It was only supposed to be a weekend contract. But Daddy had other plans. Weekend playdates are my stress release. Contract a girl, have some fun, get back to business. But Jaelynn isn’t like my other girls. There’s more to her; more substance, and a sensuality I can’t just ignore. She’s also a naughty girl, but I have no trouble bending her over my knee, or to my will. She thinks she’s holding all the cards this weekend, but by the end, she’ll know who her Daddy Ever After really is.
***Note*** This story first appeared in the Daddy's Demands anthology, it's been tidied up and, since the original book is no longer available, released separately.
Daddy Ever After is set in the Annex, that appears in bothBeast and Tower. This can very much be read as a stand-alone story, though the other books are well worth reading too!
It has a very sweet feel to it, being fairly low on angst, but has plenty of heat too. It wouldn't be a Daddy Dom book if there wasn't some spanking, so if that offends this isn't the book for you.
Jaelynn was very naive and on a path to her own destruction, thank goodness she had the amazing Hunter to warm her bottom and set her on the right path. This couple were just amazing together and I fell in love with both them and their story.
Since this is a fairly quick read, and I don't want to give any of the plot away, I won't talk about what happens. Instead I'll just say that, whilst on paper I might have passed over this story as insta-love and a naive heroine aren't always my thing, the wonderful writing and believable connection totally hooked me into it.
Highly recommended to all DD/lg fans, as well as anyone looking for a hot, quick and very feel good read.
This novel has a thrilling pace that will keep you eagerly flipping through the pages to find out what happens next with the characters. The story features a determined woman seeking revenge and an alpha male who knows what he desires - her - and won't accept anything less. This book was steamy and everything I am looking for in a Daddy Romance. I just recently found Mesha Stone as an author but now I am reading all the things!
I enjoyed this fast-paced novella. Jaelynn has gone to work at the Annex, a place where men are invited to hosted parties and buy the time of woman for their various sexual proclivities. Everything is discussed, and a contract is written. Jaelynn has ulterior motives for working there, but when she disobeys the handlers and is approached by Hunter, she will agree to his terms, provided he will agree to hers.
The story will have Jaelynn not fully reading the contract, Hunter demands to be called Daddy, and even convinces Peter to allow him to discipline her for her infraction at the party. With her naïve innocence, Hunter will call her on the floor for more than her naughty behavior. What will he do when he learns what she is up to?
The chemistry between Hunter and Jaelynn is explosive from the start. He dominates her, punishes her and can even be sweet. They have a no sex clause, her demand, and he honors it—but what if they both decide to forego and take things further.
“I’m never letting you go—I don’t think I can give you back.”
The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly, but it also has Jaelynn letting go of the past and accepting she can’t change what happened. She learns to trust Hunter that he will be her Daddy and take care of her, even if it means punishing her. The story has several punishment scenes, some mild age-play scenes, and explicit sex scenes.
This is a short, sweet, and hot little story. Measha Stone managed to give us something that balanced out the spice and the sugar really well, and gave us a really good story.
Jaelynn is at the Annex because she wants to meet someone specific. But instead of meeting who she wants, she meets Trouble. Trouble is named Hunter, and it turns out that he is exactly what she needs. He wants to be her Daddy, and she doesn't know if she wants to be his little girl, but she's got a weekend to find out.
I think that Hunter is really perfect for Jaelynn. She really needs someone who can help her and who can let her relax and who will take care of her. Jae may want things, but Hunter is the one who will make sure that she gets what she needs.
Marked this as too short, but am not sure length would have helped. The major conflict is the criminal hero works for his criminal uncle - who murdered her parents by blowing up his own building. But she accepts she’ll never get revenge because of her own weakness and the H’s magical c@ck. I guess. Ended at 84% because of ads.

The book cover and premise seemed promising, but the beginning is confusing and makes no sense. There is no real story and the characters instantly get together with no getting to know one another, and we don’t know who these characters are, and there is no resolution or attempt around avenging the murder of her parents.
I didn't knew i already read this novella when i picked it up to gauge this authors writing. But when i remembered i read it anyway and was convinced to read more because the flow is good and the story was somewhat sexy and sweet.
