I have these moments where I can’t believe I’m reading advanced level books in this beautiful language and not only that, I’ve graduated from amdani to read ‘normal’ books based on the Amdani series as a spring board to strengthening my reading skills throughout the Dysgu Cymraeg courses.

The books throughout the series have been very varied in their topics and no more than the short stories which are made up of multiple scenarios and written by great authors. They expose you to all sorts of new vocabulary which makes these so invaluable and I really enjoy the feeling of being able to read in Welsh having come so far!

Excellent and enjoyable short stories although I found the last one particularly difficult to read. I especially loved Mihangel Morgan’s story- I found it quite Chekhovian.
