CapWar Empire, book three of the CapStone Conspiracy, exposes those who control global events and their vast web of corruption. Hudson Pound had discovered the truth, yet instead of the truth changing everything, everything changed the truth.

What if war was used as a tool of the elites?
What if your money no longer had value?
What if the only people who could help, were the ones chasing you?
Hudson knows he just appears to be the most powerful man in the world. Now in order to stop the conspiracy he must find a way to make that power real. His one chance to save the country from all-out war may be to embrace the revolution.
They will keep changing the truth . . . until you believe it.

USA TODAY Bestselling Author Brandt Legg uses his unusual real life experiences to create page-turning novels. He’s traveled with CIA agents, dined with senators and congressmen, mingled with astronauts, chatted with governors and presidential candidates, had a private conversation with a Secretary of Defense he still doesn’t like to talk about, hung out with Oscar and Grammy winners, had drinks at the State Department, been pursued by tabloid reporters, and spent a birthday at the White House by invitation from the President of the United States.

At age eight, Legg's father died suddenly, plunging his family into poverty. Two years later, while suffering from crippling migraines, he started in business, and turned a hobby into a multi-million-dollar empire. National media dubbed him the “Teen Tycoon,” and by the mid-eighties, Legg was one of the top young entrepreneurs in America, appearing as high as number twenty-four on the list (when Steve Jobs was #1, Bill Gates #4, and Michael Dell #6). Legg still jokes that he should have gone into computers.

By his twenties, after years of buying and selling businesses, leveraging, and risk-taking, the high-flying Legg became ensnarled in the financial whirlwind of the junk bond eighties. The stock market crashed and a firestorm of trouble came down. The Teen Tycoon racked up more than a million dollars in legal fees, was betrayed by those closest to him, lost his entire fortune, and ended up serving time for financial improprieties.

After a year, Legg emerged from federal prison, chastened and wiser, and began anew. More than twenty-five years later, he’s now using all that hard-earned firsthand knowledge of conspiracies, corruption and high finance to weave his tales. Legg’s books pulse with authenticity.

His series have excited nearly a million readers around the world. Although he refused an offer to make a television movie about his life as a teenage millionaire, his autobiography is in the works. There has also been interest from Hollywood to turn his thrillers into films. With any luck, one day you’ll see your favorite characters on screen.

Legg now writes full time – his favorite endeavor ever! For more information, visit BrandtLegg.com, or to contact Brandt directly, email him: Brandt@BrandtLegg.com, he loves to hear from readers and always responds!

The final book in this trilogy was fittingly exciting. It was well thought out and the information well researched by the author. A "deep state" comprised of extremely wealthy individuals throughout the planet are vying for total control of governments, banks and everything else that makes society function. Standing in their way is the current American president Hudson Pound and a revolutionary group calling itself "Nothbridge." The deep staters have co-opted most of America's military leaders, government officials and other key players. When the inevitable coup arrives, the president is caught unawares, and he and his family are faced with almost certain execution. A real page-turner.

‘CapWar Empire’, the third and final book in thriller author Brant Legg’s ‘Capstone Conspiracy’ series must have been a difficult challenge to the writer. In the first two novels in the series, Legg has conjured up a scenario that is daunting. His protagonist faces conspiracies and triple dealing everywhere, with few allies and no clear path to victory in sight. Of all his novels, this is probably the most complex narrative he has written. Yet he’s pulled off a miracle here. Not only does this story offer the reader a taught, fast-paced, satisfactory conclusion to the conundrum Legg has created, he does it by keeping the reader glued to their seat with many unexpected twists and turns along the way. One thing that also stood out was that, no matter how dark and gloomy the tale became, as crisis piled upon crisis with unseen hands pulling everyone’s strings, a shiny vein of hope ran through the trilogy, especially notable in this last book, perhaps because of the times we live too.

Yes, without a doubt, Legg’s political thriller trilogy is outstanding. It is replete with strong, clear messages to those in power, and those governed, whilst entertaining us with a solid, credible, and well-crafted tale of deceit and ambition at its worst. Highly recommended!

