Blast a dû suspendre ses activités suite à l'arrestation de Shin et Nana Osaki finit par décider de se lancer dans une carrière solo. Mais sa relation avec Ren reste tendue et Nana Komatsu fait son possible pour arranger les choses.
Ai Yazawa (Japanese: 矢沢あい, Yazawa Ai) is a Japanese manga author and illustrator. Her pen name comes from singer Eikichi Yazawa, of whom she is a fan. Yazawa started her comics career in 1985. She specialises in shojo manga (girls' comics). Most of her works have been serialised in the magazines 'Ribon', 'Cookie' and 'Zipper'. Yazawa's stories focus on young, often rebellious women and their relationships. The characters are always very stylish, and Yazawa herself is known for her sense of fashion. (She even attended a fashion school for some time after high school.) Among her most famous manga are Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai (I'm No Angel, 1992–1995), Neighborhood Story (1995-1998), Paradise Kiss (1999-2004), and Nana (2000-2009), the latter awarded a Shogakukan Manga Award in 2003. Some of these works have been adapted into anime and live action movies.
I love that Hachi and Takumi are still friends in the future even though they're getting divorced...
Ren: "Don't give up, no matter what happens. Life is about getting knocked down over and over but still getting up each time. If you keep standing up, you win." Hachi: "That's exactly what Nana told me. <3 Hee Hee."
"Hey, Nana, have you ever heard a story like this? About kidnapped victims learning to love their kidnapper... The morning that glass broke, I asked Takumi to save me, because I thought I'd fallen into a trap like that. But I really loved him. Actually, I still love him... Even now." - Hachi

Things are getting really confusing! I no longer who is who's child, or what's really going on and when. I just want to read the remaining two volumes and get it done with.
Hachi and Nana spend a lot of time together in this volume, but things are clearly different. It's an interesting point for looking back at the start of the series, when they first became friends and shared the apartment. Part of how she shows her love for her friends is by pushing them like this, and Hachi and Ren's relationship that we see in phone calls is a bit funny. Something especially striking about this volume is The difference in the cakes Hachi made for Nana/Ren vs. Takumi was pretty funny. As usual, Takumi doesn't know why Hachi is upset at him (no surprise there). Spoiler quotes from this volume:
Spoilers below! Beware! Yes Nana is becomeing someone she can be proud of :) I really hate Takumi. He flat out says he is a womanizer. But Hachi forgives him cause he says he really loves her. Some things are starting to make more sense now. So the baby Hachi is pregnant with during the series has to be Ren... right? Cause he's the older brother. I hate Reira too. I don't care that she loves Takumi. Let her take him from Hachi, he's a miserable SOB. No, she loooovvvveeesss Shin and then throws herself at Takumi.... The hell????
this is so frustrating! all characters do is pass blame and responsibility around...like takumi telling shin to take care of reira, yasu telling ren to take care of nana, etc. and then, even if said characters do meet or talk, nothing is resolved and the problems just stay there. most times, they don't even talk about it. i get it, and i'm sure in some of these cases i'd act the same way myself...but it's been like this for volumes and it's getting more and more frustrating. plus i feel desperate! i got so attached to most of the characters that i wish i could help them myself. seeing this is just sad. and please, can't someone just look after ren a bit? i'm glad hachi called him, but i think he definitely needs someone who's closer to him. i don't know. i have a really bad feeling about this.
and, of course, just when i think takumi can't possibly be any worse, there it is. what a fucking asshole.
I can't believe how cruel they are towards Shin. Nana didn't hesitate to try to replace him for their performance even though they worked hard on it, Shin is still a band member and yet she treated him as a stranger. Then Yasu confessed not caring (or at least worrying) about him even though he is literally just a child (teenager but still, 15 is VERY young). Plus the fact that he was literally gr00med by that low-cost Reira and also Reira ??? Don't get me wrong, they are giving him good life advice and they should be severe with him, but they aren't for the good reasons. How come none of them cared about what the 15 y.o boy was doing alone at night ? Why does nobody care about the fact that he is literally selling himself to older women ? Anyways I hope he doesn't turn like them he's my fav character ಥ_ಥ

For the sake of sanity, I'm going to call Nana Komatsu 'Little Nana' and Nana Osaki 'Big Nana'.
Geez, I'm getting dizzy. This story keeps jumping around the timeline that I'm having trouble keeping up with what's happening when. All I know is that all the relationships are getting screwy and everything is falling apart at the seams. First Shin, then Ren, now Tamaki and Reira, and soon Big Nana. I feel like I'm in that one kind of water slide, you know, the one that's basically a giant toilet. I know where I'm gonna end up, but it's a dizzy downward spiral until you reach the bottom.
