They come in all shapes and sizes. Some are scaly and walk on webbed feet through shallow marshes. Others linger in the water, slimy and waiting for human toes to snack on. Most of them are blood thirsty. Many are merely curious. There are those who dwell on land, hiding behind trees and roots the color of mud. These creatures can run quicker than the fastest man. Beware: They’ll catch you if they can. They are the creepy critters childhood nightmares are made of. But this isn’t a book of child’s play. Instead, it is of the creeps whom even the bravest of adults is most certainly afraid. Look out. The creepers are coming. You have been warned.
Follow M W Brown down the skeleton-strewn path. The international bestselling author longs to lure you into her dark, twisted imagination, lock the door and wait for you to scream. Her love of all things supernatural and terrifying started at an early age. That love exploded when she discovered Steven King, Clive Barker, and Shirley Jackson. She devoured ghost stories, horror films, and dabbled in writing her own. Brown studied mathematics and psychology at university because there wasn't a course in horror and found numbers and people can be just as terrifying. But it took her decades in finance to follow her true passion and realize her macabre imagination needed an outlet. Brown has penned Portraits in Flesh, The Lingering Taste of Salted Chocolate, and co-written The Broken Mirror Series, as well as over a dozen short stories.
A great anthology from Crazy Ink! If you like fantastical creatures that hunt you and go bump in the night, then you'll be able to find a story in Creeps that's just right for you.
Crazy Ink did it again with some fantastic authors. This book will have you scared and turning the pages. The stories show the different authors writing styles. This anthology and group of authors are the best.
Of course it was another great anthology by the crazy authors of Crazy Ink. They always give their all in their stories and I'm happy to read everything they come up with. My absolute favorite was Lorah Jaiyns bit, I laughed so hard at spots. Fantastic anthology!
