This one is really focused on you doing it all yourself. I was hoping for something that allowed you to work with the premade oils, but there's not a really easy way to get the conversions done. Some helpful information for someone starting out with CBD oil, but not what I was hoping for based on the title or the preview of the book.
See my full review here. This useful book offers suggestions on how to make your own cannabidiol (CBD) infused products - balms, edibles, soaps, and more. You can use either purchased CBD oil - that's expensive, but you know exactly the dosage - or you can make it yourself with your own supply of cannabis buds, using the easy recipe for infused oil. Just keep in mind dosage will vary. I haven't tried a recipe from this book yet, but I've made both a skin balm and edibles from infused oil I made myself. So I could judge the recipes with some prior knowledge - they are generally simple to follow, with fairly easy to find ingredients, and ideas on packaging if you want to give these as gifts. The binding feels a little weak, but other than that, a great addition to the Grand Forks & District Public Library's nonfiction collection.
This is a great book if you like: CBD, cooking complicated things, making infusions, making tinctures and body care items, understanding math and chemistry and understanding industrial hemp farming. I was only interested in the first and last items listed above. So...there are better books for me.
