The four stars are relative to these whole "5-Minute Stories" compendiums. On the whole, they are a bang-for-the-buck type of deal. The stories in this one range from Adam West campy to a bit too convoluted for a five minute children's story. My daughter loves learning all the characters since she knows that I like Batman and there aren't any 3-year-old appropriate Batman shows so this is it for her.

Probably because they're five minute stories, but Batman never gets into enough hot water for any of the endings to feel satisfying. It was however, a nice way to see a good mix of his rogues gallery.

This book is fine, but sometimes the stories, by virtue of being cut down to five minutes, are a bit rushed or weird.

My son loves Batman. Having so many short stories in one book makes it a great bedtime book.
