I felt this issue wasn't quite as good as the other 4 we've read. There were fewer cultural notes to learn from, and more focus on lesser known characters. It was still full of smiles, though. I liked chapters 77 and 82 the best. The chapters were about the following:

- 77: chores at school and making dolls
- 78: literally about spoilers
- 79: flute lesson
- 80: homework during vacation
- 81: strawberry picking
- 82: making cookies
- 83: flashback with Sweet Shop Lady
- Afterward: hayfever

Over the past 10 volumes we have learned the characteristics of the cast. It was refreshing to see a new character (Akane) see these characters for the first time and get her reaction. That alone made this volume entertaining. I enjoyed the chapter about spoilers in shows. I also really enjoyed the chapter about strawberry picking. Another solid volume by Atto.

We got a new girl, Akane! A friend of Konomi's who is super shy. Seeing her deal with the rest of the cast's whole... weirdness... is cute. I like the flashback chapter where candy store lady has to take care of child Hikage, who is so much more difficult to deal with than Renge apparently.
