Do Over (Alpha Men, 6) An Alpha Man, and BBW, Steamy Sweet Romance
Madison Jase and I were in love and going to be together FOREVER! And then he had to leave me. I spent the last five years dealing with a broken heart. I tried to move on, I met someone else and we had a baby together. But now, Jase is back and says he’s here to get what is his.
Jase I had to leave her. At the time I didn’t think I had a choice. But I worked all this time to get back to her. She thinks since her body has changed and she has a little girl now that I don’t want her. She couldn’t be more wrong and I’m going to prove it to her. I’m going to get my second chance… my do-over.
Note: This is a steamy, sweet, SHORT romance. It has a HEA with an alpha male and a plus-size woman that makes him hers! If you love short romances with insta love, hot love scenes, and a sweet story, then this one is for you.
USA Today Bestselling Author Hope Ford writes steamy, small town romances where the heat is high, the heroes are obsessed, and the love hits deep. Her stories are filled with protective alpha men who’ll do anything for their woman—and curvy heroines who finally get the love they deserve. If you like your love fast, filthy, and full of heart—you’re in the right place.
I'm not normally a fan of second chance romances, especially where the man leaves the woman then comes back, but somehow this one still wormed it's way into my heart. Jase left Madison after his parents died and he didn't know of another way to take care of his underage sister than join the army and breaking things with Madison. While he was gone, Madison has a child with another man (who of course she never loved), and has had to struggle. Well Jase is back and determined to get Madison back and treat her daughter as his own. I love how interacted with her child, she was so cute! He was very protective and take charge and luckily he was there when she needed him. Just a good quick read that you should check out. This entire series has been 4 or 5 stars for me.
I really liked this second chance romance. After Jase's parents dies he goes into the arrive so he can take care of his younger service. Unfortunately that meant he had to break up with Madison.
Five years later he returns to get a second chance with Madison. He gets just that and also wins the little heart of Carrie.
3.5 Stars Do over is book six in the alpha men series. This story is super short, fast paced and a nice read. This story is Jase in book five as he is Kim’s older brother. Jase has loved Madison for years. They were once together. When Jase lost his parents and then joined the military, he broke her heart by breaking up with her. I really loved how quickly Jase bonded with Carrie. It was super sweet to see them get along. I liked that Jase helped Madison deal with her custody situation. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read.
Romance genre: second chance Series: Alpha Men Length: 35 pages
Plot: Jase and Madison were high school sweethearts, but his parents died and he broke things off and went into the military. He thought that was the best option for both of them at the time. Five years have passed, and he's back. He finds that she has a little girl, and when he goes to the diner where she works, her daughter's dad is harassing her. Jase takes over and takes care of things, and in the process, her daughter falls in love with him, and she starts to consider reconnecting with him.
Character development: Ugh, second chance romances always give me all the feels. I hate the "I left because you deserved better" trope. And by hate it, I mean I keep reading it and crying for the heroine. Madison didn't take him back all at once, which was nice to see. Jase was good with the apologies and his actions showed more than anything that he was there for her and her daughter. So a short story with a satisfying conclusion.
1 - Despite Jase breaking up with Madison she's still pining for him 5 years later, so then why did she date someone else? Why get pregnant with his child? It's just stupid.
2- I get why Jase had to leave and all, because he had to provide for his sister, but if he really cared about Madison, why not tell her? Why just assume that 5 years later he'll just pick up where he left off and not care if she has someone new in her life? Like I get these are "alpha" males and what not but it's just friggen stupid to think that way.
This'll probably be a dnf for me because I'm already pissed off at the stupidity.

His parents were killed and he has a little sister to think about, so her breaks up with her. 5 yrs later he has his act together and goes after his love. Her little girl shows up with her daddy and hes drunk. He films the ex call the police to report a drunk and a lawyer that helped her get fuul custody. They work out getting to know each other and her little girl adores jase.
Jade loved Madison with everything he had, but when his parents died five years ago he had to say goodbye and join the Army in order to provide a stable life for his thirteen year old little sister. He's back and he's looking to reclaim Madison, only now she has a little girl from her failed marriage and doesn't plan on letting Jade back into her life. This is a great read and I highly recommend it!
