Tachibana Higuchi (樋口 橘, HIGUCHI Tachibana), born 1976-03-16 , is a Japanese manga artist. In year 1996, she first made her debut work in Bessatsu Hana to Yume's 5th issue, entitled 5 Gatsu no Sakura (『5月のサクラ』?).

During an interview with Tokyopop, she gave a detailed account of how she started as a mangaka.

"I first submitted a manga story a while after I graduated from high school. Up until then I was studying for the entrance examinations for the Art University, and as part of that, I sometimes drew manga and four-panel strip comics for fun.

"Because I was conscious of the fact that I had started drawing manga in earnest at a later age, I think my progress during the beginning on drawing and storytelling techniques was fast as I frantically tried to absorb everything I could learn about creating manga. After the serialization of the story began, as I got busy, I was so desperate to submit it on time that I feel that the drawings probably haven’t improved much compared to before. During the serialization of the manga, I think my story telling techniques improved more as I concerned myself with how to catch the attention of the readers, how well one can incorporate what the readers are seeking into the story."

It's so over.

Me ha enfadado muchísimo la decisión de los directores y no me parece justificable por mucho que lo hagan x su bien. ¿Os olvidáis de que gracias a Mikan está habiendo un cambio real en la academia o...? Porque mind you si no fuera por ella el lugar seguiría fatal porque sois una panda de inútiles y por no hablar de todo el dolor que le ha causado. Es que porque cojones no dejáis que se quede en la escuela aunque ya no sea Alice?? Justamente x esto que decís de lo unida que está a la institución debería de quedarse, no echarla y borrarle las memorias pedazo de zoquetes.

Por otro lado todo el tema Natsume??? He's so dead wow. No sé qué está haciendo Hotaru para salvarlo pero me va a saber fatal porque seguramente es la razón por la que ella acaba como acaba (según me spoilee) y no me va a parecer nada justo, ya lo veo venir.

Bueno, no es por ser derrotista ni negativa, pero este final no tenía porqué ser TAN triste después de toda la de mierda por la que han pasado los críos y me temo que el final me va a decepcionar como a mucha gente.. Enfin, que le den a los adultos de la academia!

pd: alguna de las escenas de las memorias si me ha movido pero that's it, se me pasa pronto la tristeza y vuelve el enfado.

Pěkná kresba, které se dá bohužel hodně věcí vytknout. Občas měly nějaké části těla divnou velikost, jež se prostě nedala přehlédnout, protože to bilo do očí. Také se zde vyskytoval výškový nepoměr mezi různými věkovými skupinami. Taktéž se mi zdálo mnoho postav velice vzhledově podobných, takže se pak hůře rozpoznávali a bylo jednoduché se v tom ztrácet. U tohohle mohu ale přimhouřit oči, jelikož tu bylo charakterů opravdu požehnaně. Abych tady nezmiňovala jenom zápory, tak musím říci, že se mi hodně líbily zjednodušené kresby, design školních uniforem a ostatního oblečení.

Příběh se mi líbil, a dokonce mě některé momenty dojaly až k slzám. Pomyslela jsem si, že je moc hezké vidět něco tak nezkaženého. S odstupem času jsem ale k celému ději o dost skeptičtější. A překvapilo mě, kolik vad jsem byla schopna nalézt. Avšak ještě divnější bylo, že jsem si příběh byla přesto schopna docela užít.

První vadou je věk postav. Nemyslím tím, že je špatné, že jim bylo okolo deseti, ale to, že na svůj věk byli v některých ohledech až moc vyspělí. Řekla bych, že většina ve všech ohledech, protože především hlavní hrdinka měla tendence se k někomu pořád lísat. A kdyby nebyla tak nízcí, klidně bych prohlásila, že jsou na střední škole. Především když vezmu to, jak byli Mikan a Natsume pokročilý ve svém vztahu. Jako neřekla bych, že vášnivé líbání patří k desetiletým dětem. Ke všemu když se ani šesnáctiletí (nebo kolik jim bylo :D) nedostali tak daleko.

Dalším mínusem byla až přílišná zamotanost příběhu. Což bych nebrala obvykle jako vadu, ale tady to bylo až přespříliš. Začalo to někdy za dvacátou kapitolou. Od té doby jsem byla mnohokrát zmatená a nevěděla jsem, o co jde. Když k tomu navíc připočítáme to, jak moc si jednotlivé postavy byly podobné. A za druhé mě to ani nezajímalo, jelikož nějaký svůj příběh měl skoro každý. To je normálně dobrá věc, neboť to dodává příběhu na důvěryhodnosti. Tady to akorát zbytečně natahovalo příběh o nezajímavé informace o nudný charakterech, a když vezmete v úvahu počet postav... Je to pak úmorné.

