Rate this book
What is multiplication, and how does it work? With the cartoon character “Multiplication” as their guide, readers will have fun with bees, boulders, and monster legs to find out! Through bright and colorful comic-book-style pages, kids will master basic multiplication facts and strategies. A helpful multiplication table and a list of additional resources are featured in the back of the book. Building Blocks of Mathematics is a fun series of mathematics books from World Book! Story problems help students with a primary reading level of 3 through 5 develop a fundamental understanding of mathematical operations and teach them techniques for solving real-life math problems. Designed in collaboration with elementary mathematics education experts, this series is appropriate for kids who are just beginning to learn math concepts, as well as older readers who can benefit from review and reinforcement.

Great resource to help a young mathematician to understand how multiplication is a faster way to add, to see how regrouping works and all in a fun and upbeat format. Graphic novelish in style and not too much information. Enjoyed this book and the learning.

For visual kids this is such a great series of books about mathematics. It takes basic math concepts, multiplication in this case, and describes them with word problems but through illustrations and dialogue bubbles like a graphic novel.