Moving along at a clipped pace, the story seemed pitch-perfect at first. One thing you will find in Measha Stone's books is no miscommunication. Characters open up early and easily. It helps with the overall conflicts and lets the story breathe. It also sets up the pacing of the story to feel breezy and light, even if the subject matter is a little dark. Here we have the MMC, aka Daddy, aka Hunter. A man of dubious means, darkish goals, and motives is showing up as a catalogue event to let off steam with a paid-for sub. I appreciated that the DaddyDom vibes here weren't stringent. The language, rules, and discipline were there, but there was no age play or age regression. We didn't get hardline boxes. I appreciated all the good smutty, smutty sex we did get within the confounds of "Are you being a good girl?" or "Do you want Daddy to make you come?" vibes, which was pleasant. Then we have Jae aka Jaelynn aka Brat extradaionare. I'm not into Brat FMCs. That just isn't my bag. I also try to avoid young or young-minded FMCs. Here, there is no telling of Jae's age. I'm going to assume 21-22 based on what little info we do have, and using context clues, she's under 25 but older than 21. However, some of her ideas are a little stupid. I know she warns us that she leads with her emotions instead of her mind and doesn't think things through, but seeing it in action at pivotal moments took me out.
All in all, the book hits all points until the very end. The last 5% just lands with a dud. Measha Stone ranges from gray (Beast) to pitch-black (Dolly). This is one of her lighter fare books. If you want a little bit of darkish mid-gray story, stick this one out. That means the MMC is less anti-hero bad boy and more sweetie.

Highly Recommend this stor, but might want to read Beast first, then this and Tower immediately after this to understand the interrelationship of the characters.
I really enjoyed this quick read. It rapidly presented likable characters and drama leading to “happily ever after” conclusion. I wish I had read this one before Tower, but I will probably go back to review the Damien, Hunter, Jae dynamic as presented in that novel. Some of the explicit themes presented by other authors just disgust me and show more of the authors’ proclivities without adding to the story. I hate humiliation of women. But the Measha Stone stories actually illustrate how DS relationships work and can work in enhancing the work, love and family lives of the characters. This story could have benefitted from a bit more of how the decision between a weekend contract and a lifetime commitment happened, but it didn’t suffer without it. It was explained in a “meant to be, the karma just clicked, destiny type of a way.
I love how these stories build on one another. Like James Joyce and other epic drama writers, the books might benefit from a section on the characters and family relationships. But when reading together as a group at the same time, it isn’t necessary, only might be helpful.
Daddy Ever After is a stand alone romance that fits within Ms. Stone’s Ever After Series. Jaelynn is a submissive working in the Annex, but she has an alternative motive, revenge. When Hunter buys her for a weekend of total submission, Jaelynn accepts the terms, but isn’t expecting Hunter to be the Daddy she never knew she needed, nor that he’d be so close to her revenge. When the weekend is over, can they both have more than they expected?
Wow, I loved this story! I loved how quickly and fully Jaelynn and Hunter found their connection, and I loved that Jaelynn, while a little inexperienced, submitted beautifully to her Daddy! Hunter was perfect for Jaelynn, where he could be stern, but loving and protective, all of which she needed to bring out that submissive side. The drama in this story was interesting and kept me turning pages just as much as the Daddy Dom developing relationship did, too! Definitely a quick read, but still full of an emotional bond, personal growth, and even a little insta-love!
Jaelynn wants revenge for her parent's deaths and got herself work at the Annex where girls were contracted to be rented out for specific periods of time. She hoped to get to her target of revenge through the rich men that frequent the Annex. Things don't exactly work out that way but Jae's experience is exciting, sexy and surprising for her. Hunter isn't exactly what she expected but he was what she needed. A firm disciplinarian and the patience and care of a daddy any little girl would love to serve. Revenge will have to wait as Jaelynn and Hunter discover all they can with their daddy/little girl dynamic and unquestionable attraction.
Hunter and Jaelynn’s story is intimately quick addition to the ever after saga. Jaelynn comes to Peter with one task in mind, revenge for her parents murder. Hunter contracts her for the weekend to learn the truth behind her motives against his Uncle. In an eventful weekend of no intercourse weekend, she comes face to face with the man she’s been seeking revenge on for the past five years in the house of the man she has broken every rule with and fallen for. There is so much excitement packed into this short but still exotic story, there’s no time to stop turning the page until the end.