Vadou číslo 3 jsou nezajímavé postavy, když nepočítám tedy ty hlavní, ty jsem si velice oblíbila. Ale ostatní mi byli úplně ukradení, a tak jsem přímo trpěla, když se tam objevovaly bubliny se strašně dlouhým textem. Ke všemu když se tam akorát řešily vztahy a jejich zamotanost. Tenhle a tamten miloval támhletu, ta milovalo tamtoho a tak dále. Tím se potom tak nějak vyřešilo všechno, což bylo dost neuvěřitelné. Ta láska se objevovala vážně všude, až to začínalo být nesnesitelné, jelikož nemůže být příčinou a průvodcem všech událostí.

Poslední výrazné mínus je, že nikdo nebyl ve skutečnosti zápornou postavou. Ze všech záporných postav se staly kladné, a nebo byly ukázány hrozně moc dobré "důvody," proč tomu tak je. Pokud teda nebudeme brát jako záporáky ty lidi, kteří stojí za Alice's Academy, neboť ti jediný byli zlí, neboť děti v ní vlastně uvěznili. Ale jelikož ani jeden z nich nebyl ukázán, tak se to nedá počítat.

Výše uvedená věc mi opravdu vadila. Vážně nemám ráda, takhle zkažený lidi, co myslí jen na sebe a na to, jak získat, co nejvíce peněz. Také si mi nelíbí to, jak ostatními opovrhují. Nechápu, proč jim ani nedovolili se vídat se svými rodiči. Jsem překvapená, že už dávno neudělali převrat. Protože bojovat proti zlu zevnitř, většinou moc nefunguje.

Abych jen příběhu něco nevytýkala, tak sem napíšu i nějaké klady. Nebo se o to aspoň pokusím. :D Největší plus bylo působení některých situací na mé emoce. Někdy v průběhu jsem byla opravdu emotivní, dokonce jsem uronila i pár slz. A u scének s Mikan a Natsumem jsem se culila jak malá holka. :D Pár věcí mě tu i pobavilo. A nic dalšího mě nenapadá. Ups...

Konec mi nijak zvlášť radost neudělal, jelikož je tam spoustu nelogických věcí, což mě štve. A celkově mi to přišlo celé divné

Anglické obálky se mi líbí o dost více než ty japonské. Vypadají víc elegantně a vznešeně. Na některých obálkách se mi ale nelíbí kresba postav/y.

Contente que l'histoire tire à sa fin, après 29 tomes je pense que l'auteure a raconté tout ce qu'elle voulait. Cet aperçu de la fin est très satisfaisant et je pense que cela va finir sur un bon ton.

I cant believe it ;_; how could he die ??! Because he did right? I mean, they left to help somehow, but they havent come back in months and last time he was dead so I dont think it will change anything. Also, I'm so glad Imai showed up ! I was so scared and sad that she wouldnt make it :'(

I shed tears because of Bear though.... He is the cutest and this whole thing is just too sad for me to handle...

Sakura is so grown up and strong now... I dont think I could handle having all memories erased of people that I loved. I think she's always so admirable, trying to smile and not cry in front of her peers while still hurting inside.

She's the strongest character I've ever read about and I think it's refreshing to have a young girl be the hero

Ladies and gentlemen! I present to you the BEST UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE CENTURY!
"Sad" doesn't even come close to what I'm feeling right now.
Imagine this: A bread knife cutting a hole on your chest, you get your heart then stab repeatedly with a trident, yes a trident, go get one. Once you're done stabbing, dice it into little pieces then fry until you've achieved a nice golden brown colour.

But in all seriousness, I think my heart has reached it's limit. I may need anti-depressants and a psychologist.

Ugh! Mikan's alices are gone?! WTF! And now the staff have to erase her memories.. and that's the part where i start crying... my tears just keeps flowing T^T WHY MUST THIS HAPPEN?! Gawd! It's so sad. I'm still crying. Now everyone is talking about happy memories they had with Mikan. ♡ aww lol Kokoroyomi is saying all the secrets. Since he does know everything! Hahahaha uh, i'm starting to cry all over again.

I cried when Permy cried. Laughed so hard when Koko revealed everything! Oh you know the "Koko knows everything" thing - he's the mind reader after all. And he's just so funny I can't even explain!
Ahh, I can't believe I'm a few more chapters away till the end. This is just so hard to bear. Like how hard it is to bear for Bear that Mikan's leaving the academy..

ini komik pertama yang aku baca setelah 'agak' sembuh dari sakit (kayak sakit berapa bulan aja -.-)
Well, aku sangat menantikan jilid ini sebenarnya, dan setelah beli malah harus menunda untuk membacanya.
Daan, belum apa-apa, aku baca, baca, baca, lalu menangis. Well, hampir. Tapi beneran bagiku sedih! Poor Mikan...

Truth is, I have been crying nonstop since yesterday.

I am 24 (almost) and I may be a bit old for this but I guess at the end of the day, we are all kids at heart :)

Just one thought though, can Mikan take Bear outside the Academy?
