Red Ned by Tony Wilson is a story about a boy who has red hair. He wants to cut his hair but his mother doesn't want that to happen. He ends up bleaching it but then his hair falls out and he wears a bucket on his head. People think he is Ned Kelly. The end quote is "You are who you are, that's the truth, such is life". It is a story of self-acceptance but also incorporates a bit of Australian history.
