A good quick read of a NASCAR legend. The book is your basic biography: growing up in Spartanburg, hard knocks education at Whitney Mills, early interest in cars, and catching his break in NASCAR. The author does a good job of showing David Pearson’s personality with several practical joke stories. It’s a good book for any NASCAR fan, it dives into races where the Silver Fox duels with Richard Petty and Cale Yarborough.
