Will’s schemes were always stupid, but when a plan to court the new girl Vivian goes awry and lands the highly ostracised, highly out Arthur Pendragon in Merlin’s life – well, as a comfortably heterosexual man, he has nothing to fear from that right?
Normaly I hate the "i´m gay, but heres my girlfriend" trope, because of the outcome (that is: quite everytime a big fight with said girlfriend and the real boyfriend). But this was actually very well executed and not painfull to read :) Because the big fight did not end exactly as expected and that was just wonderfull.
What I liked most: - Arthur is the first to make a move on Merlin (most times it´s the other way arround, and I quite liked this forward Arthur) - Merlins realisations and charakter growth - the writing: between Merlin/Freya and Merlin/Arthur you feel the differnence when you read the passages. These are so so extremely different, and i liked that