Measha Stone is one of my go-to reads and her Ever After series is among my favorites because I’ve always loved fairytale retellings. The men in this series are deeply conflicted and a little on the dark side. At times things are very dub-con, or even outright non-con but by the end you usually end up liking them anyway.
In Daddy Ever After you kind of start out already liking him because he rescues her from a worse fate, but that doesn’t mean he’s a nice guy straight out of the gate. Because this is a novella, things are fast-paced and at time it seems like some steps are skipped to get to the HEA resolution at the end, but the ride was still enjoyable.
Not bad! Jae and Hunter made cute and spicy scene. Just that the plot is slightly too short and not so happy with how it ends.
Hunter’s uncle killed Jae’s parents in a factory which he planned to burn down and claim insurance. She joined the ‘club’ so that she could met him and seek for revenge. Turns out Hunter saw her and wanted her.
Plot is kinda short and the spicy scene also too short for me! How i wish the whole description can be much more longer.
Jaelynn sets herslf up in a position to get her revenge, but things don't go quite to plan. Hunter spies his latest flavor of the weekend and when it's all said and done he takes her for the weekend. Hunter will not allow her to proceed with her plans once he learns of them and he is determined to keep her for himself. Hot and sexy and a great read. I love this series!
This was a four star read, but I really don’t like mafia stories (where the main characters are mobsters, not that the mafia might create the story’s problem to be resolved). The mafia connection wasn’t covered in the sales blurb and wasn’t disclosed until about half-way through the book. It turned out that the story set-up and the main conflict of the book revolves around a mob related death. I don’t like reading these kinds of stories. YMMV.
takre loved how this book wasn't a slow burn. The characters got right to the point said what was on their mind or what they were feeling. It was a breath if fresh air not having the story plot drug out! A really great book and i cant wait to read the next one in this series! Also let not forgot the sexy scenes. They were hot as he'll! Daddy can take me over his knee anytime!
Measha continues with her Ever After series with her newest installment, Daddy Ever After. In it we see Jaelynn discover that while her motives for joining Annex were for revenge, she finds out she has a love of submission and a love of Daddy Don/little girl dynamics. This was a sweet story and a quick read. Very well done Measha.
Wow wow wow I love how Measha writes.. the story grips hold of you from the first page and doesn’t not let go till the last..and I love it. With twists in the story line of revenge to family arguments and running away to a Daddy Dom who just wants to love his little girl this will definitely be one to be reread over again...
So this was the first Marsha Stone book I’ve read. The cover is what originally caught my attention but the story pulled me in. The first chapter was a bit odd for me but it made it that much more intriguing. I can say I was not disappointed with the way the story unfolded or ended.
Very cute but very short. The author managed to write a very well written story in a short book and make it feel like a long book. I am impressed. The story was an easy read and even though you know that everything would turn out in the end, there was still suspense and action in it. The characters were very fun and interesting. I enjoyed it.
This novella is the third story in this series, but the first that I've read, and was easily read as a stand alone. It was a little quick on the insta love, but I liked that wasn't too over-the-top Daddy Dom, nor was it all that dark.
Sexy impact play-check, hot tattooed alpha-check. Little, naughty, lost girl looking for the right man to give her what she wants and needs. A fabulous short read!
Loved Jae and Hunter. Hunter is such a beast yet the perfect Daddy and just what Jae needs. Throw in the twisty plotline and Jae's strong nature, and Daddy Ever After becomes a favourite!
A girl with a plan (?) for revenge meets a dominant male who makes it clear to her that she really has no plan. Great characters, good story line, and spankings what more could you want?
I enjoyed this book but it could have been better. I say this because I wanted more. It had so much potential to expand but it didn't which made me frustrated. I wanted to see more of this relationship. Had it been longer it would have been a higher ranking.
Holy smokes the the storyline flowed from the beginning until the end and I absolutely love this book. Who doesn't love BDSM?new autnor for me and cant wait to read more of her books.
This was actually adorable. They were cute together and dealt with the elephant in the room surprisingly like adults despite the circumstances more mature than lots of non-dom books. It was a quick fun read
