STAND BACK BOYS, SHE'S COMING THROUGH!!!
Ok, 2 words. HOLY HELL. I'm not gonna sit here and tell you what you've already read or some of the other reviewers have said. Nope, that's not me. Now that we have that out of the way. I'm gonna give it to you straight. This is one of the hottest, streaming, sweaty reads I've had the pleasure to read. This is a one shot out of the gate gone. It hit the floor running. Miranda made magic out of thin air. I'm not lying either. No joking here! Nah uh! I knew Miranda was talented to the extreme but holy shit, she jumped that hurdle without a blink. I could tell you how realistic the characters and scenes were, but you've already read that. You've heard how great of an author she is, but I'm telling you, there are no words to describe her gifts of imagination and an eye for detail that makes her stories so real and believable. I can only say you don't have to take my word for it. Grab you a copy, get good and comfy, grab you a snack and a drink. You're going to be there until you finish the very last word. No lie. It's just that badass. Phenomenal job Miranda.

OMFG this is so hot!!!
So hot, so hard to put down, which is a pity because it just made it go so quick.
This is not the first book of this author's I have read and loved and hopefully will not be the last.
She details things so explicitly in her writing that it makes you feel like you are part of it, feeling it yourself.
I actually felt like I was one of the characters and I must say that this definitely left me feeling a bit flustered at times because I became so caught up in the story.
I look forward to reading her next book.
I am shifter addict when it comes to my reading and Miranda Bailey definitely keeps my addiction going.

I read this book as part of an arc program. I liked this book, I thought Daniel and Alayna were so in love and had a great connection as well as plenty of heat. Daniel was married to Antanasia, who was a vampire, but they had an open marriage. Antanasia had a lot of other lovers throughout the marriage, but Daniel did not, until Alayna. Daniel and Alayna were private investigators and when they work together late at night, Daniel kisses Alayna. They soon begin an affair, which is very hot and heavy. Alayna starts to feel guilty about the affair and wonders if it is enough for her. Alayna also has secrets of her own and she wonders if Daniel would ever accept her fully if he knew them. I liked this book, even though it does deal with infidelity, there is a genuine love between the characters. When all of the secrets are revealed, things change for everybody. Good one.

Very good paranormal romance. I wasn't sure this was a paranormal story until I was about half way through the book. Alayna works hard for a boss she's attracted to. Daniel is the very professional and far boss as he dedicated his life to being a private investigator. He's generous to his employees. Once Daniel makes his interest known to Alayna she's confused and uncertain since he's a married man. She cares greatly for Daniel but feels guilt over their affair. Suddenly, everything changes when she meets Daniel's wife, Anastasia. The author did a good job bringing the angst to life through the characters. There is explicit hot sex in the book. Ms. Bailey gave a very unique view on a werewolf's

This is a very erotic book about a man who falls in deeply love with a woman he employs. His wife of ten years is not upset but rather pleased he has found someone else to love. This is because she is a vampire and their time together will shortly end and she knows that he would like to be a father one day and maybe his new love will give him children. It is a very unusual situation that the three of them face and the book handles this with tact and consideration. A thought provoking story about a three way love triangle and excellent reading.

Both Hot and Sweet
A great quick read that is a combination of both hot scenes and sweetness. The characters are paranormal in so much as you have both a werewolf and a vampire, but the story is not centered on this. While the title is apt, the secrets are known to the reader and you can follow the characters as they discover the secrets along the way. Alayna is a strong character and you feel for her as she struggles with her morals and desires. Daniel is the boss. While at times he comes across all alpha, he is both kind and sweet with Alayna. There is not much story in this book and more a collection of hot scenes with quite the twist at the end. If you want a hot yet sweet book, this is for you.

If you want a story that makes you laugh, cry, relate to the wonderful characters then read and thoroughly enjoy Secrets. I wasn't sure about the hero being married, but the story deals with that with a great deal of sensitivity and surprisingly I ended up not having any problem with that given the context of the story - if you are dead set on sex outside of marriage then don't read this book, but it is a beautiful and charming story that deals with the humanity of people and I really enjoyed it and would recommend it most highly. I received a complimentary copy to read prepublication and am very glad I did. Kudos to Miranda Bailey for great work :)

I have only read a couple of Miranda Bailey's books but each one has been amazingly well written and the story lines are amazing. This one is no different in both statements. I loved David and Alayna. They both have this amazing personalities and the chemistry is off the charts. They both are strong and caring. David is a little bit alpha male but has a sweet side as well. Alayna is also a bit more dominant at times but also is softer. This is a quick read but so well written you can’t put down until you reach the end. It is definitely worth reading and it doesn’t disappoint.

This book was just okay for me. I thought it was a bit all over the place to begin with. You have a vampire, a wolf shifter and a man who is in love with both. Can a relationship like this work? I've read several books written by Miranda Bailey and this one just wasn't one of my favorites from her. Now having said that, just because it wasn't my favorite doesn't mean it won't be yours. So please look at all of the reviews and the synopsis of the story because it may be just the book you are looking for. I rate the book a total of 3.5 stars.

Great read! Alayna works for Daniel and is very attracted to him, but won't make a move because she knows that he's married to Antanasia. When Daniel makes the move instead, will she be able to handle being 'the other woman'?

Alayna is attracted to her married boss she's been fighting it since she started working for him. Daniel is in an open marriage with Antanasia who happens to be a female vampire. Daniel has been drawn to Alayna but hasn't done anything because of his love for Antanasia but when she gives him permission nothing will hold him back from claiming Alayna. When Alayna and Daniel finally give in Alayna thinks he'll be with her however the longer he says nothing about ending his marriage the more upset she gets. When she ends things suddenly and gives her two weeks notice Daniel doesn't know what to do. He begs her to reconsider but she stand strong in her decision. However Antanasia isn't about to let Daniel be upset for long when she learns that they are meeting one last time she makes an appearance. Antanasia offers a perfect solution for their situation that they become a threesome. Especially since her marriage will have to end soon before anyone notices she hasn't aged. However Alayna has one secret she hasn't told Daniel and Antanasia ends up outing her. Alayna is a shifter a wolf shifter to be exact. Can Daniel overlook her secret for them to continue their relationship? Can the three of them really work with so many differences facing them?
This is a great story about three individual having a unique loving relationship. The chemistry between Alayna, Daniel and Antanasia is sizzling hot. Once I started reading I couldn't put this down. I would recommend this to any book lover.

Daniel & Alyana Belong Together
I have read a significant number of stories by Miranda Bailey and was lookin forward to reading her latest book here. I really enjoyed the relationship between Daniel and Alyana which was full of love and raw emotion and they were so well suited. For the life of me, I just couldn't understand why Anastasia was even in the book as she added nothing towards this being a good read. If anything, when she came back and said she'd give Daniel a divorce and then immediately started on Alyana for a relationship ! So because of the redundant Anastasia, I can only give this three stars. This is, however, just my opinion and you may love the story and, If you get your own copy, you'll be able to find out if Daniel and Alyana get their HEA, whether Daniel will become a vampire. However, that will not stop me looking eagerly to reading Miranda's next story as I've enjoyed her other books so very much. The picture on the front cover shows Daniel and Alyana and that is who the book should have just been about in my opinion.
