POV: Dual
I'm not normally a fan of second chance romances, especially where the man leaves the woman then comes back, but somehow this one still wormed it's way into my heart. Jase left Madison after his parents died and he didn't know of another way to take care of his underage sister than join the army and breaking things with Madison. While he was gone, Madison has a child with another man (who of course she never loved), and has had to struggle. Well Jase is back and determined to get Madison back and treat her daughter as his own. I love how interacted with her child, she was so cute! He was very protective and take charge and luckily he was there when she needed him. Just a good quick read that you should check out. This entire series has been 4 or 5 stars for me.

I really liked this second chance romance. After Jase's parents dies he goes into the arrive so he can take care of his younger service. Unfortunately that meant he had to break up with Madison.
Five years later he returns to get a second chance with Madison. He gets just that and also wins the little heart of Carrie.

Do over is book six in the alpha men series. This story is super short, fast paced and a nice read. This story is Jase in book five as he is Kim’s older brother.
Jase has loved Madison for years. They were once together. When Jase lost his parents and then joined the military, he broke her heart by breaking up with her.
I really loved how quickly Jase bonded with Carrie. It was super sweet to see them get along. I liked that Jase helped Madison deal with her custody situation.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read.

Plot: Jase and Madison were high school sweethearts, but his parents died and he broke things off and went into the military. He thought that was the best option for both of them at the time. Five years have passed, and he's back. He finds that she has a little girl, and when he goes to the diner where she works, her daughter's dad is harassing her. Jase takes over and takes care of things, and in the process, her daughter falls in love with him, and she starts to consider reconnecting with him.
Character development: Ugh, second chance romances always give me all the feels. I hate the "I left because you deserved better" trope. And by hate it, I mean I keep reading it and crying for the heroine. Madison didn't take him back all at once, which was nice to see. Jase was good with the apologies and his actions showed more than anything that he was there for her and her daughter. So a short story with a satisfying conclusion.

Already lost interest within the first few pages.
1 - Despite Jase breaking up with Madison she's still pining for him 5 years later, so then why did she date someone else? Why get pregnant with his child? It's just stupid.
2- I get why Jase had to leave and all, because he had to provide for his sister, but if he really cared about Madison, why not tell her? Why just assume that 5 years later he'll just pick up where he left off and not care if she has someone new in her life? Like I get these are "alpha" males and what not but it's just friggen stupid to think that way.
This'll probably be a dnf for me because I'm already pissed off at the stupidity.

Second chance romance!!!
Jade loved Madison with everything he had, but when his parents died five years ago he had to say goodbye and join the Army in order to provide a stable life for his thirteen year old little sister. He's back and he's looking to reclaim Madison, only now she has a little girl from her failed marriage and doesn't plan on letting Jade back into her life. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!

I loved the Do Over from Hope Ford, it is a quick paced and sweet second chance romance. Madison and Jace were friends turned lovers until grief, life, and choices leave him with no alternative but to walk away from his own happiness. Now Jace is back and ready to not only make amends for the decisions he made years before but also win his girl's heart back and claim her and her child has his own. A fantastic short story and I can't wait to read the the other books in the series.

A 2nd chance of love. Though it short, but it wasnt anything like insta love. Both MCs were two good people who're seperated by circumtances. And only H's determination that gave them the hope of rekindling their HEA romance. Sweet and warm story of two people that deserved nothing but happiness. Too short of a story though.

What a well written second chance at a first love. It had drama and love at first sight and second sight. However, one more sentence would have completed this story, and got that last star. I don’t want to assume how a story ends, I may be wrong. I want to read it. Everything up to that guessing game was great. I want that HEA, not a guess.

2nd Chance at the love of their lives.
Grief tore Madison and Jade apart. He felt it was his duty to leave and take care of his family but when he finally gets his second chance to right his wrongs he jumps in feet first and running to protect what is his. I love the possessive way he cares for his girls and the HEA is everything you want from this amazing author.

I bit better than in the previous book. Jase lost his parents at 20 and was now in charge of taking care of his baby sister. So he decided to break up with the love of his life and join the military. Fast forward five years, he is now clear-minded and knows he messed up big time. So he is now back in town determined to get the girl he left behind.

Oh. My!! I have inhaled this whole series in a day!!! This one is Jace and Madison’s story and why do men feel they have to give a woman up, live for years regretting it and then work to get them back?!! But you won’t hear me complain because this is a great read. Add Carrie to the mix and my heart was completely melted!!

Jase fell apart after the death of his parents. He realized he had a little sister to take care of. He sacrificed his relationship with Madison to help support his sister not realizing the big mistake he made. This was a pretty good read.
