After hearing the bad news, Joe Moretti was faced with a difficult decision. He could either fight for his life, or peacefully accept his fate. Unfortunately, his decision wouldn't simply affect his life. What if Joe wasn't around in three years to save 3 year old Diana Doyle after she fell onto the tracks in front of a moving train? And what if she in turn never became a doctor with the ability to save lives? Maybe even the life of someone Joe cared deeply about? DESTINARE is a story that demonstrates how each life is connected in ways we don't even realize. One person's life affects another's. Which in turn impacts another...and another...and another...until the circle is completed and we arrive at our destiny.

This is an easy quick read that I finished in one sitting. I personally much preferred 'The Music Box' by Matt Micros but did enjoy this read, it is quite emotional at times and obviously being fictional is a little far fetched but isn't all fiction at times? The way all the characters interconnected with each other and impacted on each of their lives was very well thought out and I would recommend this for a quick simple read.

Book Review:
Book Title: Destinare
Book Author: Matt Micros

Introduction: I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads. I decided to read this book since I was craving some quick, short reads and this book fit the bill!

Synopsis: Everyone's lives are interconnected in some way. If we didn't make certain decisions in our past, how would the future turn out? This book has everyone connected (and it gave me a short but sweet, with less themes Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell feel) and it's very clear and obvious why they are.

Review: Dear readers, this book is FICTIONAL. It even states in the opening lines that it is FICTIONAL. I've read other reviews where people were upset about the twist ending in this book, but the book is FICTIONAL and, therefore, can have any ending it wants to be and does not need to be realistic. Did I like this book having an unrealistic ending? No. But did it fit with the novel? Yes. This book has a big plot twist at the end that shows how lives can be connected, and makes it clear that anyone's decision will have a big impact on other people (whether you realize it or not). So, since I have mentioned the word FICTIONAL four times now, I feel like whoever reads this review should get the point.

This book is an easy, quick read that I managed to finish in one go. I sat down for an hour and took my time through it, and I really enjoyed it! It definitely didn't blow me out of the water and want to scream at everyone to read this book, but I really liked it. The theme of everyone being connected in some way and how our decisions affect others was a great plot driver for this story. There were times where I felt like the book was a little cheesey, but it worked within the context.

If anything, I would have liked some of the stories to be extended. I really liked reading about each individual character, but some of their chapters were just to short! You'd move onto the next chapter and it felt like fifty years had passed in those few lines!!

Overall, I really like this novel. I'm impressed and I would definitely recommend people who want a fictional but short read to pick it up! Matt Micros did a fantastic job and I want to read more by him. The characters were relatable, the story hit home quite a few times, and the themes were realistic (minus the final plot twist, but hey, it's literature! Everything does not have to be super realistic!).

Four out of five stars.

"I am the master of my fate. I am the captain of my soul." -- Invictus

Holy moly, this novel is beyond amazing ! The author does such a fantastic job of weaving all these characters into the story.. and how the all connect is amazing. I was reading this novel at work today and at 2 different times I started to tear up. The twists and turns this novel makes, keeps you on your toes... and definitely leaves you thinking about the choices you make in life... and what is destiny.. and do you believe in it.
I'm not a spiritual person, but this novel rocked my socks. I would highly recommend to anyone ... MUST READ !!!

Destinare is a novel based on how each individual is entwined with another, and how someones decisions affects others. It begins from one persons life and jumps to another, demonstrating the connections in ways people do not realize. Reading Destinare was a real eye opener, and changed my perspective on some topics in life. The story's title fitted with the book, yet gave nothing away. At first the novel was hard to follow, but became easier when the characters names and links were memorised. From struggling with cancer, to boy bands and elimination, it was filled with tales of peoples lives. The novel was well written and descriptive towards the characters backgrounds. Nothing needed to be changed or fixed for future publication as the spelling, language and grammar was perfected. I would recommend the book to young adults and upcoming teens. Even adults could still find the book intriguing. Over all Destinare had an interesting perspective on life, and was meaningful.

I won a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed this story. i was a quick easy read and very uplifting. I read other reviews in which stated the book was unrealistic which i don't disagree with, chances of the events happening are unlikely, but to me that isn't the point. The point is to explore the possibilities of what would happen if such events do happen, this is what i got out of the book. I liked the theme that we are more connected to others than we know and that the people we encounter in our lives our their for a reason or a purpose. As to the idea that a cancer cure is possible and big pharma has buried it, I actual believe that is the case. Yes I recommend this book for those you like a quick uplifting read.

I won this book on Goodreads Giveaways. It is a very easy read and the story shows how one event in a person's life can influence other people, maybe even save their life. It is about a person's destiny. Is it true that we are masters of our own fate or outside forces that influence our decisions? I received an autographed copy of this book. This book really makes a person think.

This book had a point that it really wanted you to understand and that was how I felt about the book the whole time that I read it. The book wasn't really bad it was just very okay, I don't feel anything special towards it.

Interesting story about how lives are interconnected. What if someone died younger & never met, married or helped others in their lifetime? What if they lived; how would their life impact others
It also ended sort of abruptly I found.
