Author - Cartoonist - Daydreamer.

Josh Langley grew up in Shenton Park, Perth Western Australia, where as a child he was constantly exploring, daydreaming, drawing, writing stories and creating music.

While not academically gifted and having failed high school twice, it didn't stop him from having a successful 20-year career in radio and advertising winning many awards including 2 Australian Commercial Radio Awards and being a finalist in other national and international awards.

In 2000 he started his own creative agency and lectured copywriting at one of the most prestigious acting and media universities (WAAPA) in the country. Around the same time, he turned to painting as another form of self-expression which led him to be exhibited at the 2002 Perth Fringe festival.

In 2010 Josh started drawing the successful Frog and the Well cartoons which spawned 2 books published by Big Sky Publishing, Frog and the Well: Unconventional Happiness (2011) and Follow Your Heart: Everyday wisdom for an extraordinary life (2012). Then in quick succession Josh published two ground-breaking memoir/self-help books; Dying to Know: is there life after death, and Turning Inside Out: what if everything we’ve been taught about life is wrong,

In 2016 Josh returned to writing and illustrating, creating a new style of Children’s book about self-esteem, feelings and resilience, which would appeal to both kids and adults. Being You is Enough and Other Important stuff received outstanding praise from parents and teachers and It’s Ok to Feel the Way You Do won the ABIA Small Publisher’s Children’s Book of the Year in May 2018.

In early 2016, Josh left his career in radio to run his own Advertising Creative business and pursue his love of writing and illustrating. His new self-help/memoir, Find your Creative Mojo: How to overcome fear, procrastination and self-doubt to express your true self is now available.
Josh currently lives in the South West of Western Australia, with his partner and a bunch of neurotic chickens. His favourite item of clothing is his sarong.
