What an adventure this book is. It’s captivating and thrilling throughout. Characters were great to read. Not to be missed. I recieved a copy via Booksprout and this is my honest review

Ryia is a huntress warrior the first female Huntress, revered by her people
When Ryia had gone for a run around the earth bayou she had never expected that such a disastrous outing would lead to her finding her one true mate Commander Barrick Andel who had been trying to prevent an interplanetary incident when she had been taken prisoner in panther form by form by Prince Eagert.
Then when the prince decides that he is going to steal away the mated female from her commander to add her to his Menagerie on the planet so that when he takes over from his father and brother’s he might allow her to sit at his side, “If he’s feeling generous”
Fighting alongside his new family Ryia parents and her two brothers together they join as one to recover his heart and soul and the future of his tomorrows, in her eyes he has seen the faces of his future children and he knows that they hold his heart and all of his tomorrows.

Commander Barrick Andel has been sent to “babysit” a Prince on his journey. They end up near Earth and the Prince wants a prize to take back with him. He cares nothing about if it starts a war or the repercussions that will arise. But CMD Andel will find out when the beautiful create changes. Ryia wanted to let her cat free to roam. She was at peace till she was taken from her home. But she will fight her way free till she meets Barrick.
I hate that the “Prince” sees the beauty of Earths creatures arm his for the taking. It’s like those privileged rich people that hunt animals for sport and kill ones that are rare. It always makes me sick. This Prince is no different. I wanted to scream and this was in the beginning of the story. And I am glad that the book has to two original, Reyna and Hale. It makes this more enticing to read. The daughter of these two are tough and excellent warrior. It’s funny but Riya is more the aggressor then Barrick. Which makes this so much fun. These two are as hot and steamy as her parents are. I love the adventure.

I love this addition to the series. I really like how it picks up with the some characters from the previous book, The Hunter's Mate, in this case Hale and Reyna's baby (the first born Cantari daughter). This is her Fated-mate love story. As both the first born female Cantari and Huntress, it's going to be hard for her. She is treasured but wants to be treated as the Huntress she knows she is. The males in her life want to protect her to the point of smothering. All that changes when she is kidnapped by a smarmy Prince, inciting a possible intergalactic war. All the way she finds her Fated-mate, jealousy, murder, and some space battles ensue. Along with some steamy bedroom scenes that include some red bottoms, too!! (not always in the bedroom; they're pretty inventive). It's a quick read with a great plot and fun alpha characters.

This is a new author to me & I will honestly admit that I really enjoyed reading this futuristic romance. The plot is interesting, well-thought out & written. The characters are quite unique with complex personalities & display realistic emotional reactions to the situations they find themselves in.
There is: a defiant Cantari female warrior & huntress is captured & caged (Ryia), a Andurian commander determined to return Ryia to her home world but soon discovers that she is his mate (Barrick Andel), a spoilt obnoxious prince (Prince Eagert), twists & turns, intrigue suspense, devious plans, high treason, murder, evil, a unsanctioned hunt, abduction, threats, violence, attractions, denial, emotional turmoil, spankings, mating, jealousy, a caring family, escape, conflict, justice, happiness, love, steamy scenes & a well-deserved happy ending.
I really would recommend this futuristic romance to people who enjoy reading this genre.

This is the first book of Morganna Williams I've read and was pleasantly surprised. She's presented a world of shifters in a futuristic setting that has never crossed my path, making me quite intrigued with the entire scenerio. The plotline ran seamlessly throughout the story and the developing characters made it easy to relate to their personalities. It said it was a stand alone, and I would agree, I had no problem following the story as there was no buildup or reference to a previous tale. As I finished the book, I realized there was more here than met the eye and discovered there was a book previous to this one and I'm sure more to come. I'm not disappointed, just anxious now to get the first book so I have more pieces to a delightful, PNR with all spanking goodness that comes with it.

He promised that no harm will come to her in his custody but fate has a way of getting them together. When she is taken, he will stop at nothing in getting her back?

Ryia was the first Cantari girl to ever be born to the Cantari race. She fights like the Huntress she is and spars with her two brothers and her father Hale. She and her brothers can also shift into black panthers. She begs to go to earth so she can run her panther. She falls asleep and is caught by an idiot prince Eagert who wants to keep her in a cage. Ha, she smells her mate on the ship the prince took her too. Commander Barrick Andel is an Andurian male who is a peacemaker of the Galactic fleet. What an amazing story. The adventure, action, and lust between the two is tangible. I have read one other story by Morganna Williams which was the story of Hale and Reyan. Can;t wait to read more of her works.

