DNF’d at just 10%
I have never left a book that fast. The writing was too juvenile for me I just could not go on. The characters literally did not have any depth and everything was so fast. I really could not go any further.

Savannah is out on the town with her bestie when the man across the dance floor captures her attention. Having liquid courage, she heads over and chats with him.
Vincent isn’t out looking for a woman. He has duties that garner his upmost attention. While standing there having a conversation with his men, this woman comes up and interrupts the conversation.

Finding out what Vincent does, comes as a shocker to Savannah but like a drug, she had her first taste that one night in the bar and she is addicted. Same goes for Vincent…he’s addicted.
Although labelled as a mafia book, I would say this is a light mafia, more of a insta-love romance book. Having read lots of mafia books, there are things that happen in this book that are hard to believe for a mafia themed book. Savannah was kind of a young clueless woman who was more concerned about shopping and swimming and drinking. Even when a big storm is brewing, she is considering going out to dinner.
Times in this book that I would have to re-read a paragraph to see what was happening or wait didn’t they already go home, how could this be… I think a great editor could knock this book from a 3 star to a 5 star in a heart-beat.

This book will have you glued from page one to the very end.
We meet Savannah a real estate who goes for a night out with her friend to celebrate her divorce from her husband soon to be ex Joel. Joel is the only man that Savannah has been with sexually so when she spots a good looking man whose dressed in expensive clothing up at the bar she decides that he could be just what she needs and decides that he would be perfect for her first ever one night stand. So s h e sets about seducing him.
The man in question is a very dangerous man called Vincent who is a bit of a gangster and has a lot of secrets. He's also a man that always gets what he wants and when Savannah starts to seduce him he's more than happy for her to. For Savannah isn't just one night of sex but for Vincent it's a lot more and its not long before things heat up between them and Vincent promises her that he will always protect her. This is exactly what's he having to do due to her soon to be ex husband Joel.
Joel and Savannah split after Joel cheated on her and asked for a divorce which she gave him but now it's going through he's changed his mind and is determined to get his girl back.

I loved this book! It is exciting and steamy. Every girl loves a bad boy and this guy is bad! Savannah and Vincent have a romance that is unpredictable and romantic! Highly recommend this book to you!

If you love a good mobster romance story then I recommend this book and the rest of the series so much! It gets 4 stars from me for one reason only and that is the grammar. If the story is good then I usually can deal, and I did because the story is phenomenal, but it needs editing in a lot of places throughout series. I understand the parts where he is originally from Italy and the language barrier, but there was quite a bit that a fresh editor and a new pair of eyes would find in a heartbeat and fix it right up. If you can deal with that then read this series pronto! It got me out of a book funk and I am thankful for that. Go ahead and after buying this one just grab the other two because you will be mad at yourself if you don't. I picked up a paperback of this at a book signing because who doesn't love a good story and the mob involved count me in! Once they are edited and corrected I would love to have the trio on my shelf together and not just the one. Here is hoping I see you at another signing! Anyways, I couldn't put it down! Savannah: curvy beauty who is new to dating again after a divorce, wants a one night stand. The other half of that night wants more, Vincent: tall dark and sexy as all get out but dangerous and knows exactly what he wants and how to get it...and Savannah has no clue what she got herself into. It's classic love story issues but with a twist of mystery and madness with mob hits and crazy rival families trying to mess things up. It's a doozy and will take you on a ride that makes a fantastic movie in your head! Thank you for writing about mobsters and making me skip some adulting duties, it was so worth it!

FLOVED IT! I fell in love with this book! The scenes are amazing and I love all of the little details and in depth description within the pages. The character connections were fantastic! Love, hurt, passion, anger, intrigue, murder, loss and so much more are written within the pages. It will leave you wanting to read more by the end. Well done!

I want to start with I have been so tired of Mafia romances. This one caught my attention and has not let go. I started it last night and could not put it down. I love Savannah and Vincent! Savannah is so easy to relate to. And Vincent, tall, dark, handsome and yummy! I am working on Lush now!

A doomed romance.
Good story but felt a little long. Also not sure if the broken English is intentional as there was so much of it. Either way, not bad for a series opener.

Tipsy: I Am Drunk On Him (Intoxicate Me, #1) by Eden Rose is a book that will glue you to its pages! It is suspenseful, sexy, full of heart break, and of love! Savannah and Vincent's story is definitely one worth reading!

Talk about a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat! This book has it all, from two ladies going to the bar to celebrate the almost divorce of one of them, to picking up strange men for one night stands, to becoming affiliated with the mafia in some way/shape/form. This book is intense. The dynamics between Savannah and her ex-husband Joel are intense in and of themselves. This is a man who cheats on his wife, asks for a divorce, and then she gives it to him and he does everything he can to get her back. Watch as two rival mafia families get ready to go to war over this situation all because of Joel. Don't forget there is kidnapping, violence, and lots of heavy sex involved.

Wow! Talk about twists and turns and not knowing what's up or down!
First of all, Vincent is HOT HOT HOT. Total alpha male. The chemistry between him and Savanna is just amazing and made me want everything to work out between them. I mean, they're so hot together!
Just when I thought I knew where things were going, things seemed to take another turn and left me wondering. The characters are so complex and intriguing. I loved Savanna so much and she had me cracking up. Vincent, like I said before. SO HOT and sexy, even though sometimes I wanted to punch him. But a good alpha male will do that to you. ;)
This is the second book I've read by this author and I'll be reading more!

Unbelievable!!! This story was so unpredictable, not to mention it was filled with lots of action and drama! It blew my mind by how much it kept my attention and kept me guessing. I just couldn't stop reading. I was constantly trying to figure out what was going to happen next.

I want to say more...but I don't want to ruin the story for anyone.
I know this though...I can read this over and over again. And I can't wait until the next book comes out!!

I would actually give this book a 3.5.
This book has a lot of typos which to be honest I don't really mind. The story kept me reading right till the end and I can say for certain that I'll be reading the next book.
Although there were some points in the book I had a hard time following, I liked the pace the story moved at.
The hero and heroine kind of stupid but at the same time it kind of serves as a plot device as well as serving to make the characters relatable because who hasn't at one point or another been young stupid and it love?

Tipsy is book one in Eden Rose Intoxicate Me Series. It grabs your attention with action packed drama that leaves you sitting at the edge of you seat waiting to see what was going to happen next. Vincent is hot alpha, mafia and Savannah is newly divorced real estate agent. The chemistry between them is scorching. Can't wait to get my hands on book two

I loved this book. I would definitely recommend that you read it. It is full of steam, and mystery. Just when you think you know what's gonna happen the author turns things in the opposite direction. I just love Vincent and Savanna.
