Taming Their Omega

Rate this book
Six angry alphas versus one bratty omega.

I thought I was smarter than everyone else. That I could manipulate those around me.

I was wrong.

Now all these alphas have united to kidnap me and drag me to the middle of nowhere. They plan to use my body and break my spirit. I won't be free until I surrender to their every demand.

I'm their little omega prisoner, and they can do whatever they want to me.

But what if they want to make me theirs?

(Taming Their Omega is a standalone paranormal dark reverse harem romance. For mature readers only!)

Wrong genre plus a couple issues

There were a couple reasons I’m only giving this a three star so this might get long.

1. It says Omegaverse on the cover, it is marketed as Omegaverse, yet it is NOT Omegaverse. This is a PNR shifter RH, which I enjoy as well, but I bought this specifically because it was supposed to be an Omegaverse story and it’s not. I was disappointed within the first chapter by that. I don’t think the author understands what the Omegaverse genre really is and should have looked into that before labeling her story as such. It would be like me calling a story about humans on earth an alien sci-fi romance.
2. Although there are no typos, there are some editing issues in the story. Repetitiveness, as in using the same word or phrase within two-three lines so it sounds like she’s just saying the same thing over and over, was seen throughout the book.
3. The characters were a bit flat. Maybe because there were so many within such a short story, but none of the males were truly developed enough to be able to tell them apart besides maybe two of the six. The MC was also a bit...immature is the best I can think of. She jumps up and down at seeing one of the guys in his animal form even though he is her captor and the strictest of all of them. It just doesn’t fit the story.
4. Her ‘crime’ seems like a very weak excuse to have six men kidnap her to ‘punish’ her. It honestly felt like something the author came up with on the fly without really thinking it out very well.
5. The part about her friend Silas seems an unnecessary complication to the story that wasn’t well developed.

It was an ok story overall, though by the 60% mark I briefly considered DNFing it. It could have been so much better if a few of the things I mentioned were addressed and if it was properly marked as a shifter romance and not Omegaverse.

nice rainy day read

This was a short sweet smutty story. The steam is off the charts. It has a little plot. I love how there are different shifter species in this.

Didn't really care for this one. All six alphas put a collar on Emerald so she can't shift or contact anyone to help her. Then take Emerald down to an unknown location and makes her stay naked. She is a slave, being made to do things she doesn't want to do. Because she betrayed the Alphas and made them fight each other. Then she gets turned on and horny from being basically abused. I guess S&M time. Then they all fall in love. Emerald is 22 and is a Diamondback Rattlesnake shifter. The men are Case Jordan is Bear Alpha, Zac Law is Elk Alpha, Noble Dixon is Wolf Alpha, Theodore is Antelope Alpha, Ezra Hart is Fox Alpha, and Rowan Wiley is Coyote Alpha. This has a confusing happy ending.

Poor Silas … with spoilers to justify.

This book was really quite awful. Can’t sugar coat it, and I looked for things to redeem it. It wasn’t grammatical errors that made it bad it was the foundation and storyline, which in my opinion is worse.

Girl works at a coffee shop 6 alphas come into it to confront her about “what she did”. You find out that she tried sowing seeds of discord within the pack alphas so she could be their liaison… she wanted a position of power. So the alphas cart her out of her work and take her to their “detention center” to try to reform her. So reforming is basically her being naked the whole time doing chores around the house which then escalates to her getting physical/sexual with them…cue eyeroll.

During this time she’s able to get ahold of a beta in her pack who is in love with her and she asks for help… then later she communicates with him and says she’s fine and doesn’t want to be rescued after all. So prior to her saying not to come when she was telepathically speaking to this beta he was like “so when I rescue you we can like work on a relationship” and she’s basically like…”we’ll see when I’m out” kinda attitude… so then of course he tries to rescue her even though she said forget about it, he comes and the one alpha twists his neck and he dies….

Here’s where my issue lands. The female lead feels really guilty for A SECOND and then says to the alphas “none of us can be blamed for his death, it was self defense and he got himself in that situation it was an accident”…. (Cue a wtf face)… this kid wouldn’t have died if it wasn’t for this chick… I mean come on 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄. Poor freaking Silas- his funeral comes around and even his mom was like “yeah I don’t blame you it sucks but he died so you could live 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄” poor dude. And then the alphas were like “so it sucks this happened to your friend but we actually don’t care and take no responsibility for it so, you know, you can’t really hold his death against us”.

Let’s talk about the steam… it physically does not make a bit of sense…. Picture this: 2 d*s in The Who-haa and two d*s in the back door and one licking the cli*… and these are physically big alphas, of course 🙄 one is 7feet tall…… how are they going to squeeze next to each other… makes no sense. It’s not physically possible..

My last bit of annoyance is that in the epilogue she’s like “oh I’m done having babies 7 is perfect” then one of the alphas was like “hey so we talked about it, and decided you’re not done having babies we decided you’ll have another because we tell you to, so we’re thinking like maybe ten?” ummm how is this sexy??? I get the premise is a sexy take control alpha but that was my cherry on top… what is this book? Lol just plain awful, nonsensical filler.

