this book, Piper is struggling to get over Wyatt who she spent last month with. She even has a hard time with this when Miles takes her with him on an assignment to the Cook Islands. Due to this, I don't feel she gave Miles the attention nor the time he deserved so when they finally started to get close and see where this relationship could lead, they hit a real hard bump in the road. Miles father passed away and she was with him the whole time. This eventually brings them closer but then their time is up. Is he the one she will end up with?? What will happen when they see each other in May for a get together? Will he finally see who she spent the last 3 months with and who she already fell in love with? Is there room in her heart for him and does she feel the same way he does for her? This is another well written book by this author.
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fifth book in the Casanova Club series. In this book, Piper is to spend the month with Miles. Miles is a famous photographer who travels the world taking pictures for Nation Geographic. Miles comes home to DC to meet Piper and learns he is going to the South Pacific. They travel to the small island and spend the first couple of weeks getting to know each other. Miles suspects Piper is in love with one of the other men and he thinks he missed his chance. They grow to be close friends and eventually there is a connection. When Miles gets a phone call and must return to the US, Piper stands by him and returns with him. I love this series. I think Miles is a great guy and i think he really cared for Piper, but he also accepted she has feelings for someone else. I think this series is getting more emotional and i think Piper never thought it would be this hard. I feel like crying myself reading this series and i can't wait for the next book. Great storyline.
OMG! How does the series just keep getting better and better and better? I get goosebumps when the next book in this series is available because I know how awesomely fantastic it is going to be. All of these books are THAT great. My heart is breaking for miles. He is just so adorable and unique and sincere who is starting to see what everyone else has seen in Piper. She is a jewel, a treasure, a woman that surpasses all other women. She is everything men desire. Is Miles going to fall in love with her just like everyone else has? Of course he is. This book is loaded with every emotion known to man. You feel what they are feeling. Your emotions will be so high, it will have you grasping your heart and sighing. Ali makes you fall in love with every Casanova and Miles is no exception. Miles is so gentle and tender and loving and compassionate. A lovingly written story. Wonderful characters, wonderful plot. Fabulous storytelling. Excellent book.
Miles is the fifth installment in The Casanova Club and it will pull at your heartstrings. This was well written, has wonderful characters and the storyline will have you feeling so many emotions. This series is incredible and getting to know each guy is breathtaking. I can't wait to see what Ali Parker has in store for us next. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
