It took them a while, but these kids finally make their minds up. Their decisions might not be the most ideal, but at least they are happy. Most of them. Loss is a big part of growing up and all 4 characters certainly did a lot of maturing.

Hello everyone, readers 🌸
Today I bring you the review of the latest volume of the manga Netsuzou Trap. With that said, let's begin:
💓 This volume starts with the scandal caused by the leaking of an intimate photograph of Yuma and Hotaru, published by Fujiwara. Reactions vary between morbid curiosity and homophobia, affecting Yuma's image.
While Takeda, the main victim, feels manipulated by the antagonist, she uncovers the truth behind the leaked photo. Nevertheless, she is willing to forgive the girl she loves.
💓 After confronting the person responsible for the infidelity, the social fetish disappears. Yuma, for her part, decides to choose her lover instead of giving her ex a second chance.
After a night of passion, Hotaru skips class at a crucial moment before university exams. After a week without seeing her, Julieta visits her apartment, only to be greeted by a man.
💓 This appearance marks the climax of this story of immoral romance, where Yuma searches for her beloved.
It is revealed that Hotaru's widowed father prioritized his new partner over his daughter, leaving Hotaru with emotional deficiencies that she tried to fill through sex.
Through this character, we learn about Hotaru's escape, which triggers Yuma's desperate search. Her attempt to find her in the listings of a real estate magazine proves fruitless.
At the climax of the story, Yuma accidentally finds her just as she is about to give up. Hotaru invites her to her apartment, one that Yuma had seen empty before. In that space, feelings emerge, and the love between them blossoms, inspiring them to dream of a future together.
🌸 Conclusion: This installment masterfully culminates an erotic story of Netorare, based on shôjo with Yuri, where Yuma evokes more empathy than Takeda, who should be our main concern.
And while Hotaru's story does not excuse her wrongdoings, it highlights our sexual and emotional needs as human beings.
For an "extra soppy" story of broken people, bad behavior, terrible decisions, and beautiful destructiveness, this volume appears to deliver a traditional happy ending free of almost all of that, with a quick dimestore psychological explanation for our main antagonist's behavior justified by some quickly thrown-together backstory, and a brush-off of the side characters who are left to either wander off to be dirtballs elsewhere, or silently sigh on the inside while offering up typical beta-male platitudes passed off as understanding and depth. It seems a bit of a letdown, until you realize that the relationship crafted at the end is really an unhealthy one of co-dependence bordering on a CG/L dynamic; and proof that, far from our "broken" character getting healed, she managed to instead drag her friend into her morass forever, while collaterally damaging everyone else along the way. So really, whether the author intended it or not, she gave us the perfect scandalous conclusion to a saga of chronic dysfunction—which may explain why you want to be disappointed by what appears to be a happy ending, but still somehow find it satisfyingly trashy.
this is not one of the most horrible mangas i ever read but it really isnt as bad as some make it out to be. yes, it is full of tropes, fan service to the extreme at times, and really horrible in many cases i still do enjoy just how messy it is. i adored (a some points) how raw the inner conflict of one fighting with themselves to try and be normal. everyone around you telling your feelings are wrong, makes you believe in turn that what you're doing IS disgusting and needed to be fixed.it leads to the overall story of how bad people screw up in trying to do the "right thing" for others rather than themselves. it was pleasant in a way to see their goals were not easy, the lesson that once people are honest is where things truly change. and if not? it only hurts yourself and everyone around you. once again i wont sit here and lie saying i would recommend this to read but for my own final two cents, reading along they all grew on me (some more than others). as much as they got on my nerves im glad the ending was happy.

The final volume. Most of the foreshadowing is resolved, though some parts feel slightly rushed. Still, the sheer momentum of the story makes it easy to overlook those rough edges. Hotaru’s line, “Trusting someone is scary,” turns out to be the emotional core of the entire narrative, and her previously enigmatic actions finally fall into place by the time she says it. While it’s an unusual yuri manga, the experience is closer to reading a mystery, where everything comes together at the very end, leaving a genuine sense of emotional payoff.
The art is cute, and we see the reason behind Hotaru's sad eyes. It is a little over the top dramatic, but its an ok series. The fan service is back in this one too... I can't say I could really recomend it, but if you like yuri with lots of drama and fan service, and a overly simple plot, maybe?
Ended a lot better than expected. I thought it was going to be a drama-for-the-sake-of-drama plot, but they actually did something with it and did something good with it. Very surprised. Very impressed.
The only one out of the bunch who’s a good person is Takeda, and the end...well, the girls work it out eventually. I wouldn’t recommend this one as a good yuri manga to check out, though, sad to say. The characters were just so wishy-washy and unlikable.
Felt quite rushed for the end of the series, throwing important backstory for the characters and closing all the hanging plot threads all in quick succession without pause. It's an ok ending, it doesn't give any cliffhangers at least, but I just wish it was expanded more at a slower pace.
