Thank you Forge for sending me an uncorrected partial advanced reader’s copy of this book.

I jumped into this book with no knowledge of who Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark are and only listening to the podcast maybe once or twice. These ladies do an incredible job of making you feel sexy and reminding yourself there is no such thing as perfect.

One of my favorite chapters of this book was ‘Don’t Be a Lunatic’. Karen and Georgia both give you self-care tips and also tips on how to “not be a lunatic”. I had a pen by my side and underlined the sh*t out of this chapter.

I appreciate how open and honest both Karen and Georgia are about their history. I have read memoirs where I can clearly tell the author isn’t giving the whole truth about their history.

Directly after finishing this book, I downloaded all of the ‘My Favorite Murder’ episodes and I plan on binging them. I laughed and cried with these ladies and I look forward to reading the complete published copy of their book. I am now a Murderino ;)

I read this book to bond with my daughter who is obsessed with Georgia and Karen’s podcast and now book. ‘Stay Sexy’ book revealed their past failures in their jobs, academics, and bad boyfriend relationships. Dabbled in their childhood heart breaks, addictions, eating disorders and therapy techniques which all led to their fortunate success of their podcast, My Favorite Murders...

Both Karen and Georgia have biting wit, relentless stamina, bigheartedness and beautiful spirits that empower women to think before they make risky choices that could lead to their demise. Well written, funny, entertaining and insightful.

Saw this book at a thrift store and remembered how much I used to enjoy My Favorite Murder podcast. If you don’t listen to this podcast, no need to pick up this book— but if you are a Murderino, and you want to learn more about the hosts’ own lives— this memoir gives you pretty much what you would expect from this comedy duo. I laughed out loud numerous times, and I think I’ll go back to listen to more MFM shows— as I stopped listening to them for awhile after I noticed how much I was slipping the word “fuck” into pretty much every other sentence when I regularly listened to the show. And heck, fuck is a great word— I need to listen again!

Can't wait for the rest of this book!

I love these ladies, I spend a lot of my weekly commute listening to their 2 new weekly episodes and relistening to all the others. Just the sneak peak had me reading through watery eyes. Look and listen, and do it for Pat and for that grrrrl who finally stopped blaming herself. 💜

I absolutely adore this book, the authors, and their podcast. Though it's not a true crime book, it definitely covers the lives of the authors in a way that the podcast makes you desire. It's hilarious, inspirational, inspiring, and at times a little heart breaking. But overall a fantastic book I'll definitely read more than once.

I really like the authors of this book. They were vulnerable and funny and real. I’ve never heard the podcast so some of the references I didn’t understand. I enjoy their no nonsense way of talking and it helped me see a few things from a different point of view. Thanks ladies.

I don't hate it, but I skip through Georgia's parts. Just can not relate. Karen's where more relatable for me, still I fill like I connect more listening to them podcasting. I'm not even into true crime that much really, just love their jokes.
As a parent, I'm really annoyed by their paranoia and all the shit they give to free range kids. I wish my kids could enjoy today the freedoms I have had in my childhood.
Also, before the podcast, I've never heard it was scary to be a woman. IDK, I live in Ukraine, maybe it's different here ))
