'For excitement, elegance and sheer virtuosity, Llewellyn's books sail rings round the competition' Literary Review The sea off the west coast of Scotland is a dangerous place... Gavin Chance is an ex-policeman, Olympic sailor and unsuccessful yacht broker. Now he is skippering an oligarch's superyacht, and the oligarch wants to send him on a seaborne tour of Scottish distilleries. Gavin once had a difficult relationship with whisky. Now, difficult looks like turning into lethal....
Single Handed carries on where Black Fish finished except that Gavin Chance is now a great deal more sober, if not still as disaster prone as ever. Russian gangsters, beautiful women and lots of desperate mayhem against a beautifully painted background of sailing the west coast of Scotland and England. Fans have had to wait a long time for this one, but it was worth the wait!