I loved the Do Over from Hope Ford, it is a quick paced and sweet second chance romance. Madison and Jace were friends turned lovers until grief, life, and choices leave him with no alternative but to walk away from his own happiness. Now Jace is back and ready to not only make amends for the decisions he made years before but also win his girl's heart back and claim her and her child has his own. A fantastic short story and I can't wait to read the the other books in the series.
A 2nd chance of love. Though it short, but it wasnt anything like insta love. Both MCs were two good people who're seperated by circumtances. And only H's determination that gave them the hope of rekindling their HEA romance. Sweet and warm story of two people that deserved nothing but happiness. Too short of a story though.

What a well written second chance at a first love. It had drama and love at first sight and second sight. However, one more sentence would have completed this story, and got that last star. I don’t want to assume how a story ends, I may be wrong. I want to read it. Everything up to that guessing game was great. I want that HEA, not a guess.
Grief tore Madison and Jade apart. He felt it was his duty to leave and take care of his family but when he finally gets his second chance to right his wrongs he jumps in feet first and running to protect what is his. I love the possessive way he cares for his girls and the HEA is everything you want from this amazing author.
This was a very interesting story. He had to leave her when family obligations got too much. Now he is on his own and is back to reconnect with her. She has been the love of his life. And a child not his is not going to matter to him. But is she willing to take a chance on him after he left her before?
After being away for 5 years Jase is back in town - and he plans on getting his girl , Madison back. Madison has a 3 year old daughter now and she is afraid to let Jase into their lives because she fears he will leave again. Carrie's father is a real jerk and Jase plans on fixing things for Madison and their relationship. Super sweet story!
Well in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking this matter in a different way and without fighting and by trying to make it clear, and by considering each and every ones opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.
I bit better than in the previous book. Jase lost his parents at 20 and was now in charge of taking care of his baby sister. So he decided to break up with the love of his life and join the military. Fast forward five years, he is now clear-minded and knows he messed up big time. So he is now back in town determined to get the girl he left behind.
Oh. My!! I have inhaled this whole series in a day!!! This one is Jace and Madison’s story and why do men feel they have to give a woman up, live for years regretting it and then work to get them back?!! But you won’t hear me complain because this is a great read. Add Carrie to the mix and my heart was completely melted!!
What an amazing series this has been. Loved Jase, Madison and little Carrie. Jase has to convince Madison that hes back for good and is in it for thr long haul this time. My heart melted at hiw adorable he and Carrie were together and how attached they got so quickly.
This story is marvelous. Short, sensual, sexual, and delightful story. The lure of family with two characters a delightful mom and alpha protective male also a adorable little girl name Carrie.
I just couldn’t get over how quick she was was forgive him and let him take over her life. I get the between the hard and rock place but damn really? There was like 1 paragraph of groveling and then BAM hea.
Hope Ford gives you the quickest to the point love boost. I love that she doesn't mess around with a lot of filler words. Always good old fashion boy and girl bonding.
Madison doesn't know what to think when the love of her life Jase comes baxk after 5 yrs away and tells her they will be together. He loves her but can she take the chance he will leave again?
Jase has always loved Madison. 5 years ago he left for the military and Madison was broken hearted. Now he's back and he wants Madison. She has a little girl now and it's a package deal. Jase is all in but is Madison ?
I am absolutely looking these books. If you are looking for a short, tattoo alpha male, steamy and happily ever after you need to check out these books. This one was Jase and Madison’s story and it was incredible. I love second chances
Wow! Well done. I’m usually not crazy about second chance romance. I hate all the couple’s wasted time apart. This book did not give me this feeling, the story was told in a way that was actually relatable and totally satisfying.💖💖💖
Loved Jase and Madison story and Madison's daughter, Carrie, was the sweetest little thing. It was love at first sight when Carrie met Jase. It was really a do over for Madison and Jase who never stop loving each other offer the breakup and death of Jase's parents
A beautiful story of second chances and making things right. Jase left Madison after his parents death and when he got back he pretty much saves her and her little girl. He is so caring and loving with her daughter and I adore their story.
Jase fell apart after the death of his parents. He realized he had a little sister to take care of. He sacrificed his relationship with Madison to help support his sister not realizing the big mistake he made. This was a pretty good read.