Although this is the sequel to The Hunter’s Mate it is also a standalone novel, although I would personally suggest reading the first book prior to this one. Riya (female main character) is one tough cookie and although taken as a prisoner and caged she never stops fighting, not even when perhaps she should as Barrick (lead male character) is actually trying to save her! The story-line is wonderful and exciting to read, the characters are described really well. There isn’t a boring moment in this book at all, the author keeps a nice steady pace as she took me through the story, and I was sad when the book ended. How she managed to pack so much in to such a fairly short book is amazing!

I really enjoyed this shifter book with a galactic difference! Space travel for a jungle cat. Excellent storyline, Jack’s narration is smooth and sexy. Such a beautiful voice.

Barrick falls for Ryia as she is in a cage. That is just the beginning. This is a true, becareful of what you wish for. Barrick is after Ryia, who is a captive of a prince. Once he gets her, she is not as submissive as he hoped. Ryia is feral and needs to be tamed. Barrick stops at nothing to train her. Her taming makes this books so steamy and hot. Morgana Williams always delivers a fully packed story in a short book.
Jack Calihan is a perfect narrator for Barrick. He has the perfect strong, dominant alpha voice to bring Barrick to life. His inflections adds to any steamy scene and makes it easy to get lost in. I really enjoy Jack Calihan and look forward to hearing more from him.

I enjoyed this book and liked many things about it but there were a few things I didn't. This is Ryia & Barrick's story. I loved how Ryia was Hale and Reyna's daughter (The Hunter's Mate). It was great to reconnect with this couple. I thought the chemistry between these two was steamy. I was not a fan of Barrick's dedication to what he felt was his duty over what should have been his duty to his mate. It just wasn't right and the worst thing was I never got the feeling that he regretted his actions or his inaction whichever the case warranted in pursuit of his duty. Does contain hot scenes that included spankings. This is my truthful, voluntary review.

This book by Morganna Williams was another of her well-known mating stories with lots of powerful and aggressive sex, combined with a touch of spanking, and a sprinkling of a sci-fi chase or battle. All of which make it another oh so enjoyable and fun read as long as you are near a cold shower by the time you finish reading or you take a much needed break from the hotness within. I always enjoy her books when I am looking for some real escape from reality time. This is a voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Booksprout.

But when she's brought upon the ship, Commander Barrick meets her and they both instantly recognize the other as their mate. To save an intergalactic incident from happening he releases her, angering the prince and starting a grudge with him. Barrick tries to distance himself from Ryia, but can't fight the mating pull and claims her. Ups, downs, kidnapping, mating, murder, all in space. Loved the ending!

I really enjoyed this audio book. It was a new experience with regards to the idea of aliens and shifters. I haven't read any of this type of novel before. I will definitely explore it further. The story was suspenseful and sensual. The fantasy concept was refreshing. Jack Calihan did a wonderful narration. His ability to express the different emotions of characters made it that much more believable. I definitely recommend this novel, Morgana Williams, and Jack Calihan.

This book was a good mix of PNR and sci-fi. We get shifters in the space-traveling background. I like the characters and enjoyed the steamy encounters we were given. Overall- great story.
Narration was great. Jack did a great job of giving each character distinctive voices. Great audio quality. No complaints.

His Caged Mate has everything, aliens, spaceships, a warrior woman who also shifts into a panther, palaces made of crystal..... It was a lot better than I originally thought it would be, I'm really glad I read it.

His Caged Mate was another good read by Morganna Williams. Ryia was held captive in a cage by a prince when Commander Barrick saw her and knew that she was. his mate. He wants to avoid a war by returning her but she doesn't make it easy. Things start to change when he takes her as his mate. This was another good read by the author.

The prince acted like an evil petulant child from start to finish. Thank the goddesses for Barrick- a mans man. He was more than up to the challenge of Ryia. I loved how he claims and tames that fiery kitty cat. I liked the retribution that came for the prince, but sad for the other losses. The narrator brought it to life in the audible version.

Another Great Hit
Wow, the second book was just as great as the first one! It's fast paced, full of adventure, lots of spanking, action, love, and steamy sexy scenes that leaves you saying ahh with awesome characters? A must buy and keep them coming; they're awesome.

This is a really great story. I enjoyed the premise. It made me smile, get angry, and laugh. Ryia is such a strong character and her mate, well he knew exactly what she needed. The story line was creative and unique also. Read thru the KU program.

Another great book...
Another interesting, scorching hot and great book!
I have listened to and loved The Hunter's Mate and now this, with their daughters' story I can't help but to be hooked in the whole narration.
And the narrator is so amazing! That sexy voice!

I enjoy this book but wish it was a little slower and the main character gets to know each other more.
