This was sooooo cute :3 I didn't think a new author would write so well, but this surprised me. The story flows easily, the dialogue is great and the story is so, so cute! I wish I could stay with Paul and Ella for a long time, and I hope the author doesn't take long to write more books, because I want more!
The characters are engaging and well developed with an easy flowing storyline. They start of as a fake couple that end up being so much more than they anticipated. I loved how their relationship evolved into something stronger even through the heartbreak along the road.

One determined girl and the guy she meets on the night she gets blackout drunk. It's a good read with a fun plot. Likable characters with good chemistry and a hard to come by happy ending.

A bit of a crazy over the top ride with great humor, this book will make you laugh out loud while you're shaking your head in disbelief. Why the disbelief? Because the main character is just crazy. Crazy in a fun humorous way. The author has given her traits that are believable and likable even though she is rude and abrasive because she is struggling to cope with the unrelenting cruelty around her. Her character is an unrestrained, force of nature that is unleashed on one man who is more than capable of containing her once he is given the opportunity. I hope there is more to their story because I'm not ready to say goodbye.
She is such a good girl and still a virgin when she decides to step out of her comfort zone by going to college. She ends up drunk and he comes to her rescue and that should have been it. She wants to pay him to be her fake boyfriend and he needs the money so he agrees. Will it stay a business arrangement.See if it will

FUN & ENTERTAINING! Cute enjoyable fun read with a whole lot of laughs. Nice easy flowing well written storyline that keeps you engrossed and entertained from the first page to the last with a nice ending to make you feel content with a bit of a smile on your face. Some bits of steamy chemistry and emotionally captivating. Did not care for the misrepresentation of the word GOD on every page. I'm far from a religious person but I was taught never to use or disrespect the Lord's name in vain...so not a fan of the way it was casually disrespected throughout every page of this story. Other than that it was a great read and I have no qualms about recommending it for a great read. A ring Ella wore was mentioned several times throughout the storyline no clarification was ever brought to light about its meaning so still curious about that. Get it, read it and enjoy the laughs and all the smirky smiles in this fantastic fun read!
The beginning of the story will capture you. Ella goes to a club and because she was somewhat sheltered growing up, she is not used to drinking. Plus she is only 18. She gets drunk and Paul comes to her rescue. The entire time she is drunk with Paul is cute and funny. When her friend turns on her, I had a hard time reconciling the girl she described to the girl in the book. Ella seemed shy, insecure and sheltered. Paul was a nice guy. He loved girls and sex, according to him. When Ella hires him to be her boyfriend, I expected a little more tension. It was a cute story with a cute ending.
I don't ever read romance, but a friend recommended this to me and said it was "pretty cute", so I decided to give it a try. Well, I'll be damned. It is pretty cute. As far as I know, this is Mann's debut novel, and it's New Adult (I guess?). It's a fake boyfriend story, but it looks nothing like these abusive relationship books that seem to be all the rage nowadays. I don't know how to review a romance, but I rather liked this one. It made me feel good and made me think about things I hadn't thought in a long time. And I really loved the heroine, Ella. She may be innocent and kinda clumsy, but she is strong and determined and knows exactly what she wants. I never thought I'd say this about a romance book, but I really loved this one.
I was given a free copy of this via ‘voracious readers only’ for an impartial review
I loved the beginning of this story it completely pulled me in young girl gets drunk abandoned by friends and is rescued by a handsome boy it then kind of gets confusing I wasn’t really sure if I was coming or going for the rest of the story if seemed to be a bit up and down leaving me confused and thinking maybe I’d missed a few pages and information about Ella’s and the other characters backgrounds etc by the end of the story I was again completely hooked and routing for the main characters
It was an interesting read but not one I’d like to reread therefore I’ve given this 3 stars
Feel the author has done well for her first novel and hopefully will fill in blanks in future ones
I received a review copy of this book from the author through Voracious Readers. This is a cute little romance, on the lighter side, but definitely entertaining. The characters are all engaging and likeable, although I found Ella to be rather juvenile at times, but the characters are all college age so it actually works. The chemistry between Paul and Ella is obvious from the start, and heats up as the story progresses. The story is full of angst, drama, humour and romance and reads easily and flows well. This is a well written and entertaining novel.

This was a sweet, pure romance. It was well written, the characters are enjoyable and the story line is classic. I loved it! I won't spoil it, but if you enjoy a good romance, with a little bump or two, this is for you.
The book was good but there was an extreme over use of the word “huh” that made no sense half of the time. It made it less enjoyable of a read towards the end.
