Although their relationship is now out in the open, it's anything but a stress free time for Kayano and Takeru. Takeru's busy with his new part-time job, while Kayano studies for her college exams. But it's hard for her to focus when Takeru's about to decide on his mother's offer to accompany her on a trip to Italy. Will the young couple be able to handle such a long separation? And does Takeru have any reason to be concerned about a boy Kayano just met?
Who would’ve known? Takeru’s going to Italy… *rolls eyes* I don’t get why Kayano couldn’t go with him? She’s 18? I know I know… she wouldn’t be an “independent woman” if she followed her man… But to me, a career isn’t everything. You can’t be loved by your career. You can’t have a family with your career. You could die and your job wouldn’t give a shit and just replace you … *end of random rant* lol
Arghh, I love Takeru, but this volume makes me very angry with him. I can't believe that he'd toss their relationship aside after all they've been through. I understand he needs to retry with his mother to heal his past, but I feel terrible for Kayano. It's not like he's leaving for a month or two. Takeru is going to be gone for a year or maybe two years or more. It's not fair to make her wait for him. In this volume, it was heart-wrenching seeing Kayano dealing with Takeru leaving for Italy. Especially the scenes at the end because they seemed like such a perfect couple, but now Takeru's mom has busted in and ruined everything.
I don't get what's up with this Murokoshi/Ren dude. He is a tad on the strange side. When Kayano first met him, his glasses got busted or something and he asked her if he had a screwdriver on her. WTF, for real?! Cause every normal high school girl carries utility equipment in their bags. Ren just seems kinda creepy to me. They said he falls in love easily, so hopefully he'll get over his crush on Kayano and go leach on someone else.
Confessing to the person you like is never easy, having the attention seeking Edogawa Tekeru know who you like is even worse. Kayano thought high school was going to be hard enough but take on running errands for Takeru and it is almost unbearable especially when their parents are getting married and they have to move in with one another.
I loved the storyline development and growth of the characters. This is a series that I was really excited about reading. The romance does not start at the beginning but it grows stronger because of everything the couple has to overcome and go through. Kayano is a lovable personality and even though most people do not like Takeru in the beginning, he grows on you too.
Note: This review was completed after reading volumes 1-11.
Ugh, maybe I'm missing something, but I honestly can't see any reason why Takeru would want to go to Italy with his mom and leave Kayano for a whole year, especially when they only just now get to be together in public. I don't blame Kayano for being sad and lonely. :(
