Subhrajyoti Parida is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering (B.E.) from Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, India and holds a Post Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE) from National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai, specializing in Supply Chain and Operations Management. He is also an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and is currently employed in a Defence and Aerospace based organisation based in southern part of India.
When not managing supply chains, he loves spending time doing poetry, traveling, photography and of course, with his beloved wife and family.
His debut anthology of poems (solo), 'Bouquet - of emotions, feelings & thoughts...' published in August 2016, was awarded the 'Best Poetry Book of the Year 2016' by Salisonline.in The book is available for ordering online at http: //www.amazon.in/dp/9385783238/ .
He is also a contributing poet in anthology of poems such as 'Soo Much In Love' published by Raindrops Publishing Company and 'To my Dear Valentine' published by Hall of Poets, to name a few. His contributions are soon going to be published internationally in upcoming anthologies such as 'Dreamz' (edited and compiled by veteran author S. Bandyopadhyay) and 'Fire the Pyre', published by Poetry World.
His second book, 'My Mother- a tribute of a yearning son' is a non-fiction based on true events in his life which is also an emotional tribute of a 'yearning son' to his Dear Mother whom he lost to cancer in February 2016. The book is also a dedication to all the Mothers round the globe, in all her forms like a mother as Motherland, a mother as Goddess and a mother as Mother Earth.
Review: Fire is anthology based book in which 23 people works are compiled to present this book to reader, many of woman talks about how fire is symbol of pureness and every woman is pure, some take proud of fire in heart, of woman, some say woman is fire, and those who post short stories talk about mythological history of fire god and child in which he make his home as a soul resting in peace. But due to fire incidents in the village he has to be moved because he was son of fire, the fire of women is fierce and pure is said by another women, there is burning fire inside her that she always moving and taking care of other, and the topic related to fire and it is used as symbolism throughput the poem make some finest poems...
All the 24 people did a fabulous job by writing there work and editor did his fabulous work and make this anthology worth reading.
