Full disclosure: I co-authored this book. And I loved writing about John Deere tractors. That's where I discovered that John Deere, the man, had nothing to do with John Deere tractors! He died 30-some years before the first tractor. But he built a better plow and redefined marketing, which changed America. It also inspired me to write a picture-book biography: John Deere, That's Who (Henry Holt).John Deere, That’s Who!