Emerald, Case, Ezra, Rowan, Zac, Theodore & Noble

I really enjoyed reading this book about a young shifter who decides it's okay to create a bit of mischief in order to obtain what she believes is something she wants more than anything else in the world. Enter the parties involved who are the object of her mischief and she is in for a rude awakening. I loved the reaction she had at work...ha ha. It was priceless. I believed in what they were doing, however, I wasn't sure if it was something that was right. In their position of power, did they have a right to go to that extreme? The author got me interested by the hook, the hook got me wanting more and the story kept me intrigued until the last word. Such a great set of characters and delivery on an excellent premise.

I wish we could assign a negative star rating, because if we could, I would give this book a -100. Without a doubt, this was the dumbest book I have ever read. I nearly DNF at 45%. The only reason I kept going was to see how far down the “dumb hole” this monstrosity could go. It had a backhoe and just kept digging. The worst part is that it seemed like it was written by a middle schooler who thought they were writing a great, steamy read. If you’re ever stranded on a desert island and this book is the only item that was saved with you, I’d recommend that you jump into the blue lagoon and pray for some prehistoric creature to eat you alive. Cuz that would feel better than reading this shit.

I liked this but I was just not feeling the beginning of it. I thought it was just not a book for me but wanted to finish it regardless. I can honestly say getting towards the end it definitely became more of a book for me. The beginning I felt was a bit repetitive and I was not seeing the progress I thought should be there. The ending was great though. I really enjoyed that. Overall, the book was pretty good. I give it a thumbs up.

DNF 41% This is sadly not worth the time I took to read it. The characters are lackluster, the plot is thin and the writing leaves something to be desired. While this is very easy to breeze through as a no-brainer read, this was just not "seasoned" right for me. The main character completely grated on my nerves, flipping from victim to independent woman and back again. I'll try another book by this author and hope for a better fit for me!

Waste of time

This story was absolutely ridiculous I know it's fiction but Jesus try and make it some what believable! The idea that one woman could possibly fit that many things inside her and I'm trying to be as clean as possible so Amazon doesn't remove my review so just use your imagination. She has 6 alphas wanting and her and she says she manages to fit two in the front and two in the back yeah whatever so very stupid! Don't waste your money on this one!

I am a massive fan of reversed harem books. The book is really great. It has great paranormal reality. Great characters. Strong headed female and even more strong headed men. Plus BDSM twist. All creates yummy book. Really page turner. Enjoy. I would gladly read another book placed in the reality and style.

I think tf not

Absolutely not. I’m all for dark in my romances but straight up the MMs saying “shut up and do what we tell you to” and the FM simpering and thinking “I really can’t tell them no (even though she wants to AND she just did). Gross dude like this book was full on r@pey and stockholm syndrome the whole time. Little to no character development or plot development.

She thought she was smart and she is about to be pulled down a pet or two. She is taken by six alphas and hidden away. They will do anything and everything to her so she will bend to their will. What if they succeed? How will she deal with it? What if she gets pregnant? Follow her story

Super steamy story with BDSM, shifters and little build up. Can’t wait for the next in the series as this will be one I add to my permanent collection for when you want a quick hot read.

An Interesting Story

The only thing I can say is that I was really confused about the logistics of one woman and six men all together at the same time. Extreme flexibility? It sounded more twisted than an actual game of Twister!

This book is not in the omegaverse. It is a shifter RH.

The characters were fine but the storyline felt super insignificant, again fine but it was just weird. A lot of things never explained and there was just nothing to it.

One of my favorite revers harem books (its not a large one but also no small something in the middle)
For me it was fascinating to read this with the taming as one of the most important aspects in the book. But i was also able to read one of the hidden messages mills wrote in the text.

Although it was entertaining, this book lacks important elements in an omegaverse: heats and knots.

It is also described as dark. But I could not find the dark elements.

I finished this book because it is easy to read.

Eye roll

Had potential to be great but it just didn’t quite make it. The plot was flimsy, the Mc was annoying as well the rest of the characters

The general idea was definitely something that could've been good... but the way it was actually write was just so wrong. *Slight spoilers ahead*

For starters, not an omegaverse story. There are no heats or ruts, alpha/omega scents, bond marking, or general desperation of the "i am addicted to you" variety that comes with omegaverse. This had alpha, beta, and omega designations but the characters didn't necessarily have traits that abided by those.... basically gave of the vibe of a pompous "Mr/Mrs" title when alpha or omega was used to address someone. They were basically just shifters that had a power dynamic, but not anywhere close to being omegaverse.

The second very big problem was that the dynamic between Emerald and the alpha was straight abusive, and there's no other way yo put it. There was a pretty rotten power struggle that was going on in which the alphas wanted her to submit to them while simultaneously humiliating and degrading her for punishment, after having already kidnapped her. Not allowing her to wear any clothes, dumping cereal know the ground for her to clean up then trying to make her eat it, get on her hands and knees and beg to then have one step on her, nog letting her jave more than 5 minutes alone, taunting her, etc. All are such abusive things to do to someone, and it's not attractive at all. Probably the only one alpha in this where decent are Ezra, Rowan, and Theodore because they were the only ones who weren't cruel... but then surprise surprise, those 3 have minimal scenes and interactions.

This book was just so filled with abuse that it was uncomfortable.
