Celtic Magic & Kabbalah:: W.B. Yeats' Hermetic Order of Celtic Mysteries

Rate this book
This ritual can be perfecomed as ceremony or a smaller, even solo ceremony. It was first performed as an independent special event ritual at the Temple of Tehuti in Vancouver, 1998. After I was inspired by my research into my book, The Celtic Mysteries of W.B. Yeats: Irish God, Myths & the Kabbalistic Tree of Life fused with my love of the 1997 “Ritual For Peace In Jerusalem”, performed during that “Power Week” event in L.A. at the Eternal Order of the Golden Dawn. I requested permission from the author and the chiefs of the Order and Temple Tehuti before undertaking the magical work of this heartfelt operation.

As I performed and tested bits and pieces of this thaumaturgy on my own, I discovered especially through use of the Welsh druidic Charms of Making from The 21 Lessons of Merlyn with Celtic godform work of the elemental deities and the archdruids that the current was both deep and compelling, old but fresh and lively. I think the mixture of the living Welsh and Irish traditions seen in the work of John Michael Greer’s Celtic Order of the Golden Dawn (Welsh pantheon and language base) and my expansion work since the early 1990’s of Yeats’ Order of Celtic Mysteries (Irish pantheon and language) work well together.

I will not be surprised to see a greater merging of the two practices and perhaps even a fusion Order or collaboration of systems become popular in the near future as neopagans and hermeticists continue to develop together magically and find more and more common ground and opportunities to collaborate.
