I love a good Anthology and this short story one had me thinking I was a child again and my Mother was reading to me a bedtime story every night. Only theses are on the dark side with paranormal and that makes it a whole different level of bedtime stories, these authors are either crazy, warped minded, have a huge imagination or just that damn good to pull off such amazing short stories and not get away from the original version. Each one I had to think which Fairy Tale is was associated with, as they were all told from the genius minds of these authors.
I support this Anthology, as it is for Make a Wish Foundation. This foundation is so necessary to give the families of very sick child a time to relax, forget and make memories. The kids so deserve to be a kid, if only for a day, and this foundation makes these kids dreams come true. My Grandson had a dream come true from this foundation and the family memories they made is priceless. Thank You Make a Wish!

Becoming His Beauty by R. L. Weeks book 1 in Distorted Fates A Charity Anthology

Everybody love the Fairy Tail of The Beauty and The Beast. Bell ends up a captive in the beasts castle with a rose ticking down the time the beast has to find true love to break the curse. Well what if there is a story about three Prince’s and they are all bad in different ways with their powers? You find yourself a prisoner in a castle and the prince doesn’t believe you that you didn’t have the rose or knows where it is. You have terrible nightmares about all this and during the day light, your not sure what is real and what isn’t. But when it’s to late, you realize that your the ugly beast.
This story is like the author played a mind game on you over the real Fairy Tail and I feel hook, line and sinker.

Malia’s Curse by Amy Cecil Book 2 Distorted Fates A Charity Anthology

This Fairy Tail hit home for me. As a child and teen growing up, I was always bullied. They teased me about my curly hair, my height, me size and I was never asked to join the cool girls in high school. If I had a man approach me and tell me he can take me away and make me a Queen in a beautiful peaceful place and do what ever I want to the bullies, I’d ask what’s the catch? Nothing is for free, there is always a price. Think before you jump, or you may end up just like the bullies you hate so much.
Please stop bullying! Talk to your kids or grandkids about it. Tell them to treat people the way you want them to treat you. There are elementary school kids committing suicide because of being bullied. It has to stop!

Beneath the Crimson Cloak by Jill Ramsower Book 3 Distorted Fates A Charity Anthology

Hatred is something all humans feel from time to time. Sometimes it’s easy to forgive and other times the hatred follows you around for years. It’s not always easy to forgive someone who has hurt you in a way that it stays with you. Hatred can turn to needing revenge and that can put you in cuffs.
This was a very unusual way to show what hatred is and I absolutely love how the author went about it. It made me stop and think. You may not think you are capable of it, but your wrong. You can break the curse just by confessing how you feel

A Diamond in the Rough by William Joseph Book 4 Distorted Fates A Charity Anthology

This one was very exciting. It was about Aladdin as a young boy and Abu as a dog. Jasmine hands him a bag and tells him to go to the Tower and give it to her Father. This was like a James Bond mixed with a little of the Jetsons and a hint of The Pink Panther. I just wish I knew what happened with Jasmine, Aladdin, Abu, Jafar and the Sultan.

Snow White and the Seven Cyborgs by B.J. Hardy Book 5 Distorted Fates A Charity Anthology

Snow White and the Seven Dwarf's is my childhood favorite. This story isn't a Disney movie, it's a twisted science fiction and it was awesome. Based on the Disney version, but much more exciting this way. I loved it!

Return to Innocence by LJC Fynn Book 6 Distorted Fates A Charity Anthology

It took me a while to figure out what fairy tail this one was. Dave is in high school and for years she has been seeing people that no one else can. So I thought Medium, until the hot looking one told her his name. The light bulb went off and Dae's dance interview hit it on the nail. What a genius way to put this fairy tale.

The Prince of Villainy by Yolanda Allard Book 7 Distorted Fates A Charity Anthology

Robin Hood done the dark way, wow! I think there is another tale mixed in, but I'm not sure. This was definitely paranormal and it was great. The answers at the end we're a little shocking and that just added to the excitement. I will never look at this fairy tale the same way again

Crystal Fever by Dana Fraedrich Book 8 Distorted Fates A Charity Anthology

I think this one has to do with Frozen, as when a person gets the crystal fever, they go to the Pale Queen and it’s freezing and snowing there. The Queen fills them with insults and that turns them to ice. A brave Bertie befriends two very nice queens and their little brother. They want to help her, so they take a sleigh pulled by a reindeer and a polar bear bodyguard. I felt like a kid again reading this, it was great!

The Feral Ones by Krystle Able Book 9 Distorted Fates A Charity Anthology

Wow, Hansel and Gretel on the dark side with a side dish of vampire and horror. This was paranormal gone wild and it was great! I love how the roles were switched and Red Ridinghood stopped by. This was a really good combination, with a demon and what the demon does to the villagers children. I was glued to this story!

Natural Enemy by Lorah Jaiyn Book 10 Distorted Fates A Charity Anthology

This was really good! The Little Mermaid meets paranormal in an old sleepy fishing town hit by a hurricane. Never wait to tell someone you love them, cause you never know when that persons heart may be ripped out. Oh and by the way, the Dinner is open and serving hot coffee and pie, hurry on in. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, awesome!

The Mane Heiress by Hope Sherrill Book 11 Distorted Fates A Charity Anthology

Paranormal Rapunzel, who would of thought? It was great! I love the storyline and how Rapunzel still has to be rescued, but in ghostly way. Then you have a dark witch, witch craft, a curse and only one person or persons can break it. Plus there is a little Sleeping Beauty mixed in and not with the girl sleeping. Genius!

Again, Thank You Make a Wish and all these amazing authors for everything you do!

This was an amazing collection of fairytales told in such a distorted way. They were all a little bit twisted and very intriguing to read. I really loved the Rapunzel story in the end and also and the siren story was also amazing.
Every one of these stories had an amazing twist to them and every author in this anthology did an amazing job telling these short stories.
Definitely recommend reading this especially if you are into fairytales told in a completely different aspect.

These new twist to Fairy Tales was an amazing read! Having some of my beloved authors step out of their norm was refreshing. I found some new authors and stories I'm very excited to continue reading. Each author put a new and fresh spin into their stories.

Amazingly good...I absolutely loves all 11 stores in the Villains point of view!!! They were definitely distorted and twisted but engaging and fun. Becoming His Beauty by R.L. Weeks was so unique and different that I was beyond fascinated but the story. I want more of Isabella and her revenge. Amy Cecil and Malia’s Curse also was extremely good and how Malia felt about her life and what she did was enjoyable to read in her perspective. Over all I have to say not a single author disappointed me with this charity anthology, of anything I want to ready more stores from these talented writers. Love love loved the whole book!!!
