Whether you're an established business owner or a scrappy entrepreneur with an idea, this book offers a step-by-step guide for setting up your digital marketing strategy.
What if you could optimize your social media to make more money? What if you could make your website the rockstar salesperson on your team? What if your email strategy handled the work of three salespeople? What if you could make the world a better place while doing it, no matter your business or budget?
The proof will be in the pudding... but I predict that the two hour investment I made in reading this little book will yield a high rate of return. More time consuming, of course, will be implementing the action steps outlined for determining an appropriate digital marketing strategy for my business. But more than any other author or speaker I have read or heard, Katrina German has spelled out exactly what I need to do. And there is humongous value in that!
I have said many times over the years that having the expertise I have is not the same thing as running a business based on the expertise that I have. Much as I have tried to learn the techniques of an entrepreneur, marketer, sales person, and business manager, I have regularly come up short. Books and articles by people who are experts in those arenas are generally difficult to decipher and apply to my business. Not so with Action Tracking. The language is clear, the steps to take are detailed, and the results to look for are specific. I can't wait to get started!
Action Tracking: Master Your Digital Marketing Strategy in Under 30 Days" by Katrina German provides a comprehensive, step-by-step guide for both seasoned business owners and budding entrepreneurs. The book offers practical advice on optimizing social media, transforming your website into an effective salesperson, and enhancing your email strategy to perform the work of multiple salespeople. It promises actionable steps to improve your digital marketing efforts, regardless of your budget, while also making a positive impact.
This is a slim and accessible volume that is aimed at small business owners and entrepreneurs, though I think it would be of use to anyone who wishes to market themselves or their work, for profit or not. German provides guidance on social media, website, and email strategies. Though I think this book is the most useful for nascent online marketers, I think that even those with some experience, like myself, will garner something from German's tips.
