Discover the true heart of Prague: The Musical City on a unique, revealing journey, exploring the secrets and taboo of the majestic capital of Bohemia and the Czech Republic, where music and the arts thrive despite years of oppression.
“It’s dark but glittering, ugly but beautiful, welcoming but secretive, free but imprisoned. Prague is all the contradictions, just like the beauty of life and love itself”
Adam Harkus’ passion for travelling took him to the world's most fascinating locations, from the sandy beaches of Goa to the ancient splendour of Prague. His books not only detail local culture and history, but also Adam's personal experiences - sometimes funny, sometimes harrowing, which you won't find in standard travel guides.
Adam is also a guitarist, singer/songwriter and founder of the Blogging Musician @ adamharkus.com, The ultimate resource community for guitarists & musicians.
Definitely not the book you want to read if you are looking for an informational and motivational guidebook to this ancient city. If this was my only book on the subject, I'd look for somewhere else to visit. I found it quite boring, uninformative, and not a credit to it's title at all.
