"Then we all agreed to state the Treasure Hunters Club!"
3.5/5
Another cute installment of an excellent series. This one has the owl class going on a camping trip together. They work together on a treasure hunt and realize that friendship is the real treasure (I still think it’s gold, but that’s just me.).
{My thoughts} – Eva and her classmates get to go on an all new adventure in this book. They are going to go camping and they are all very excited. They get to sing songs around the campfire, they get to make cool projects, and they get to go on a fun treasure hunt.
This book is mostly about them not working on their projects. They decide to combine efforts and work on a treasure hunt instead after their teacher tells them a story. A bunch of her classmates including her get together and work on finding and solving the clues. Once they reach the end of the camping trip they decide it’s time to tell everyone. When they do not everyone shares the same interest as they do, but their teacher agrees to look at the clues they have found.
I really enjoy this book series. It is so simple and the illustrations are bright and fun. Each of the illustrations within the book go hand and hand with the story within it’s pages.
I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future as I enjoy her style of writing. I also enjoy her style of illustrating! It’s fun and always remarkable to see in my opinion.
Eva’s campfire adventure was full of community, problem solving, STEM inventions and friendship! Kids will love solving the clues to a surprise treasure hunt and learning that the power was in their hearts all along.
Owl Diaries Eva's Campfire Adventure is an incredibly funny and exciting book that will make you laugh out loud! Eva, the super cool owl, is going on a camping trip, and she can't wait for all the fun activities like swimming and exploring. But guess what? She finds a bunch of clues for a special someone named Nelly Wingdale. Wow, that's a fancy last name!
Nelly Wingdale lives in Treetopolis on Woodland Avenue in Treehouse number 11. How cool is that? When Eva finds all the food that Nelly left behind, she gets an amazing idea. She decides to start a Treasure Hunters Club with her friends. But there's a little problem. Sue is a bit nervous about being in the club, but they figure it out together because that's what friends do!
Do you know what's the best part of this book? It's when they realize that the biggest treasure you can have in life is your family. It's so important to cherish and appreciate our loved ones. That's a really valuable lesson, don't you think?
Oh, and there's something really funny and unexpected that happens in the story. You won't believe it! Eva learns that owls can accidentally burn their wings when roasting marshmallows. Can you imagine? It made me giggle and be extra careful when I roast marshmallows too.
In conclusion, Owl Diaries Eva's Campfire Adventure is a hilarious and thrilling book that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. Eva's life is a real hoot, and her camping trip is full of surprises and laughter. It teaches us the importance of family and reminds us to be careful when playing with fire, especially when roasting marshmallows! If you love funny adventures and treasure hunts, this book is a must-read. Get ready to join Eva on her exciting camping journey!

I've got so much to say about this book. Watch my full review on my YouTube channel to hear all my thoughts. https://youtu.be/9AbDNXssSbM
This is another cute installment in the Owl Diaries series, which I enjoyed more than the last book. Eva and her friends become treasure hunters and they have to work together to make really complex (at least for owls their age) contraptions like pulleys and catapults. A fun addition of STEM with an emphasis on the importance of family and friends over riches.
For: fans of owls; readers wanting a diary format and fun illustrations.
Possible red flags: hiding things/keeping secrets.
This is really a good series. It is cute and an easy read. In reality the series could be read out of order, but to see the character development it is best to read it from the start. There is character development in this series, the plot is well thought out and it is c will paced. I also really like the illustrations and formatting of the book. Really cute and it is definitely a series I'd recommend.
Eva and her classmates go on a class camping trip. One of their activities is to create an invention, but instead, they get distracted looking for the lost treasure from their campfire story. At first, they think they didn't finish their project, but then they realize they invented many things to problem solve in their treasure hunting adventure.
Love the colorful style with lots of pictures. A great step into reading chapter books.
Eva and her classmates are going on a campout! They pitch thier tents, make food outdoors, build a fire, and hike the area. They are tasked to make something useful in the outdoor environment. The owlets have also been told the story of Nellie Wingdale, the founder of Treetopolis, and how she hid a treasure in these very woods! But that story can be true...can it? Follow Eva and her friends as they follow clues on a scavenger hunt and learn to navigate the woods!
#12 in the series, we're nearing the end, and my four year old loves these stories as a read aloud!
J loves this book series! It's got the cutest look to the pages - the colors and illustrations, even the font is cute!! The pages are lined, just like a diary would be. (3rd grade) It's exciting to see some new books are being added to this series. We are checking them out from the library and reading them as fast as she can!
Miss 7 loves Eva and enjoyed reading about their camping adventures and treasure hunting.
Miss 7 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.
Picked this up on a whim at my local library, and I'm so glad I did. I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to read this because I would have liked this book at a kid. Eva is a young owl that is essentially a girl scout. She and her partner get distracted by the thought of finding treasure and have an adventure along the way.
I mean.... I only read it cuz I've read the rest of them.... awhile ago, though. I'm older, so this is a bit, uh, young for me. I'll say, though, this author is talented and this series is written nicely. Otherwise, a good book for early readers and owl nerds.
eva cannot wait to go camping! she and her classmates will swim in the lake they sing campfire songs but then they find treasure and all the classmates . Work together and find treasure so read the book!
