Primero que nada, considero que fue un gran error dejar vivir a Date, imagino que más adelante eso les va a pasar factura...
Al fin Ryota se dio cuenta de lo ingenuo y confiado que es y eso es realmente malo, bajo el contexto en el que se encuentra.
Al fin Ryota se dio cuenta de que Himiko es la Himiko del juego de Btooom!, la chica con la que se casó virtualmente, no me había puesto a pensar en su diferencia de edad🤔
Aquí se encuentra un claro ejemplo del determinismo del que habla Freud, me refiero a la manera en la que se comportaba su padre con Ryota y como él empezó a comportarse de igual manera con otras personas, hasta con su padrastro.
Me dió mucho tristeza la muerte de Taira, claramente mantener a una persona en la incertidumbre en un contexto como el que se desarrolla Btooom! no es la mejor idea.
Por lo que parece, el anime animó hasta el tomo 9, que ganas de leer el próximo tomo.

I've had enough of this series. It's grown downright pathetic. The bad guys can afford to be bloodthirsty because they're bad, but the good guys can't even get some good old fashioned revenge? All this is going to bite them on the behind eventually. I assume, because I'm moving on. There is better stuff to read out there.

So Ryouta still isn't dead. In fact, he tricks Date into bombing himself. Murasaki whom the good doctor betrayed on multiple occasions has him dead to rights, but doesn't deliver the killing blow. She even heals him in the end. Women... But wait, the men aren't much better. The feverish Taira starts to have hallucinations. He convinces himself to target the others, collect their chips and leave the island to return to his family. He even manages to detonate a bomb close to Ryouta. Friendly fire, amiright? But Ryouta can't die. He's the main character. Himiko steps up to protect him like she did way back when, in the virtual Btooom! Taira panicks and, surrounded by the giant lizards, kills himself. All Ryouta can do is regret that he lost a friend. And yell 'whyyyy!!?' Pretty pathetic.

Sadly, this series has turned into the classic '70s comic trope of "villain of the week," and it's getting tiresome to read. Every volume introduces a new villain that the heroes overcome, yet somehow they never dirty their hands, as each villain usually dies by their own doing. The plot armor surrounding the two main characters is shameless; there are ways to protect key characters without it feeling cheesy and poorly written, but the author clearly lacks creativity. Hopefully it picks up in the next few volumes—otherwise, this is going to be a painful read to the finish line.

Retomando la serie a full. El personaje de Taira adolece de un pelo más de profundidad, pero este octavo tomo se salva por su extrema fluidez. No me aburrió en ningún momento y se van juntando las conexiones entre los protagonistas Ryota y Himiko. La idea igual está bien: que vaya lenta la aclaración de esa relación, así la acción sigue siendo lo importante, pero el motor de la historia puede ir variando más adelante para no aburrir

Me gusta la facilidad con la que se lee este tomo en particular. Muchas escenas que tienen su mejor explicación en simplemente imágenes.

Ahora, la psicológica detrás de cada personaje tiene toda una nueva gama de detalles. No solo porque por algo cada uno está donde está sino también en cómo cada uno se da cuenta de dónde está parado.

This is a manga that's better than hunger games. Has more realistic events and tragedies. People die and dark things come to light not for the faint hearted. Good art style and characters.
