I read this book as part of a women’s study and was blessed by it in so many ways!
It reminded me:
* I was created for a specific and divine purpose - to represent God and to be a blessing to the world.
* My calling as a Christian woman is to be an Ezer - an ally, someone who supports, aids, rallies to a cause, and brings others strength.
* My words are essential to the relationships I build.
* Words aren’t neutral, they’re sticky, and they reflect my heart.
It challenged me:
* To examine if I am representing God and blessing others through my words. Do my words reflect my heart or God’s?
* To uncover the root of why my words aren’t always life-giving.
* To repent for the times I have failed and continue to fail with my words.
* To cry out to the Lord and ask him to transform my speech.
This book is based on scripture and full of practical wisdom to help readers get to the heart of their speech. Great book for a study. A must-read for all Christian women.
