I will most definitely not going to submit my authority and accept you as alpha to be your luna. I am the first ever Female Alpha, and I’m determined to stay like that forever.
For Mikalya ‘Mink’ Carnel, the only female alpha in the history of time, pack is family and family is everything.
Fearless and stronger, she defies the natural order of things as the first woman to lead a pack of female-dominated wolves. And just like any alpha, she is ready to defend her pack from any threat. But what happens when the threat this time turns out to be far different than what she’s expected?
For Rhys Valkyer, the strongest leader of the largest pack in all Asia, power is everything.
Faster and stronger than almost any other wolf in the country, he has never known defeat. But what happens when wolves that venture too far out in the mountainous regions of the Himalayas never return?
Rhys and Mikalya are both powerful alphas, and their story isn’t like any other. Although mated to each other, their attraction isn’t instant.
Will these two formidable leaders of the strongest packs of the world begin a new war for dominance? Or will they embrace all that they are to each other and give in to the fierce attraction powering the greatest desire and passion both of them will ever experience?
I love to paint, write stories and poems, and READDDDD!!! I’m a feminist (kinda) and I hate it when cute little girls are pushed around and get hurt by the bad boys and the players, so I try to get back at ’em… through my stories. I like to read a lot of stuff, but they are almost all supernatural. Vampires, lycans, zombies… you name it. Just… not the kind of zombies that fall apart. *yuck*
This book and with a twist and cliffhanger. As we are introduced to packs and pack wars in Asia. Has lots of interesting twist and turns but would have liked an ending to the story.
This book started off good but then it lost traction. I hated how weak Rhys had become as opposed ro the start. Also the FL was so stuck on her old mate even though majority of the book was written from both her's & Rhys perspective. It seemed disrespectful and Rhys was portrayed as a 2nd thought from the FL as well as his importance to his pack and how much of a leader he started off as for majority of the book. To add insult to injury the writer had the FL's ex tell her to let him go (she didn't) just to bring him back as a cliff hanger further humiliating Rhys. I don't plan to read the 2nd book.
All the things I hope for when I pull up a book about a strong independent female protaganist. I love the romance clean subtle and appropriately drawn out in a way that makes the relationship related and engaging. Fun quick read , curious about next part of this story!
I loved the book. I read it when it was first coming out on Wattpad so long ago. The story was well written and the characters just made you feel for them. The book is probably on of the best that I have read out of the genre.
I love how there is a female alpha, but the character personalities are undefined and all over the place. There are no rules, not set standard or consistency in their mannerisms. I have up at 60% and have zero compulsion to finish.
This was a good story, with descriptions and a strong female lead that kept my interest for the most part. However I was disappointed by the somewhat abrupt ending that left me feeling like I missed something. However, I would read more by this promising new author.
This amazing book I won't give too much away but if you like werewolf books this is a must read. Hoping for another book in this series. I couldn't stop reading this book.