Hooked by this trilogy, the third book, “CAPWAR EMPIRE” is as intoxicating as the first two and opens with a resurrected President Hudson Pound facing the REMies planning for further upheaval economically and politically; NorthBridge looking at a new Civil War; and the upper echelon of the military scheming a takeover of the government. In order to stop the factions and save the country Hudson Pound’s only scheme is to gather those he can trust and unleash “Cherry Tree” and introduce a plan that’s “ Fair and Free.”

In a roller-coaster plot filled with betrayal, lies and secrets that keeps you on the edge of your seat after the death of Vonner and Schueller inheriting his millions, the action never stops as the President faces death while looking for allies in a landscape thick with enemies. The action never slows as intensity and suspense spike with an explosion of twist and turns including attacks throughout the country, the defaming of the President’s good name and a strike against his private plane. Fast-paced and enthralling, all too quickly the third book flows seamlessly to a fiery confrontation and a solid ending.

Among a host of compelling characters is the smart, honest and sincere history teacher turned store owner who’s elected President, Hudson Pound; his supportive and wealthy son, Schueller; loyal friend and techie, Wizard; and the devious, manipulative, greedy billionaires and REMies Bastendorf and Titus Coyne. These and others infuse this political thriller with high tension and intrigue as they grapple for the power of the CapStone.

I thoroughly enjoyed “CAPWAR EMPIRE” and look forward to reading more of Brandt Legg’s novels in future.

The CapStone series

This series is fantastic, trying to elect a school teacher, as president of the USA. The teacher with his family own a couple of small hardware stores that are struggling financially, he is a history teacher and not a politician. He can't believe what he is learning, about politics, how Washington really works, and especially how corrupt it seems everyone is.
This series is so enthralling, as I read it all I could think of is how real it all seemed and it was difficult for me to put it down at any time. I wanted nothing more than to finish the series to find out if anyone even survived this catastrophic scenario.
I hope you read this and enjoy as much as I did.

This a great series conclusion. I think the authors finest work so far. The characters are interesting and develop throughout, there are many layers and depth to the plot that keep making you wonder just how close to the truth some of this may be. And that will keep you up at night.

Through all the action and adventure the line of hope, and the belief that the "average joe" can survive and fix the problems we face is inspirational.

Even a few twists that turned out different than I had thought or expected which always adds to the thrill of reading a book. If you like action, adventure, twists, along with a great story and excellent characters you should read this book.

Loved this series!

I was hooked from the first book! Can certainly see where this most recent and inexplicable election could be a part if a manipulation of the masses because, well...Trump, right? And while it's great fun to read about all these Machiavellian plots, to revel in the sheer audacity and shameless insincerity of some characters...I must allow myself to believe these things aren't actually taking place in order to sleep at night. But you made me care about them, made me cheer them on and want them to win. Buy the series, no fair jumping to the end, ok?

6.6/10

Dranick betrays President Pound. Full on coup detaut happens.

Remies vs Northbridge.

Aka Adams is the Vice President.

Aka Franklin is Granger.

Melissa, his wife, was hired by Vonner.

First half of story dragged, second half felt rushed in how everything developed. Tarka and VS ended up retaking control of things but no details on how. She literally just showed up to free the President.

Little to no action. A bunch of words. Felt like he just needed to write the book to finish the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Some of the ending was a little fantastic - there's just no way all the "clean-up" could have happened in a year. Sadly enough, much of what was depicted throughout the series could very well be true, especially in today's political climate. All in all, this was a good read. And if you're into conspiracy theories and the existence of the deep state, this series is for you.

Wild ride!

This series would make quite a good movie! There are so many parallels with the current events in our country. The author makes a great connection with historical events that tie very well with the plot.

Disappointed

I enjoyed the first 2 books but this one just didn't have it. Did not like the turn of events but still a must read to find out how it ends.
