My favorite chapter would be chapter 11, good and evil. I love how it emphasized that we can do good and bad things but we should always able to think and differentiate it.
Anyway Vol 2, doesnt much that attract me. Im slowly reading this compare to vol 1. So yeah, some story are quite weird and not really that good but I still appreciate the messages behind it 💞
TW/CW: mature themes, mental disorders , depiction of accident, mentions of suicide, substances (drugs), violence, implication of paedophilia
All hail Mr. Takayanagi for imparting great wisdom. He reminded me so much of my Intensive English professor from college. She was such a nice lady. If you love this manga, I would recommend checking out Night Patrol Teacher (Yomawari sensei). Both series revolve around troubled teens and a teacher with a helping hand. The latter is an autobiographical manga though. Both are dark and thought-provoking slices of life. That one kid wanting to be special hit home. I also enjoyed the concept of persona. I don’t like it when people say that reading manga is a waste of time because I’ve learned so much from them. Plus, they help those who learn best through visuals!
The beauty of this manga is that the students are dealing with realistic issues and the sensei isn’t there to solve their problems but rather try to understand them. <3 Sometimes all we need is an understanding company with a lending ear. It does take the weight off our shoulders a bit.
Why, why are we the way we are? I wonder if knowing that would knowing that really help us though...
This volume made me think - you can live according to your own individual convictions, just be ready to bear the cost of your choices. Consequences lurk around all the steps we take.
